It was good to see the first guy on the lat prayer the lean forward to get more stretch and the stand up more for the contraction. I always try and tell people how much better/harder it is doing it this way.
Appreciate you inquiring about timing of compounds within the workout, and Dr Mike’s point that prioritizing compounds at the beginning of a workout to build strength is ideal for beginners and intermediates.

@@ruutjormun2262 bro I'm still making ridiculous gains, I was 86kg at peak bulk at the beginning of the year around 15% bf and now I'm around 12% (probably less actually but apparently people tend to underestimate) and I'm 88kg currently, fasted after poop in the morning.
What specifically are things that you changed after watching dr mike? And how are the gains 1 year later

You guys should make an app where its Dr. Mike talking the user through each set. Making jokes here and there and giving tips about the specific exercise. Lol
I get chronic upper lat tightness on my right side, I think from sitting in an office chair all day. Lat stretches have helped, at least temporarily.
I’m going to try that first lat prayer exercise you guys did. Looks awesome for stretching the upper lats.
If you have chronic lat tightness in your upper right lat, you might wanna check if your left pec major/minor is tight and restricted. That and make sure your left obliques and Hamstring work through their full ROM, so you can maintain good grounded pressure in the first place. If you notice it's more difficult to stay grounded on your left heel, it'll make back training a nightmare.
@@CyborgNinja442 what exercises do you think could even everything out? Right now I do mostly pull ups, rows, overhead press and push ups. Not enough leg work and no ab work. I’ll be adding those in soon, but would love to rehab this upper back issue.
It’s ok if I lay flat on a bed. But, when I sit in that office chair and then stand, the upper back always tightens up.

What's your thoughts on doing the DB row leaning over rather than on a bench? I normally do leave the leaning over method for barbell while using a bench for dumbbells. I find it easier to go heavy for less reps onthe barbell so my lower pack doesn't pump up, while leave the lighter more reps for the bench dumbbell version. You can also get a great stretch on a bench when you let your sholders round over the bench.
10:13 isolation before compound so as to conserve your fatigue levels. very important. I always finish my hamstring curls, leg presses and leg extension before attempting either a barbell squat or a dumbbell walking lunge.
It's like a bunch of heavy hitters showed up to train together. What a wild collab.

Glad to see people using straps on their back day so rare in a commercial gym you can get much better contractions though thing about these exercise's its not about how much weight you can do.
