Personally I don’t really mind Percy and Braddock never appearing again. It shows that there were actual consequences for Sasha not being a good person

It does add a great sense of nuance to her character arc so I can be alright of them leaving Sasha for good. She definitely regretted how she treated them after Barrel’s Warhammer, and by the series end she couldn’t have the time to make things right with them and had to ask her father figure Grime to do it in her stead, which he proudly does cause he truly cares about her.
A sad reality she has to live with and hold the friendships she still has for the better.
Honestly it’s a gut punch but works wonders.
I’m really sad that we didn’t get to see the reaction of Sasha’s and Marcy’s parents when they receive the letters or an interaction with Anne. I think at least one episode should have focused on that. I mean they must haven been at least as worried as Anne’s parents and I don’t think that this one letter can explain everything to them. Plus it would have been nice to see Marcy and Sasha reconnecting with them after returning to earth.
Well the creator has said he is interest in making a movie so maybe all the questions will be answered in that

There is one other thing you didn’t mention in the video that was never explained. In Temple frogs Anne just has Marcy‘s journal even though we never saw Marcy give it to Anne. It’s a small plot hole but it still bothers me especially considering the fact Marcy‘s journal never appears again after that episode. I’m really hoping they explain how Anne got the journal when they actually release the journal in a few months

I wouldn't call it a plot hole, it's very plausible that Marcy simply gave Anne her journal to help with research on the stones or something or in case Anne found any new information when Marcy wasn't there. Sure, it would've been cool to show in an episode but it's really not super far off that Marcy simply gave it to her.

@@That_Everything_Guy I'd love that to be true, but I see a bit of problem now. Is Stanford actually a doctor? I mean, I don't remember him being refered to by any scientific title. Maybe he wrote than under a pen name after finishing college but before determining the epicenter of weirdness at Gravity Falls? Then he was absent from this world for 30 years so I think we could rule this period out (unless he wrote that in an another world and it was somehow brought to Earth before his return but that'd be crackpot as hell, although not much more than the calamity box ending up in a thrift shop with charged stones and that frog relic in an Earth museum) At the moment he's probably still busy adventuring with his brother and I don't know where he'd find the time + the book doesn't look recent. That timeline doesn't really allow for a straightforward answer as much as we'd like
@@metaphonyenjoyer4386 Although I don't agree with the theory either, it's not unusual for Ford to be referred to as 'doctor' he mentioned that he has 12 PhDs. People with a PhD are normally referred to as 'doctor'.

I don't know if it counts, but I wanted to see the return of the grubhog from season 1, I was expecting him to return at the end somehow bringing another species to fight alongside Anne since she (kind of) saved him. It would've been hilarious to see Yunnan's reaction since she's afraid of them and also the grubhog wanted to go to war. He did returned, but it was just a small cameo and I doubt many people even noticed that.
He did return, in The beggining of the end you can see him with is war buddy the eagle figthing with the resistance.
I wanted to see those southern horned frogs that turned into hulk's when they were angry.
Honestly while I have a lot of problems with season 3 my main one is that Frobo got so forgotten and sidelined and underused. Like why wasn’t he with Polly constantly after she fixed him. Like he was just stuffed in the garage after the cloak-bot defeat episode……

Another mystery that wasn't mentioned was anne's sword, it responded to her powers and glowed blue as well when she held it and even though it never appeared in the second season, it appeared in the poster and the intro. Trintonio said it was a family heirloom buy season 3 showed that he was an orphan

Maybe the sword was the only thing left to him as a baby. You know how the movie trope of giving your child a pendant before putting them in front of an orphanage and knocking on the door.
That is a possibility, but the way he framed it sounded like it was a family heirloom and what kind of orphanage would keep the sword

Perhaps someone else mentioned this, but for me, I interpreted the dr. P book as something one of the Pines (most likely dipper) wrote. Marcy flips to a page with bill cipher on it and while it’s possible that leaf came into contact with him, I just think it’s more likely that dipper would write or even publish his own book on his discoveries, including the calamity box. Just a thought idk
It's likely the reason why for the calamity box and Leif leaving instructions she was simply following from mother olm as they expected heroes yet knew nothing what kind of people to expect, but just kept passing the prophecy along.

