Thanks @tjmurphy2567 Here's a no loop signal troubleshooting guide that we recently posted that you might also find useful. www.roboticmowerservices.com/post/troubleshooting-a-no-loop-signal-error-on-a-husqvarna-automower
Great tips! Have problems now this spring. Fixed it yesterday then today it flashed green again. Got it working then it stopped. Really wet soil and rained again today. Now I will swap out most of the line and get dry new connections. Will swap the base connectors to the car version. And last of all. Coming from Sweden passed Husqvarna city the other weekend I love how you pronounce Husqvarna. 😂😃😃👍
I have exactly what you are talking about not a brake but a bad connector or corrosion somewhere. I have now bought a Grimsholm ms6818 which has a signal meter. do you have any video of how to use similar tool?
This is a great video. I'm at 5 years now for my 450X, and my original green boundary wire is now failing regularly (it is NOT compatible with the Canadian climate/soil frost). Complete breaks are easy to find using the tone tester you recommended in a previous video (or even just an AM radio), but high resistance spots are murder to find. I have a large lot with a long boundary wire, so I'm at a ragged edge loop resistance right now. My local dealer lost the only guy that knew anything about Automowers, so I'm on my own to fix everything now. What tester with "the meter" are you using to find weak spots in the wire? Also, what are your thoughts on the 5.5mm "Pro" boundary wire?
Hi mate, have you found your issue yet? I have the same mower as you over here in the UK. I am tearing my hair out trying to understand why I've got the flashing blue light. I had a cable break detector on it - two different ones, all giving me a pulse. Its driving me mad. I've also ruled out the power pack as thats been tested and fine. I just don't know what to do.
@@thedigitalemotion @Digital Emotion last year I found the issue by intermittently digging up the boundary wire and probing the enclosed loop for resistance. I eventually zoned in on the problem area and replaced that section. In a few weeks the mower will come out of winter storage, and I'm dreading what shape the loop is in after a winter from hell here. Wish my post would have received a response from RMS.
Very informative - thank you. Helped much more than my robotpusher...I am sure I have the problem you explain around 10 mins. What would a good (pro) tester be to detect that? i have bought (already) the Noyafa NF-826 to walk my 800 meter perimeter wire...
We like the Armada Pro 800D but it is a bit expensive just to use now and then around home. Mastech makes some testers that work well and won't break the bank, but the issue with them is that you have to bend down or crawl along the boundary wire to get a good reading with them.
We started using the solder filled shrink wrap connectors. So far they have been holding up well. We like that they not only shrink, but they have a gel in them that also helps seal up the repaired area.
We use the Armada Pro 800D. It sends a tone through the wire and has a meter on the receiver so you can see how much the signal drops where there are partial breaks.
Meanwhile I'm at 60m ohms, but I get 19V back from powering 20V into one end of the line... Just tried to hook up an existing wiring on a house I bought last year.
anyone experience a flashing blue light ONLY when the automaker is docked? having this regular now within last week. as soon as I unlock and pull Automower away, flashing blue turns solid green, and its good to go, but because it keeps locking at docking, i'm losing valuable mow time.
Here is a troubleshooting guide that we just put out for solving no loop errors. www.roboticmowerservices.com/post/troubleshooting-a-no-loop-signal-error-on-a-husqvarna-automower
A must watch for anyone with a husqvarna automower because it's only a matter of time before you need this

This is the best way to figure out what you are actually looking for! Breaks are much easier to find than partial breaks.

This is the place to start with solving a no loop error.
Fabulous video. Proper detail but takes the time to explain.
Thank you!

Not yet. But might put some together later this season when we have more time.
@@RoboticMowerServices i hope so because its manu people who want that info.

Good stuff. Thanks. Question, what type of connector do you recommend for line breaks? And how best to protect that connection from moisture?
We started using the solder filled shrink wrap connectors. So far they have been holding up well. We like that they not only shrink, but they have a gel in them that also helps seal up the repaired area.
Excellent video ! Thankyou very much !
Glad you liked it!
thanks , you my friend, are a great educator :)
Happy to help
Do you have a recommendation on a type of boundary wire that will hold up longer than what ships with the automower? Thank you!

Have you tired a A-frame wire finder?
Can you identify what meter you are using that shows a readout for finding partial breaks?
