This actually shocked me... I was looking for my headphones and he was already done with the tips! Lol. Like 'damn he's really **** going' Great video ty
Subbed because you first respected my time as a viewer and you provided great examples and advice afterwards. You had me in the first 40 seconds. Great job and great vid.
Really like the concise, UA-cam Shorts style intro followed by the in depth explanation after. Felt like I knew exactly what I'd be learning about so I wanted to stick around.
Great video man! These tips are super useful and really educational. Question for you... have you ever tried Next Level Diet? I got a muscle-building meal plan from them that's worked wonders for me.
I definitely wasn't going to watch the entire video but the fact that explsined all 5 in the first 60 seconds is definitely a sign i need to watch the whole video. Good job!
You're incredible easy to get addicted to, not sure why but your energy is probably spot on. No fancy music, no fancy editing, just overall very interesting and inspiring videos all the time. I love your take on the shoulders and how not to lock them all the time. I have been doing this for the past few months and at first it felt weird because locking your shoulders has always been a big part when doing chest for example. But now it feels great! Keep up the great work!
one handed rows are amazing, i started doing unilateral seated cable rows with elbows tucked in and its amazing, it allows me to really just focus on each lat. stretching it, almost crunching it in and then holding it for a second gives me a contraction close to cramps. i've definitely seen alot of lat improvement from it
You are completely right. I myself did unilateral seated cable rows. And it really helped me to fix my Lat muscle imbalance. I'll for sure stick to it for more growth
You will not find a content creator, especially in this industry as open and honest as this man, been following for 4-5 years and hes never switched up the style, Shout out Eugene - Big up Australia.
Hell yea! -2:57- the only creator that will not give you a bs out of pocket answer. The only man I have ever heard say “I don’t know to be honest” much respect 🙌
Video format is so great. I really appreciate how much you respect the viewer's time in the first minute as well as providing actual detailed info later in the video.
The fact that this guy gave me everything I needed to know right off the bat honestly made me more interested in the rest of the video. Love how this guy presents his videos, not a complete waste of time with a good amount of humor mixed in, 10/10 already loving it
I love your way of presenting, it's very respectful to include a recap at the beginning since I was watching this on my way to work and even without being able to watch the whole video, I was still educated by it. Kudos!
Clear, concise and efficient video. You just earned yourself a new sub, this was a joy to watch just because how well formatted and how my time as a viewer was respected.
I also really appreciated the tips at the beginning. I don't usually like and rarely comment, thought i'd give both in return. keep up the good work! your videos always have great information in them and i use tips from them all of the time in the gym
TIIIIIIGHT! Thanks uncle Eugene. Mistake number 1 is the biggest problem I face because I have an underdeveloped upper back. Will work on it from now on following your points!
This is my first time watching one of your videos and I love that it was all right at the front. That being said I'm watching the whole thing to get more advice and to help out your channel. Thanks.
I'm really new to working out (I'm 31) and it's been a bit intimidating, but I've gotten a little more comfortable these last few months and since I stumbled across your videos a couple weeks ago I've really been taking notes and enjoy how well you explain everything. Thank you!
I've been a long time follower, and this video in particular grabbed my attention with the great style of intro. Going further in it got even better. Concise and scientifically explained. I'm looking forward to more videos in this style.
Have never watched you, never heard of you nor seen you, however: you have impressed me with your introduction. You have earned a subscriber. I hope you keep doing this in your next "tips and tutorial" videos in the future. Keep it up.
man i love you so much. You have such a calming voice and your videos are so thorough and educational without peddling product or pushing biased or bad advice. And so accessible, too. Thank you
I always felt that letting my shoulders stretch forward in pulls felt good, and was surprised how doing that with rows triggered such a reaction from my upper back. I can't remember people talking about this one though. Only got comments to not round my back. It's a different stretch but it can look similar.
Great format and even better info. Eugene is highly articulate too. If you aren't subscribed you are excluding yourself from potential gains. Thanks Eugene!
you, will tennyson and jeff nippard are literally my bible. keep going bro, love your vids! you have changed my life around, never thought I could shed weight and feel great again. Started in lockdown and never stopped after that.
Loved the way you did this vid. No mess, here's the 5 points and then the follow up, rather than "There are 5 things you need to know and I'm going to tell you them right after I've told you 10 minutes of filler"
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen. Not just the training advise, even the immediate getting to the fucking point. Basically like a YT Short or Tiktok, direkt information, everything bundled in one short video + the rest of the video is a perfekt explanation of each point. Definetelely subscribing and watching more content.
Serge Nubret did a lot of those cross body movements and his upper body was fantastic. The offset doesn't even really need to be that severe. Doing really deep, diaphragmetic breathing on the eccentric at the same time to expand your rib cage also makes a big difference
Was nice to see so many comments on the same page as myself regarding a quick full under 1 min synopsis at the start, then expounding. Many UA-cam "instructors" need instructing on how to make their videos far more efficient. Their videos can be cut 60-70% without a viewer missing anything. So great job here. It's why I follow you... efficiency. I know a lot from my 30± yrs at the gym, so it's nice to get to the few new perspectives or reminders for optimizing growth quickly.
I have only watched one of your videos before this one and I have already fallen in love. The way you deliver the things your trying to say/teach is done so well that I don't get bored at all, I took a look at ganbaru and the way its set up is amazing. I look forward to watching more of your content if I'm in need of advice or just bored and need something to watch.

