Jumping into enormous holes is actually a Destiny tradition. Usually in Raids or Dungeons - you just pitch yourself into a gigantic spectacle hole, it's gorgeous, you fall for miles, and then use your abilities to not die on landing. Warlocks can just glide, so she can stop all her momentum and be fine.
Fun Fact, the dance off is a canon part of the game. Specifically on the War Mantis boots, it says "The more we danced, the more the Cabal battlenet lit up with requests for intelligence..." - unknown. Basically any official media put out by Bungie is potentially canon lore. They even make our antics apart of the lore. Players will randomly jump off the tower or dance with no music playing, so the canon reason is that we have brain damage from dying so often and being dead for so long before.

The Destiny series really got some cool trailers and I think the Dancing trailer is one of the top trailers. It's just so much fun to watch. The seasonal trailers are the ones to really watch for too. Looking forward to seeing more on this channel
Well, Bungie is partnered with Sony now, so live action Destiny maybe sometime in the future. Hopefully. I do hope you continue with the Destiny trailers, the DLCs and the season trailers. The latest Lightfall one was great.
I'd love a feature length movie that covers the "Hunter's Tale" (The story of Dredgen Yor and Shin Malphur). I feel it could be done as a lead-off fairly easily, given that the majority of the SFX would only be needed for two scenes. Man, I'd love to see Destiny come to the silver screen...
Oh nice. Live action series coming hopefully 🥳🥳 and we will continue with our Destiny journey as we heard Destiny 2 is when the story really picks up 🙂
Love the reaction! There's one more live action one hiding, there's a live action Japanese Taken King trailer based on a 'share with friends' in a laundromat, in case to ever revisit

Then i got my friends into it and we r a party of 6 now with all my besties x3 I really wish they did the live action of destiny. They pretty much show they can deliver it haha

As a Destiny 2 player I love it whenever you guys do Destiny reactions. Can't wait until you guys start reacting to Destiny 2 stuff. The Red War was a turning point in the lore & a lot of current players wish they'd been around to play in it, plus Bungie did a lot better job getting an over-arcing narrative with Destiny 2.
For the Puppies! Iconic line aside, that entire trailer is a perfect excuse to try and push for a Destiny television show. It’s got everything you could ever want. Gun, action, great music, lawn gnome blowing up, Cayde-6. It’s a great way to expand series lore too
14:18 Don't forget during "Taken King" the Awoken of the Reef think their Queen Mara sov is dead. Only Petra Venja "Queen's Wrath" and Variks "Scribe of Judgment" is left to lead the Reef. Although there is the Queen's obnoxious brother "Uldran sov" who went missing during the "Taken war". But in a lore tablet, it says that Uldran crashed on Mars and allowed himself to be captured by the Fallen "House of Kings".
The game is so good too. You come away with memories of triumph like: "I was there when the Vault of Glass opened. I delved into the Dark of the moon and slew a god. I hunted the House of Wolves across the stars. Fought the Taken King. And rose as the Young Wolf to light the fires of the Iron Lords." Ah, the Glory!

