Good news, its exploding in popularity now! You can buy H3 merch in Spencer's which means next year (2023) it'll prolly have a presence in Spirit Halloween (A brand Spencer's owns) and the following year (2024) it'll be in most stores.
Agreed. I always wanted John & Debra to do a different movie each year. The whole idea of the killing with masks was so on par with who commercialized we were becoming in the 1980s.
Master Carpenter and his THE BEST SCORE OF ALL!!! Got it?! Underrated movie and score too. I have every single ost from him and H III score is one of three the best.
this is sick!! i used to be ocd about this movie not having myers and it was the black sheep, now i love it and watch every spooky season. Such a good stand alone movie
I imagine that season of the witch doesn't have Halloween because I loved it as a standalone horror movie it was better than Halloween five resurrection and rob zombies piece of shit movies they didn't do justice to the original and i loved the soundtrack and musical stings and plot but if they never put Halloween lemme tell you they would have banked on this movie but that's showbiz
Fucking awesome my friend!! You did a great job of re-creating these masterpieces. Great choice of gear too. I decided to learn Chariots for my Halloween Synth jam this year and thought i'd see if anyone else did a cover. Trying to figure out the notes for that main sequence is fun! Cheers, I'lm gonna have to check out more of your stuff
Thanks for the comment! I'm always somewhat miffed that this movie and it's score don't get more attention. But I guess the score has no real "Main Theme", I hit that issue when planning on doing this cover. I had to arrange a medley because I couldn't just to a theme cover, like my videos prior to this one.
@@ScottAmpleford Such a great movie and a great score! I'll have to decide what gear to use for which parts on my cover of Chariots. What did you use for the main seq? Looks like a modular?
Frightfully Forgotten Yeah, it’s my Synthesizers.com modular. Great machine! I never have much trouble selecting gear as I don’t have much of it! Hopefully Behringer will bring out a Prophet 5 clone and I can further nail down that Carpenter sound, but for now my Juno 6 will have to suffice.
Frightfully Forgotten I almost had a 106 it has a bunch of features that’d be very useful but overall I just prefer the sound of the 6. I also got mine whilst they were still cheap, that helps XD
As much as I like Michael Myers I think the anthology series would have been cool if we got more stuff like this from Halloween than just Micheal Myers
That’s my modular synthesiser, it provides a plethora of sounds in this video. For the sound in question, I’m just triggering it from the gate button on the Envelope module.
This film deserves more credit..my favourite of the entire series...

Agreed. Bringing Michael wasn't worth the crappy sequels and reboots.
Halloween III - Season Of The Witch In It's Time Was My Favorite Of The Halloween Series, Cause I Loved The Music And Storyline And Characters,
hear hear
Halloween 3 is my favorite Halloween sequel and the soundtrack is one of the main reasons why!
Same!
This is awesome! Thank you for showing some love for this underrated score
“Halloween III” is the best Halloween sequel and it’s not even set around Michael Myers.
100% agree!!!!
Nice variant to the OS and smooth medley. I love Halloween III.
SHUT IT OFF!
Brilliant work, the ending especially!
Master Carpenter and his THE BEST SCORE OF ALL!!! Got it?! Underrated movie and score too. I have every single ost from him and H III score is one of three the best.
Very underrated movie. Absolutely love it
This deserves more views! Dope synths.
The ending is beautiful.
I could totally see the rendition you did of Silver Shamrock being used in the series they keep talking about.
Scott do you know if the tambourine was in the original theme?
Love this theme....you did it justice.
this is sick!! i used to be ocd about this movie not having myers and it was the black sheep, now i love it and watch every spooky season. Such a good stand alone movie
It's underrated... I wish John Carpenter kept doing his anthology...

This was awesome! Can you do a cover of “Drive to Santa Mira”? That’s my favorite track from Halloween III.
I was waiting for him to do it lol.
Yes yes yes!!! I got some of it down by ear, but I need sheet music!!!!
Awesome cover. Nice choice of underrated soundtrack and great production!
F**K YEAH AWESOME
Very cool.
Amazing work! H3 is one of the best soundtracks by Carpenter/Howarth 💪🏼
Amazing ! Will check out more of your stuff.
Sounds badass
This score has always reminded me so much of the Christine score. Clearly carpenter had a hand in both, as well as Halloween 1 and 2 of course.
Super awesome dude!! Love this score.
very well done man.
Extremely impressed!
This is the most amazing fucking thing I've ever watched/heard. Major props. Halloween 3 for life.

This is fucking amazing! Some slight imperfections in Chariots but oh well.
Not imperfections, his take. And it works perfectly.
Sensacional.

Best Halloween movie in the franchise anyway. That cover was awesome.
I just figured it out by ear.
HELLO GRANDMA PLEASE!!

I wanted to hear he opening title theme.
Sorry, I missed it out from my medley.
I wish I knew how to make synth music. It’s my dream.
молодец!
How do you do the Volca beat sequence to this theme?
Hi Scott. Any way we can arrange for you to put all your Halloween songs and escape from New York on a CD. $
Hi there.
I’d seriously love that. I’ve never released a cover on an album before and I have no idea as to the process.
@@ScottAmpleford no worries Scott! I didn't know if you could just burn it onto a CD.

Actually a cool song some michael myers vibes in there somewhere

Thank you, sounds awesome! How can I make that arpeggio? is it the Juno 6 by it self or you used an external step sequencer or arpeggiator?
Which arpeggio are you referring to?

Hey Scott, can i rent a room at your house?
