Wow just wow. I picked up a set of needles today and had no clue how to do anything. Your videos are SO clear and helpful with it. Thank you so much!!
My mom taught me the continental knitting and it so much easier for me personally I just can't get the hang of this technique

Oh my god!!! I finally did it cause of this video!!! I’ve watched so many others, and they just couldn’t explain it in a way which made sense! Thank you so much!!!!
I’ve watched six other videos before I found this one. I was tearing my hair out because I couldn’t figure out at what angle everything was being held. This one is close up enough and slow enough for me to follow along.
You are the best teacher of knitting I've watched many literally many videos but your explanation was crystal clear
Your youtube channel should definitely be in my subscriptions😊
Ikr, like others they go way too fast and my 2 braincells don't get it. But with her explanation it was crystal clear!

Happy to hear that!
Me, finally making my first stitch after hours of practice: *YES!!!*
Me, when the first stitch falls apart when I try to make the second: *NO!!!!*
Same 😢
Great tutorial! I love the way you teach. I just bought a pair of bamboo needles and they seem to work out better for me than metal needles. Are wood needles even better? 🙂
Thanks! Bamboo wood is my personal favorite! Here’s more ua-cam.com/video/zyeItxSMG0U/v-deo.html
how do you do a wrap and turn stitch?
I think ill stick with crochet for the life of me cant figure this out tried a few times disappointing :( crochets got my heart maybe ill try again in future
My loops are really tight and I don’t know how to fix it, they’re too tight to knit 😣
Me too! I feel like I can get one or two stitches off onto the right needle, but then everything is way too tight
dont tight too much so it become easy
Love the needles! Where can I find them?
Your an awesome teacher also can u make a vid about how to knit a sweater for a kitten
Does it matter what kind of wool you use?
What mm needles should I use? My yarn says it’s a medium 4
what do i with the slipknot after the first round of stitches
Hi! I'd like to know what kind of yarn was used in this video. It looks soooo soft!
I don't know for sure but it might have been cotton yarn
My knitting (rows) is twisting around my needles, can you tell me whats going wrong
if i’m being honest i’m still really struggling on step 3, it either makes a knot or just falls apart and doesn’t do anything
Can u do the stockinette stich?
Why does my knit stitch and purl stitch look exactly the same?Pls help! I’m new to this hobby and it’s getting very frustrating as I’m positive I’m doing both stitches correctly. My knit stitch does not look like “V’s” 😭 help! 😂 thank you 😊( the knit stitch is supposed to look like V’s right?)
jennifer ramirez Are you using bulky yarn?
Jackie Krall There’s sort of only one stitch in knitting - the back of a knit stitch is a purl, the back of a purl is a knit. They’re made differently depending on which side you work from. You won’t see a difference in the stitches until you alternate a row of knits with a row of purls and that will make stockinette stitch (which is the “V” look). Or ribbing which is mixing knit and purl stitches on the same row.
Mine are looking alike too. 🥺
@@marielcolley5656 I'm telling you I've followed this method from different tutorial videos, all with the same contents until I've memorized it.
And I still ended up with purl 'bumpy' on BOTH sides. *BOTH* . The v shapes were on the insides but the exterior showed bumps.
I know what they're supposed to look like. I've watched enough tutorials to know what the right and wrong side is and that's why we're addressing this because we're confused of the outcome we made.
I even learned a more advanced cast on method because I thought that was my problem and it STILL CAME OUT THE SAME.
I only see 2 stitches when I pull the right kneedle out and one stitch leads to a slipknot and the other just leads to nothing? Like what am I doing wrong, I've followed the tutorial exactly and it's just not working
Is there one that begins with no stitches, very very beginning
i couldn’t even make the cast on
At the end of this video you're working string and your tail are on opposite ends mine are on the same side 😩 how did I mess that up
I found a tool called a yarn guide. you place the yarn into the tool and put it on your finger. I am visualy inpared and I found it helps me keep tonchen.
Whenever i try step 3 it makes me go crazy because it never works :(
Beginner here! I tried this and got a good swatch but it looks like a purl stitch when finished? Does anyone know what I did wrong or how I can fix it
This video start somewhere after starting the knitting process, so how are we supposed to begin?
Still cannot do it never a knot what am i doing wrong
Why did it say slow in the title but it wad super fast
its supposed to be slow
I love the video play grandma does not know how to knit she is so weird
I keep seeing that this is a purl stich??? And the straight up is the knit stich?
I still don't understand... I'm an idiot I tried tons of videos and yet I can't seem to do it.
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm following the exact steps but when I do the step of scooping the stich off the rest of it unravels. Help??
Maybe you are sliding both stitches off the needle. I made this mistake but watched it again. Watch a couple more times than try again! I’m sure you will get it.
Good video but please make it more slower! I wish it worked for me
i have no idea whats happening
Hi, I was wondering does it matter what type of yarn you use for knitting? I'm a first timer at this.
Felicia Taylor No, but it is easier for beginners if you use regular yarn
Why isnt step one showing how to cast on the initial stitches?
IT DIDN'T WORK OUT FOR ME
i could only do up to step 3 ☹️
It keeps falling off so I only get one off
I cast on 30 stitches and somehow finished my square with 42 but I can't seem to figure out what I did wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?
The most common reasons that extra stitches occur are either accidental yarn overs and inadvertent knitting into space between stitches. . Then, when you go to knit the next stitch, the working yarn goes up and over your needle creating an extra loop on your needle as it makes that next stitch.
@@rababali4069 Thank you :)
I’m still lost
I don't know how but halfway through my row, my stitches get so tight that I can't continue
this didnt make any sense
I just started knitting, and I keep doing the purl stitch instead of knit 😭😭😭
Ha, it happens!
I am sorry but should you start with t cast on first...I had to find another video too learn...but the rest of the video is right on time
this is so confusing
Hi i have one thimg to say, when u ezplain how to do it 1. Make it more vosible and 2. Use understandable language
I do not understand u explain right
