Thank you for sharing this vulnerability because we are at different points. Many of us are at the same place, with various symptoms of how we are breaking and then mending our precious complete selves. Yes, constant test from life. Life speaks to us on so many subjects.
So beautifully put! Thank you for sharing such an embodied art of life. I feel I have been on a similar journey where I had been forced to slow down when I thought I was already slowed down through a health recovery and have too gone down the rabbit hole of self betterment, mastery, and healing only to come to a point of realizing its all perfect as it is as well. Such a fickle balance that seems to lay with in this journey. Because the healing never ends but there also need to be a space of acceptance held within the seekers journey.
Learning to slow down is a precious gift, and so is our beautiful world. Thank you Caro for sharing your perspective with the world. Happy winter!!! And happy holidays!
Love this video! And thanks for your vulnerability to share your thoughts! I can deeply resonate a lot when you spoke about the hole in a boat. Our mind likes to create fear and make ourselves to do things out of fear. And when we finished doing, it indeed brought us temporary feeling of safety but a while later our mind would create another kind of fear again. And the more we fell into this loop, the more we forgot we don’t have to do anything to seek safety. We are already safe and we are enough. Sometimes, we human just have to learn to let go of control and live just like kids. Just enjoy the present moment and stop projecting fear to our reality. I wish you have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones ❤😊
Reindigenizing Our Rhythms and moving away from the capitalistic mental machine IS FULL of Rest & Resilience. Grateful to See You coming more deeply and expansively into your Self. Continue to BE a Keeper of Wisdom in Growth. 🗝️✨🤍💫🙏 Blessings in Abundance Gratitude in Depth Love in Expanse 🙏🏼🌈🤍✨🗝️
Thank you so much for this video from your heart. It resonates deeply with me and my personal challenges and discoveries. Have a magical 2025, beautiful soul 🙏🏻💜
I am going through the same experiences that you shared about yours: learning how to feel safe no matter what, finding wholeness within, stop running, and feeling great about being slow, which is my innate nature. Honor my nature instead of trying to fit in. How to show up and share my art. Cacao has been my day-to-day healer as well since I was little. Have you tried mixing it with ashwagandha and lucuma powder? I do that every time, and it really lifts my spirit. I am studying Ayurveda Wellness and Integrative Health at MIU and have been integrating more Ayurveda into my routine myself. It looks beautiful, the nature where you live:). I lived in Oregon for a while where I experienced this myself and I truly miss it now since I am back in LA. Keep being you and sharing your beauty and Art! Love
Thank you for sharing your deep insights, Caro. A few things came up for me as you shared.. i feel there is so much power in surrendering. There's such a push and pull - a tension - when we begin to slow down and sometimes this is so innate; our nervous system, our emotional body, our physical body tries to pull us back to what is familiar and comforting. And yet as comforting as slowing down may be, it can feel foreign. Thank you for the reminder, that it is hard but incredibly rewarding to surrender and accept the natural changes of our selves while we slow down
It's sometimes destabilising for me but i see even when we slow down, we may discover that there are still other layers of slowness and peace, thanks for your sharing Caro 🍃🍂🍀
You definitely seem more at peace and content in the video. Pivot, be flexible, and don't take anything too seriously. Be kind to your body and mind without losing it completely. I agree a lot of new age theology consisting of mastery and healing often leads to a circular chase of discontent.
Thank you, Caro, for sharing what’s on your heart and mind. It’s never to much or not enough, for me, it always comes right whether you share some art or something personal. I recently read that when you invite love, success and wealth follows. This is what I see in your way of showing us yourself on this channel. I think we all struggle with balancing time, work and rest either as freelance artist or parents. We all have to find a way, our own way and there is no blueprint for that even if society makes us believe that. It isn’t. Each day is different. And sometimes a routine is pausing from a routine ( as you ones said). I love your content and you share what you want to share and all of that is your art. Have a restful end of the year! Many love from Berlin/Germany.
Yay, Caro, I loved seeing this raw vulnerable side of yourself, which you usually are, but in this very case feels freeing! I try and do this similar setting of self-therapy where I sit outside and talk to myself and pretend others are listening LOL overall Gracias por todo! It resonates and we are all happy to know that the hole in your boat is actually not as big as you would think ;) XOXO
So beautifully articulated and I love your message and wisdom. I have learned that if we don’t allow ourselves to change we can become stagnant or complacent; leaving no room for growth. If I leave myself open to the constant movement of my life, I allow myself the opportunity to explore more fully the wholeness of who I can, want and am meant to be. Bravo to you, to allow yourself the freedom of movement towards the truth of you.
My therapist recently told me that I might have Reactive Attachment Disorder (adoptee trauma) and I have always had a hard time with change (especially in relationships). Your perspective is so helpful to gain especially with going into 2025.
I love you Caro, thank you so much for sharing yourself with us and I'm happy to hear your awareness of how you are changing into a more complete version of yourself. 💗Much love and peace to you and your family. Also, a highlight of my year was meeting you at the cacao ceremony in Altadena. May 2025 bring you many more blessings. 💞
Thank you Caro for your generous and open offering and talk, for always showing up in heartfelt honesty and integrity and for being you, an emanation of loving kindness in living creatively. Yes, when we run, we run from ourselves. Happy Holiday Season and infinite love and appreciation for you.💖💫✨
Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life experiences and observations. I learn so much from them. You mentioned at the beginning of this video that you are studying two books on Wabi Sabi. I would love to know the titles and authors of those books. Additionally, what books would you recommend on the subject of Ayurveda? lots of love and good wishes from your friend In Virginia. Happy Holidays.
Aye, Caro. I resonate with this so much. The hole in the boat Metaphor. Wow! - I am definitely working on my ability to minimize that feeling as well. Thank you for this amazing Video! Besos, For the New Year! ✨🏔️ - N ♥️
More cacao with Caro please🙏🏻🤎
