I went to my local Scheels and tried out the new Hoyt Ventum 33, the PSE Carbon Stealth Mach 1, and the Bowtech Revolt X. Turned out I didn't like the new Hoyt at all, the draw cycle had a huge hump in it that I couldn't get used to and it felt like I was holding a brick and hard to keep balanced and on target. The Mach 1 was priced right at $1099 but what's the point in having a carbon bow if you have to put a bunch of stuff on it to deaden the hand shock, only benefit is it's warmer than aluminum. The Revolt X drew great, held great, good string angle, awesome back wall, and quieter and faster than the other two. I walked out with a 50-60# FDE one. The bow tech came out of the paper tuning booth with big eyes and said "that Deadlock cam tech is AWESOME! That's the first time I've ever played with it before, one small turn and you were done!". Hopefully this is my last bow for a few years.
I have the BOWTECH REVOLT. Wt a hamskea rest. Trophy ridge REACT h 5 sight. Trophy ridge hitman front stabilizer and a Apex side mount Trophy ridge hitman rear stabilizer. I got mine in flat earth. I shoot Easton axis 5mm 340 spine 430 grains. I use a Conquest 7 arrow quiver.
Great video, I have the revolt x and love it. Switch from an elite answer. My bow was flawless from the paint to the machining and fit. The only thing that I was not impressed with were the factory strings. I got a lot of peep twist when the bow was new and after the string settled in, I started to get a lot of fraying. Replaced with gas gohst stings and its shoots so good now and picked up a little speed. Love the revolt x, and the deadlock cams are amazing for paper tuning.