You nailed it! What I have discovered and used for years, continuously winning in the "Best Back" category in AAU Physique (what bodybuilding was officially called before it was coined such) Competition, in accordance with the AAU Physique Manual
I liked I subscribed I stick around till the end and watch every ad to the end, just because unlike others you went straight to the point, respect and thank you!
Have been watching for a couple of months and just noticed I wasn't subscribed yet, the beginning earned you a new subscriber instantly and i watched the whole video :)
Appreciate two things here. First the front load of the video, thanks for not making me sit through a whole video if I didn't want to. Second, the honest, how you said, "will this make a difference? I don't know". There's so much needed info to have a definitive answer, so much so that, "I don't know" is almost always the correct answer w these things. 👍 Also may include so cross body pulls, it's just such a hassle doing unilateral stuff
Great video, just one important detail : leaving the shoulder blades completely elevated and rounding the back at the eccentric part of the movement may be useful for moderate / light weight but can be harmful with heavy sets (low rep) as it can tear up the shoulders for instance. As seen in the video, you do that with light weight only.
Thank you for the summary and key points at the beginning! I still watched all the way through and certainly got great value. But the main points up front are great.
Have discovered all of these points myself recently and they've made a huge difference, except for the cross body pulls, those look kinda alien and I'm excited to try them out.
Love the facts that he beggin the video directly instead of talking for nothing during the first 10 min like many fitness youtuber
I watched the entire video for this very reason.

Thank you! 🙏 I try my best to keep things engaging for you guys

Great video ty
@@coacheugeneteo That was probably the most organic "like and subscribe" plug I've ever seen, I was literally unable to refuse.
Excellent style of presenting Eugene, always setting the standard :)
Thank you mate!! Always appreciate your support 🙏
caught me off guard. my first time watching him, instantly subscribed
@@ohthatsastinkypoopsalsbury147 same, the production is very high quality
Subbed because you first respected my time as a viewer and you provided great examples and advice afterwards. You had me in the first 40 seconds. Great job and great vid.
Thank you! 🙏 really appreciate it
Already subbed, but I thought the same. I love you, Eugene
Couldn’t agree more, not too often you see such valuable content in so little time AND THEN presented the option to continue. Love it🙌🏻
That's why I subbed a long while back. Even when he does talk at the start he has timestamps to get to the meat and taters.
Came here to say that
I stayed simply because you put the 5 tips first. So much respect and love for you Eugene 💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you! 🙏
Really like the concise, UA-cam Shorts style intro followed by the in depth explanation after. Felt like I knew exactly what I'd be learning about so I wanted to stick around.
Thank you! 🙏
eugene the type of guy, that gives all the important advices in the beginning of the vid.. legend 💪
Thank you! 🙏
Great video man! These tips are super useful and really educational. Question for you... have you ever tried Next Level Diet? I got a muscle-building meal plan from them that's worked wonders for me.
What a beautiful way to start a video, no bullshit, just straight to the point. Thank you, Coach Eugene!

