That's great - but it's a different head you re-build. It has the small blue roller when you take it apart - but not when you've re-assembled - or am I missing something?
Dear Mr. Andy, very good question. We used two types of "Dyson Soft roller cleaner head" in this video, 1. the first part - disasembly demo with the cleaner head with small blue roller, 2. the second part - assembly demo with the cleaner head without small blue roller. Two types of Dyson soft roller cleaner head. Our strip fit the parts where soleplate, end cap and transparent cover are the same size/shape for both cleaner head.

Thanks, helped me a lot. But I think I’d just buy a whole new head next time. It was not as easy as for me as it was for you!
Slightly different for the Hardwood floor attachment but it works. Also, you need a #8 torx for the screws. Other than that it's easy to do but takes longer the first time.

This replacement strip is designed for "Dyson Soft Roller Cleaner-head" where there are 3 parts will need this plush strip (soleplate-long strip, endcap-short strip, clear cap-short-strip), we made the strip extra longer purposely with extra margin to fit and cut, in the future we will put a mark on the plush strip, for our customer to adjust during installation. we have two product link, and on the other product link, we have included option with tools, T8 torx and cross screwdrivers are the tools you will need during replacement.
What screwdriver size did you use I can’t get one to fit the screws

Is it possible to use this replacement strip for the V12 detect slim model? There is only one strip in this case and I imagine if your strip is too long it could easily be cut to the correct size. Just wanted to check if you are aware of anyone doing that?
