I live in Fargo. This wasn’t even a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale. We do have people that forget to slow down at the beginning of the season though.

Looks like a typical Wisconsin highway during a snow fall . The drivers who forget to slow down cuz its no longer "dry pavement" and ya just can't speed your way from point a to point b in those conditions

I thought it was just southerners that couldn't drive in the snow ? You mean northern ice doesn't provide improved traction ? Next thing you know someone will say is "you can't wear shorts". I have a lot to learn about this winter thing, not a fan.

Cruise control will do it every time. Every other time is belief in 4-wheel drive on ice.

why is it, drivers that live in areas that are known for harsh snowy winter weather, have accidents when they get snow? I can completely understand why people that live in the south Georgia or South Carolina are not prepared and have accidents when it snows. but how can you live in an area that has about five months of winter every year and not know how to drive in the snow?
want to learn how to drive in the snow? Take your car to a large empty parking lot covered with snow. Do some donuts, do some emergency breaking, do some emergency steering, get a feel for what your car will do..
I suggest you turn off traction control and stability control in the snow as soon as you get in the car. They are a placebo for idiots.. those imperfect systems cannot replace a seat of the pants feel of what the car is going to do with a little practice
