You do know that Miranda Richardson is clinically insane? When the director says "cut", two men in white coats have to throw a net over her and restrain her.
An excellent selection and a worthy no.1. May I also make a case for the delightful duo of Sabina Franklin and Stacey Dorning in the otherwise forgotten "Keep it in the Family"?
Yep, she's a doll, but I'd still put the gorgeous Candy Davis at number one, she won, 'Miss Nude 1982, after all' :) . She appeared in 'Minder', 'The Comic Strip Presents', 'The Two Ronnies' and 'Cannon & Ball'. Here's s fun fact, once she left television she became a bestselling authoress of crime novels under the pseudonym of Mo Hader, a very talented lady :) .
Lysette Anthony was in a Sci-fi film called Krull where disgracefully her voice was dubbed by an American actress ? Candy Davis...wow, what a hottie that was.
Candy Davis was Miss Nude UK and also in ‘The Great British Striptease’ along with Penny Irvine who was a Yellowcoat. She also modelled for pin up artist Aslan, with her image being the blue dress girl on Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell’s guitar. Su Pollard was also in ‘Great British Striptease’ but just belts out a couple of songs and banters with Bernard Manning.
Candy Davis' ( aka Mo Hayder, neither being her birth name ) life story is incredible. The daughter of an astrophysicist she ran away from home at 16 & by 20 was a page 3 model. After her short acting career (& brief marriage) she emigrated to Japan where she taught EFL amongst other occupations. She then started writing - very successfully - violent & disturbing crime/thriller novels. In 2020 she was diagnosed with motor neurone disease & died in July 2021. R.I.P. Candy. You were utterly gorgeous.
@@diogenesagogo Still gobsmacked about this revelation after she died-Mo Hayder and Miss Belfidge were the same person. She was also the snooker streaker in the O.T.T. sketch.
Candy Davis was actually Miss Nude USA 1982, at the age of twenty, having been at college in the USA. 'Candy Davis' was her stage name as a model/actress. Her actual name was Clare Dunkel and she was born on 2nd January 1962 , in Epping, Essex. If you search online you'll actually find footage of Clare/Candy winning the Miss Nude USA 1982 beauty pageant. Totally naked, aside from a pair of candy red stilettos, she is utterly amazing dancing to Slade's rock anthem 'Get Down and Get With It'. In her later career as a crime thriller writer, under the pen name 'Mo Hayder' she was highly acclaimed. She died on 27th July 2021. RIP a highly talented and breathtakingly attractive woman 💔💔💔💔💯

Candy Davis. Best known for playing ' Miss Belfridge' in 'Are You Being Served'. At the age of eighteen, in 1980, worked as a stripper/nude dancer at London's famous Raymond's Revue Bar. 1982, at the age of twenty, beat approx. 50 other contestants to win the Miss Nude USA beauty pageant. She also appeared in the film 'The Adventures of Moll Flanders'.

I crushed hard on Felicity Kendall. I thought the prettiest woman on Are You Being Served was Penny Irving, though I was also very fond of Fleur Bennett, who played Mavis Moleterd in the spinoff.

You have my sympathies regarding your childhood and a parent who was, let's say, somewhat authoritarian specifically along ideological lines. I had a friend from school whose Dad would mark his homework, and if it wasn't up to his standard would make him do it again until it was. The school had to politely ask him not to do their job for them! There really wasn't any real need to do this second video, (although it is your channel and you can do whatever the heck you like!), but now that you have, there are a few within I'd kind of forgotten about. She's grumpy at the start of the 'date' and shoots down all of Rodney's suggestions so she clearly just was there for something to do. Still, it was set up to fail by Rodney's 'friends' telling him she liked 'bad boy's' and it went downhill from there [the script describes the look he goes for as 'Rambo Rodney!'].
