LOL! Unfortunately for the parish he was never asked to hand in his keys. He went into the church on Halloween night, opened all the doors and windows went up into the loft, set up mics, connected them to amplifiers and played this at 9p that night. LOUDLY. He was arrested for trespassing and had to pay to repair some of the stained-glass windows in the organ loft because they cracked from the soundwaves.
While I was only 6 or so when Halloween came out. I do remember seeing it. That said Halloween 2 and Friday the 13th are the 2 movies I have the most fond memories of hiding under blankets and enjoying. I LOVE the theme from Halloween II. The Halloween theme in general is easily hands down the best horror theme of all time. The Shape Hunts Allyson is an amazing addition as well.

I've always felt the main music for both Halloween and Halloween II reflected Michael's character in their respective movies. The music from the first film sounded eerie and mysterious as with Michael in that film, where he's a ghost-like, mostly in the shadows and takes his time stalking his victims before killing them. The music from the second film is a lot more intense and sinister, which again fits Michael as he's now pissed off and more focused on finishing what he started, not to mention he's more brutal as well. Awesome work on the cover 😁

@Scary Skull 1998 I think without Halloween 1, this theme wouldn't have been as impactful with it being the original. But because the task of the opening was to reassure the audience that they're watching a Halloween film, this theme really did the job well and added some new twists to the theme hinting at a change in content from the first one. That's the way I see it lol
