RJ is a great CEO. Down to earth, cool, calm and collected. Just executing on high level. No drama. R1T, R1S, the Amazon Van, The Rivian network, Georgia factory for R2 platform...these ain't no pie in the sky. No production hell at Rivian.
I was impressed with Volta's delivery vans when I saw it on the Fully Charged Show, where Robert got to go for a ride. Someone should take up the reins. BTW, some CEOs are the boss, while others are the reverse, a double SOB.😂
😮As far as I understand it, the (actual) reason for Volta's bankruptcy was that their battery supplier, Proterra, had gone bankrupt and Volta hadn't been able to source another battery supplier in time, probably for the right price. Sorry, but this video didn't provide the requisite context that one would normally expect from the Now You Know team.
RJ’s answer to Jesse that what drove him was to do something that would ‘impact’ the auto industry was not too bad, just not specific or clear enough, certainly not strong enough to create a driven team. It was very probably the main reason why Rivian tried to create a plush workplace, one which they hoped would keep their workers happy. Elon is both an entrepreunal genius as well as extremely lucky, mostly by creating his own luck through sheer hard work, that his everchanging plans was able to transition from a small company to scaled up money printer relentlessly. To do all this, Elon has had to be this weird, hard to understand, highly eccentric person. After spending a lot of time watching his progress, with much help from Zac and Jesse, I am of the opinion that all his many detractors are talking through their hats. None of the haters, like the notorious thunderfoot and his petty peddling channel, could achieve even 1% of what Elon’s achieved even in a million years!
I work for a company who make the parts for Volta.. its a shame to see so many stillages full of w.i.p parts for Volta. Hopefully they will get a new owner and we can get production going again.
Chargepoint disruptive, in the sense they are doing it differently than other EV chargers. Tesla is a league of their own but looks like Chargepoint might be a second place option
At least RJ hasn't become a self-centered egotistical billionaire who thinks he knows EVERYTHING like Elon. BTW, I cancelled my Cybertruck & sold my stock. Like my t-shirt says.....Elon - Hero to Zero

Tesla, Aptara, and BYD Are the 3 reliable electric. True Aptara has not made one on the road for customers yet. But, I believe they will make it.
Sad to see another electric vehicle company go bankrupt again.
In these economic times, we get to see who is swimming naked

At 9:10, he didn't say he's doing it "to be a CEO." He said he's doing it to influence the future, to innovate the automotive industry [sic]
BYD doing a good job!!
Aptera is also building their own cars. And they have to because nobody makes cars like them.

I think the comments on RJ are unfair. His answer was perfectly acceptable in my opinion. I think you’re a bit salty from the event Jesse :)

Robert Scaringe didn't say "I wanted to be a CEO"
interesting comments about Rivian. I still like the company but if i bought one of their vehicles, i would not be as big of a fan as i am in TSLA
got about half way through the first video you put up and then it was gone, someone made an oopsie?
Hey DI team, how does one go about making your show as a company? I think we’d fit the bill.
As of Q3 Tesla has taken foot off pedal and going slow and safe for the foreseeable future