45 seconds in. Cutting straight to it - this is why you're my absolute favourite content creator.
Also, that prime seated row looks amazing..

Thanks for not wasting anyones time! And your genuine energy + detailed explanations😄
u are an angel, literally the first one to say the tips at the beginning to save some peoples time

THANK YOU for making these videos the way you do. No fluff, straight to the point, and great demonstrations. Please don't stop making amazing content.
This is the best format Ive seen for youtube workout vids. Main points up front, then more in depth throughout the rest.
what a high level of understanding you have Eugene. Keep up the way you present yourelf. Love your content

Love a good reach around....
As someone with weak traps/mid back, this is something I've tried to incorporate.
I always felt that letting my shoulders stretch forward in pulls felt good, and was surprised how doing that with rows triggered such a reaction from my upper back.
I can't remember people talking about this one though. Only got comments to not round my back. It's a different stretch but it can look similar.
Refreshingly honest, genuine, and informative fitness video
I love the new concise video style and will be sharing with all my gym bros and brodettes. You're the best teacher Eugene!
Straight to the point!!!!!!! I wish the rest of the world was like you man….. changing the game 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Thanks for presenting the answer at the start of the video !
I just love this video. He just said what we want to know in the beginning and the hole video feels like an plus content
Liked ur honesty more than other aspects. "I dont know" part was always the best (no sarcasm). Most just state such debatable things with assertion.
Thank you! 🙏
Best video ever, leaves the viewer with the choice of getting to know more or just know the topics
Thank you for putting the 5 things at the start of the vid. Made me leave a like!
I love this type of concise videos that provide only necessary info
Beautiful style of structuring and presenting the video. Lovely.
The fact that you just said the 5 things in the beggining with no bullshit made me watch the whole video and subscribe!
As soon as you said I don’t know, I knew I could trust you, definitely why I subscribed

Literally subscribed just because of the beginning of the video being straight forward
Serge Nubret did a lot of those cross body movements and his upper body was fantastic. The offset doesn't even really need to be that severe. Doing really deep, diaphragmetic breathing on the eccentric at the same time to expand your rib cage also makes a big difference

Dives straight into it. Thanks for not wasting my time.

The way you deliver the things your trying to say/teach is done so well that I don't get bored at all, I took a look at ganbaru and the way its set up is amazing. Appreciate the immediate wrap up.
Thank You for starting right away
Appreciate the immediate info at the beginning. I watched the whole video because of it to return the favor
Thank you for the quick download 💪

Cant wait to try these ,I’ve been working out for years and can’t get a mind body connection on my back, therefore I’m built like a q-tip,
This dude cuts the shit and gets straight to the point, I love it.

Thanks for giving a quick overview! Watched it for the algorithm and the education
Glad you enjoyed it!
I learnt a lot from this video. I’ve been doing shit wrong for a long time

Amazing that your vids aren't loaded with ads
duuude that intro is the best intro 👍 and speaks volume of how confident you are in knowing your information is valuable - good stuff
Damn
Did not expect him to give all the keys at the beginning of the video. Appreciate that
Have discovered all of these points myself recently and they've made a huge difference, except for the cross body pulls, those look kinda alien and I'm excited to try them out.
Thanks for giving the tips upfront - very nice
