@Cheznikkkk Yeah. Melanie was there. A great time was had by all that night in Allentown. A bunch of us old HB guys stayed after the show hanging out for hours just shooting the breeze and telling old drum corps stories. Awesome experience!
What a beautiful story. Maybe if my school's bassline didn't think so highly of themselves, we would sound half as good as these guys. And be half as much fun.
that's the way it is with the tenor line I'm in. It's only high school, but we do like everything together. Eat, stay after school, hang in the band room and jam whenever during school, stay together during practice, all that. This is like us, times 100.
Because, as you may find with a lot of the drum corps players, they don't really have the paranoia about the "drum corps vs band" stuff that a lot of the fans seem to have. They're musicians. It's a band. It's also a drum corps. There's no problem with it.
weird...! I've seen this video before but i just now realized that I'm in the shot at 3:30 Funny thing is, I went on to march snare drum for the Blue Stars in 2010 and 4 cadets from that 2008 drumline were on our percussion staff (that's not including Aungst and Larrivee) :) FCO
2008 was my rookie year with Revolution DBC outta san antonio. we got to house with the cadets and HB once. just cool to see the inner workings.

That was at a show in Racine Wisconsin.i literally saw them do that haha.

That wasn't a feminist comment. He meant , How do they shower together use the bathroom together and room together if there's a girl on bass.
Was that the girl who played top in 06 and 07?
