Thank you for the video Ash, really helpful. I’ve not long started running and was having some it band pain on my left side/knee and this has been effective in relieving the pain post run🙌🏼

Cheers Ash, just discovered your channel. I’m new to running and have been having some IT band issues which I think is partly down to lack of flexibility and mobility. So glad I’ve found your channel as I have never done any stretching or yoga before so being able to do it along with you in real time is so convenient! Hopefully this will help some of my tightness in my knee

I love this stretch as my right IT band aches a lot particularly during the night. Do you recommend any pre run it band warm ups? It’s very hilly where I live and run. Thank you Ash
I’d actually stretch your hips and glutes too Michelle and strengthen the glutes. Especially the glute medius which is right near the hip. That muscle plays a big role in IT band issues believe it or not. I have glute strength and stretch session last on here 👍🏻😊

Ash this is great thank you so much. I've already did my long run for today and your long run post run video but I will definitely be doing this practice after tomorrow's recovery run and then often after that!

Hi Ash, just found this one, but really struggled with the crossed leg thing. I can't get my legs crossed like that and sit upright😢 it's very uncomfortable. I appreciated the other exercises though 😊
It definitely sounds like you have tightness in your hips then Lesley. It will take lots of work but they will get better 👍🏻
@@RunBetterwithAsh I know my hips are really tight 😥 and for that reason I do shy away from the difficult exercises and positions, which is probably the wrong thing to do 😣
