  • Gaya dominated Northeast Asia with its iron culture? The history of iron was a proud part of Korean history.
철기문화로 동북아시아를 제패했던 가야의 영광, 철의 역사는 녹슬지 않는 자랑스런 우리의 역사다.

It actually makes sense to have female warriors, with Gaya being the smallest of the four states it would mean they most likely had the smallest population. I guess it meant for them that everyone had to fight.

    Korean histories always amazes me...
If only i could travel in time i'd love to see Korea from the day it was founded
I love Silla, i love Baekje i love Gaya i haven't heard much about Goguryeo but then I've searched about unified Silla - Goryeo - Joseon - Korean Empire
I think that Baekje Silla and Goryeo are still hiding some big revelations of the past.

I wish Goryeo would have survived...only if Silla hadn't cheated & formed an alliance with China..who knows what would have happened.

No unify silla but just silla.
North- Balhe - (another Goryo;Dae joyoung found it )
South - Silla => Goryo ( Wang gun found it)

@@jonctmaga1486 I'm not sure because historical records are my only basis, I've read that during the rule of the 30th king of Silla, King Munmu of Silla, Silla dynasty became Unified Silla
he was the first ruler of the unified three kingdoms that lasted for 267 years until its fall to Goryeo in 935 during the rule of King Gyeongsun
-correct me if I am wrong

Tell you all the truth is that I never knew that Korea had female Warrior's because I always thought that Harongs were always men and not women who fought in battles I guess that I have just reasonatly learned something brand new about Korea good for them I am actually very proud of their own family members who are still definitely very much alive to this day

I learned that hwarangs originally were women but as the rule is that they picked those that were perfect in both appearance and physicality, 2 of them fought eachother and killed amongst themselves due to jealousy of one another so they changed the hwarangs to "pretty" men.

As much as I love Korean history and find this little piece of documentary interesting, I really think Arirang should pour some water into its wine and stop making such strong, assertive statements like "Gaya dominated North-East Asia". No, clearly, it didn't.

maybe they are doing the bone examination wrong and because they are short they think are women, but that happened too in Peru with the supposedly virgins of the sun, the skeletons were short so they assume it was females but it ended out they were males.
