- A winter storm warning is in effect in Fargo, ND. Plows were out in full force cleaning up the city as snow continued to fall this morning. Video includes several plow scenes and a general traffic shot driving on Interstate 94.

Was in Fargo a couple of weeks ago in Blizzard conditions, they close the roads, remove stranded vehicles clear snow and away we go.Nice job.

In 1968, we moved from Minnesota (land of the Great-Frozen Farmer) and relocated in the Great Southeast. I've been "handling Winter" just fine ever since! 🤣😅😆
As a lifelong Coloradoan, I'll grab some popcorn and watch the "show". :)
@@nix4644 yeah we don't get much compared to CO or even the eastern states. But we do get wind to cause white out conditions!

Southern Minnesota girl here.. still snowing and blowing from last night. I have no idea how much we got so far.. looks like around 6-7 inches. Be careful out there North Dakotan' s.
Don't think we got as much as you...Originally said we were supposed to get 8-10", but it dropped us to 4-5" last night
Winds coming in from SD tonight so far about 7”. Was some pretty wet stuff. Now it’s colder dryer snow. Snow plows have been out today. Maybe it’s those infra structure $$. Dress for the weather y’all.

Fargo resident here. Snowed quite a bit, but honestly wasn't too bad compared to a few weeks ago. Had no problem driving to work. Plows do a great job 👍
I’m across the river in Moorhead, and it did snow quite a bit, but I’m not sure if there’s anymore spots to put the new snow eventually! It’s nice that I don’t get to shovel a driveway, but I do get to shovel a garage, although… my neighbor below me ran into their garage (which the new one is on back order) but I’m looking forward for the drywall being fixed (as they also ran into that) luckily it wasn’t the vehicle that they ran into
Everyone who isn't from areas like this always comment "Why are people out driving", "Are they insane?!"...Actually living in Fargo, and being from SD/ND my entire life, I'll tell you, just because our weather starts to look a little bad doesn't mean everything shuts down...I still have to go to work/college unless the roads are absolutely closed!!
I also realized in the last year, we are some of the only people accustomed to extremely high and low temperatures!! After the cold snap in the south last winter and the heat wave in the north last summer, it shows the Midwest is the only area in the US truly prepared/adapted for climate being the only area where the majority has both Heat and AC
And people who are from areas like this are saying to themselves "why do I live in a place that gets like this?" ;-)
@@possums1010 Haha, I either tell them...Move like most others do, or wait till next year you never know what one year to the next will throw at us!! (We've already had 2x as much snow and temperatures 20° lower than last winter) 😂😂
@@MySnicker123 yep - & after the 1st week of nice weather in the spring, we forget how bad it got - kind of like what moms say about giving birth - when it's over you forget about how bad the pain was lol!
I drove for a trucking company based in Fargo, had a driver once complaining about having to route thru the ONLY yard this company has in the winter.
I asked him where he wanted to be, his answer was he wanted to stay in the South during the winter months, I informed him that's Not the way it works, if you want to stay in the South, your best bet is to hire onto a company in the south, NOT one in IceCube North Dakota 😉😁😁😁

I got stuck at the Flying J truck stop for three days back in 98 while driving for Schneider at that time..
about two feet of snow fell less than twenty four hours...
that was one heck of experience before all this modern weather forecasting..
I love to watch the plows when their in tandem like that

I walk through this weather 5 days a week. the plows clear the roads but put it all on the sidewalks with no Sidewalk plowing for days. makes it more than 3x worse for people who walk.Drivers get over yourselves on how bad it really is as i deal with your snow and mine.

The difference is people ther know how to drive in it and dont spin out on an inch of snow and cause a traffic jam that plows cant get past to clear the roads for the idiots that cant drive in an inch of snow......
@@Bendigo1 that is true, just watch out for people that parks on the street of the neighborhood while a snowplow comes by… people are good at driving around here, there’s a lot of neighborhoods where people just park on the street and a snowplow has to drive around them making the street narrow
@@NateOnThe-Radio In a city that gets a lot of snow they should have snow routes where street parking is not allowed when snow is expected. I know spokane does that and it seems to work quite well. I know some places dont really have an option for that if parking is very limited though.