OK, first off, loved this video. You should really reaction to the trailers that they made for from Shadowkeep to the latest which is Lightfall (all of which were featured at the start during their showcases, and outside of that). Also Bungie is actually working on a live action series right now. However it's in the early stages. Also Nathan Fillion as Cayde-6 was only voiced by him, sadly it wasn't the actual actor in the suit (wish it had been). Also in the first trailer featuring Ghost, that was Peter Dinklage. In the Taken King video, that was the current voice of Ghost Nolan North. Also I would love it if Bungie actually when and made another live action ad for Lightfall (heck, they've now got the budget for it). However we'll see.
So if i remember correctly nothing was confirmed but with Sony's acquisition of Bungie, which gave them access to a bunch of movie stuff, and Bungie was talking to some movie Execs I believe, so we are pretty sure we will get a Destiny movie eventually but nothing was confirmed
On the discord I linked a playlist and video of the chronological order of the story as there's seasons too which build up on story in between expansions :) Can't wait for you guys to catch up to Witch Queen and light fall :)
If you're going to watch My name is Byf's big lore video, I suggest waiting until you've watched Forsaken and its seasons, since that's where the big video ends
Ngl I kinda forgot that D1 and D2 are separate games and it didn't make sense that they would be separated in schedules lol. So when I saw that TTK was two months ago with nothing new added since I thought you dropped it and I was so sad.
I played games my entire life, and Destiny have by far the best live action trailers. All of those costumes are real in game equipments. That dancing one? Is amazing, because you have some of those dance as emotes too! Destiny is so beautiful and smooth, what a game. edit: 10:11 as you can see in the dancing trailer, most of those dance moves are actual emotes that you can use in game. The clothes and armor as well. Destiny is THE game with the best trailers I know about.
So I just watched ur video reacting to the rise of iron and my god I can’t believe you guys are going to react to My Name is Byf Destiny Lore Videos like I’m literally just amazed because byf is like THE GUY I go to to learn everything about everything going on even in the background of the story and lore I can’t wait lol
Whenever u guys have time please check put Asuras Wrath. An amazing game about God's and the action scenes are amazing. Asura vs Wyzen Boss fight is really cool 😎
I like how you guys are getting involved with Destiny, one of my favorite games. You guys are always fun to watch. Speaking of games are you guys gonna try games like For Honor and Dead by Daylight. Or at least try the story mode For Honor has? Or is this something you would watch as the game play has changed over time. I'm curious
12:26 If they're going to do a live action Destiny show, I can probably see them doing it during the "Dark age", back then there wasn't the "Last City". On Earth Humanity and their society was in Ruin, Evil opertunistic Human Warlords began taking advantage of the week and Fallen/Eliskni had just Arrived at the worst time inflict destruction and suffering for Vengeance.
I could imagine a kind of show like the new Tales of the Jedi they made for Star Wars where they have a few episodes dedicated to certain stories in the universe. Seeing Zavala, Ikora, and Cayde's rise as the Vanguards and their work as a fireteam would work great just as a starting point. They could also delve into the stories of characters like Oryx and Eramis and seeing what molded them into the villains we see in game. So much potential for expanded content it's overwhelming.
You will never believe how much I miss the Zeppelin live-action trailers. I'm sure they'll never do live-action stuff like this again just due to budget concerns on the developers end, which I get, but I lament all the same.
Lol the dancing scenes weren't too far off from what to expect from the game play hahaha many have climbed to places beyond the games intended borders for the soul purpose of dancing were no one has danced before... -Handsome Dancer Coincidance- "Woaaah"
Source on that? Because last I checked they just promise none game media in general, not that it be live action. And honestly I'm doubtful it's gonna be live action, both based of some of there hires done by Bungie after the media announcement and the fact the Halo show was panned to heck and back, while animated shows based on game IP had overall done very well.
So love when you guys watch trailers for Destiny (1 and 2). your reaction to the lore and Cyde-6's way of seeing the world. Miss the guy, always asking to take him with when you went out from the Tower. Hunters like to think they go places first, but really it's the Warlocks . We are alwaqys first, but not to die. That we all leave to the Ttans (yes fighting words I know). Going to go save some puppies and the world of Destiny. Who am I kidding I'm just going to kill some Bad Guys, puppies an nuff said! So you guys have a great day and STAY SAFE.
I love how as ridiculous as these trailers can get they are technically cannon to a degree. Our player guardian is more serious, but the amount of canonical stupid shit guardians do is hilarious. Can't wait till you guys check out Destiny 2 the story and characters only get better from there. Especially some of the seasons.
I have a real love/hate relationship with these trailers. On the one hand, they're pretty fun and they definitely do the job of getting new people interested in the game. On the other hand, they really don't represent the tone of the games story, and they're what caused my favorite composer ever to be fired from Bungie, just for criticizing them (Activision and the trailers). Saying "Hey wait I spent two years of my life crafting my magnum opus of a soundtrack, we even got PAUL MCCARTNEY, and you're using Led Zeppelin? Activision overstepped their boundaries in taking over our creative license with the trailer and that's wack" was enough to get the best composer in gaming fired, AND he still had to finish work on the game, AND they tried to force him to forfeit his stocks in the company.
Jumping into enormous holes is actually a Destiny tradition. hunters can completely stop their momentum too, titans can slow it down, so any of the classes would be fine

They even make our antics apart of the lore. Players will randomly jump off the tower or dance with no music playing, so the canon reason is that we have brain damage from dying so often and being dead for so long before.
I thing they could piece together that it's apart of the game
bro.

On the discord I linked a playlist and video of the chronological order of the story as there's seasons too which build up on story in between expansions :)
Can't wait for you guys to catch up to Witch Queen and light fall :)
"For the PUPPIES !!!"
🥰 🐶
You should check out the Watchdogs 2 cinematic trailer.
I recommend the Cinematic Trailers for
Star Wars the Force unleashed 2
Plan on checking those out 😅
"If you cannot move the will of Heaven, move the power of Hell."
I'm curious

If they're going to do a live action Destiny show, I can probably see them doing it during the "Dark age", back then there wasn't the "Last City".
If you two ever do hop on D2 alot of people here would surely help you out i myself included.
I can’t wait until you see what will happen in destiny 2 and the dlcs it will be awesome
I couldn't find the videos you mention that you go through Destiny 1 and 2 cinematic and gameplay... Where could I watch it?
More Destiny let's goooo!!!!! 😁😁
I forget, have you guys seen the Gary one before now?
We haven’t checked out the live action ones before because they all pretty much have copyrighted music 🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Well then, you missed one, hehe. I'm sure you'll get to it eventually, and I look forward to that day!
I miss the live action trailers
A Destiny animated series is being done for Netflix!
Really? 😀
actually we don't know anything about a potential Destiny series, we know Bungie is interested to bring Destiny to other media, but that's about it
8:38. Crucible lobby’s be like:
💃🕺💃🕺👯
Back when Destiny was THE game to join at the time.
Lol the dancing scenes weren't too far off from what to expect from the game play hahaha many have climbed to places beyond the games intended borders for the soul purpose of dancing were no one has danced before...
-Handsome Dancer Coincidance- "Woaaah"
Bungie’s making a lot of partnerships with some media giants to try to make some live action stuff. Here’s hoping!
Source on that? Because last I checked they just promise none game media in general, not that it be live action.
And honestly I'm doubtful it's gonna be live action, both based of some of there hires done by Bungie after the media announcement and the fact the Halo show was panned to heck and back, while animated shows based on game IP had overall done very well.
all this trailers was directed by the same director of KONG and future director of Metal Gear. Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
Pew Pew and Dancing!
Looking forward to Destiny 2 🤩
