I pause halfway through the video just to say that I feel you're getting better at telling stories and sharing the beauty and the uniqueness of the places you travel to. As an audience it feels as we were there with you all along. And the chemistry between you two feels like pieces of puzzle fitting perfectly together. I truly enjoy your channel. Thank you.
Wow extremely kind of you to say! We both felt very proud of how this video turned out and are happy you enjoyed it as well. We’re doing our best to improve with each video while still including the reality of traveling together and our chemistry as a couple. Looking forward to sharing more of Italy with you!
Your tour of Venice was sensational! The historical comments of Venice were great. The visuals of the aerial views of the city, the views of the gondola rides, and the sites of the famous library, restaurants, and the Venetian concert were incredible! You are truly living life to the hilt!
Venice is very enchanting especially at night. The orchestra sound in the twilight of the piazza would be a memory. I liked the way you showed the quite side of Venice. I hope you journeyed into quite neighborhood on the quite side of the Rialto bridge. Enjoy!
Our Gondolier I think his name is Fabio recommended to have lunch at his Nonna’s restaurant nearby… it was pretty good … cozy little place and we had grilled fish with some olive oil and herbs.. simple but tasty
You’re both so knowledgeable about Venice’s history, great video with so much touch of class! The music played was fitting well in your video! Thank you Claire & Chad!
Hi kids, wow I was so hoping you’d go to Italy next 😊. So beautiful, gondola ride was amazing. I’ll pass on squid 😁, but wow what a portion ! Thanks again for the tour, looking forward to your next stop 😊. Take care, stay safe 🙏🌺
Venice is for sure great to visit but the other islands like Murano Burano and Torcello are most definitely worth a stop! We actually preferred those WAY more than Venice Island but TOTALLY understand the allure Venice brings. Everyone should participate on a food tour as well. Lots of hidden gems and off the beaten paths there. Love the little cicchetti. So darn good! Enjoy Italia!
Definitely have to visit those other islands next time. Sadly we were on a bit of a time crunch and wanted to spend a majority of our time in Venice. I’ve heard great things about them!
You Guys! This was an Awesome video! I feel like I was on the journey with you two! So excited to see more videos about Italy. Venice is so beautiful and going there is actually a great experience, I loved it! Thank you for sharing 😊💗
You guys captured the feel and culture of Venice so well. For a different experience, if you get the opportunity, you should return when the carnival is on, magical 🎭 Just be certain to avoid the canal side bars and restaurants, they can be a bit pricey to say the least!
Hi Chad and Claire, I'm really enjoying your videos and following along on your journey across the world. :) The chemistry you guys have is refreshing to see and I wonder if you've ever taken personality tests like the mbti or enneagram? If so, could you share the results in the next Q&A? Thanks again for such great content!
How do you know which way to go? Do people get lost? Btw where does the book store locate?how many people you can get on godola? And whatapp you do download?
As a Spaniard living in Italy I loved your comparison between Basque pintxos and Venetian cicchetti, I have always said the same to everyone but considering you are Americans show how cultured you are about every country you visit. It is really interesting since also the Venetian dialect is similar to Spanish in many ways and the black risotto you had is another typical Spanish dish: arroz negro. It was quite appropriate of you to compare it to Valencian paella but we actually have the black version with squid’s ink in Spain too
You have never not drunk Aperol. Wow... The ingredients include sour orange, gentian, rhubarb and cinchona. It is 11% alcohol. ( in Germany 15%) Then there is Added prosecco, mineral water and garnished with a slice of orange. My favorite aperitif, I can always tell when serving whether the ingredients have been measured out correctly. Great stuf with a lot of ice cubes
As a result of numerous invasions and late unification, each town (or even village) has its own culinary specialties, local dialects and culture in Italy. This is what makes Italian cuisine so interesting and varied. And Italians usually don't mess around with food, if what is on their plates is not up to their standards, no amount of decoration or service will save the place. Unfortunately, Venice suffers from its own success. The city has some very generic, low quality restaurants aimed at tourists that you need to skip in order to find authentic dishes. Veneto shares many specialties with Lombardy, like polenta and risotto, but they have their own twist on it and they have seafood.
Hey Alfred! We did not fly a drone in Venice! All the drone footage was stock footage. Sorry I couldn’t help you more. I’d be careful flying around the city though. I’m not totally sure if it’s allowed.
La musica è formidabile, se ben eseguita, e diventa una parola di pace per il mondo e una ispirazione per tutti. Immagiamoci un mondo senza musica.................... 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
No offense meant, but it's so sad that all Americans ever have as comparison to European places is "it's like Disneyland". It's just absurd. An italian/European place couldn't be further from that. It's not always perfectly clean, there's trash sometimes, old/crappy houses, wires everywhere... it's not fake. It's not just a tourist trap. Venice a real city where real people live actual lives (not that many any more, unfortunately). Kids go to school, people to work, there's a police and ambulance (boats)...
"I might have to be careful with this, cause I'm actually like very allergic to pine nuts..." And you were still prepared to try it? Doesn't sound like a smart person to give travel advice. Good luck with your risks and vlogs. Bye.
Overrated and way too much of exaggerations !! Plus the camera goes deep into your mouth !! 🤢🤢 !! We all know that it's a beautiful place with unique history but both of you are talking and irritating with your over explanation and unnecessary personal stories !!

Come to Jamaica 🇯🇲 2024. I said it
people say the rivers in Venice are very smelly and walking around u can get the bad smell. is it that bad.
Great video
We did not notice any smell when we visited, but I’ve heard the same thing! Perhaps during certain times of the year?
Would be nice if you guys mentioned prices, value etc a bit more.
Strictly not true .The Lido and pizale Roma has cars buses motor bikes . .It all part of Venice.