7:00 EXACTLY! There are people who believe that Leif wrote the book, but that doesn't make sense considering the conflicting messages Hop Pop's book of "danger" and 'Dr.P's' book of "explore other worlds"!
Also, another mystery: the three gems are pink, blue, and green, and are shown/coloured as such when they are recharged in S2. Why is it, then, that any time we flashback to the box when it's in the store or when Anne opens it in the intro, the pink gem is coloured distinctly *purple?*
I think the purple color is just a coloring mistake or its because in the scene the lighting is darker
@@colindion4611 If it was a one-off, it could be believed. But it is shown purple in the flashback *multiple times, across two different seasons,* and the box when recharged has been in dark lighting before yet shown the gem as pink. Making it purple before coming to Amphibia seems to be deliberate, for some reason.

I really wish we could’ve had an episode dedicated to Sasha and Marcy’s parents. Just one 11 minute episode at least.
And I’m disappointed that Marcy was possessed for almost all of season 3. She should’ve been freed mid season 3 or early season 3B. And we needed more episodes with Sasha in the resistance before Anne and the Plantars returned
For real dude!! Marcy couldn’t of definitely gotten more screen time, She was only in 4!! Episodes in season three as Marcy… 4! 4!! 4!!!!! Like Huhh? I’ve would of liked more flashbacks of the trio and wished they showed what Marcy was doing the whole time while in the core
@@jingl3ball Guess they had to compensate for the lack of Sasha and Grime screentime in Season 2, though they overcompensated with it. Don’t think the writing staff is good at balancing screentime for both Marcy and Sasha tbh.
Plus REALLY wished we see Marcy get ACTUALLY angry or apeshit at the Core or Andrias, just once! She had every right to be furious at him in S3!
@@toadlord8594 Yeah I would pay to see that! 😅 The only time we got to see furious Marcy was that 15 second scene where Marcy tells off the core
Some other loose ends would be the grubhog, who we the viewer know... Was a KING, and the bird was taking him back to his land to prepare for war against the amphibians. That could easily be used if the series had a spinoff, maybe on that unexplored land grimm mentioned to ivy to sprig.
As well as that living turnip, sure it was a comic gag, but it WOULD still be out there.
Possibility of the Sprivy show
Man Sasha's time with the toads and Marcy's time with the Newts got HELLA shafted. The show was so dead set on only showing Anne's time in Amphibia that it completely forgot that there was THREE girls in the Calamity TRIO! XD
Another one is why is it called the calamity box this was never answered it seemed hinted out that the gems were bad even anne said it felt wrong to use it but alas it was never answered

Leif naming it because of the calamity the music box has brought unto countless worlds.
The gems were never meant to be bad as the deity stated that the gems were used as a test for amphibian kind.and really depended on who was using the gems.such as Aldrich using them to conquer whilst Anne using them to fight evil and was the first one to use them for good.
The book was made after discovery of the box. Lief named it calamity box because she saw a vision of calamity.

didn't the box show Leaf the future, she probably had prior knowledge of the future and events and was able to do that to set up the box vase and book on earth.
With Lief Planter’s book, maybe they used the stones to see the events passing. They did when they took the box from Andrias, who’s to say they didn’t do it again to tell how the prophecy would pass. Really Lief could’ve done it a few days after running away then focused on the rest of her life.
For example the box showed Lief what would happen if the box would stay in the royal family’s possession. When Lief is good and safe away from Newtopia, the box would show her a future where the box stays out of the royal family’s hands.
Fun fact about books on magic in general, most quote each other and a lot of them add on more bullshit, so it's not a stretch that Marcy being new to real magic found that and thought it was real (being right) and users of magic following earth's laws for it thinking it's just a story
On 0:13 Amphibia didn’t suffer from episode shortages due to coved. Having 3 seasons was the plan from the beginning, the show is obsessed with the number 3. There’s 3 girls, 3 gems 💎 3 races of amphibians. Having 3 seasons was the plan from the beginning. And 23ed comment, AKA next century.
Yes that is true. However, the show simply received less episodes for the season. There was supposed to be at least 20 much like the seasons beforehand.
Because both all in and the hardest thing are both very long episodes all in its like 4 episode in one go so don t be pedantic
As for owl house dana terrace stated in an interview months ago that season 3 was not cut for covid lgbt but not even budget like you believe some disney executive simply did not tougth that the show fit the disney brand because as dana stated teh show was more serielized and wanted to appeal to an older audience

To be honest, we might get at least half of these explained in the upcoming book, but yeah, who the frog is this Frog guy and is he another Amphibian god?
What if this ‘frog’ being is just a live recording of an actual frog.
This show needed more episodes cause it did feel rushed as it were. Think about it, few more eps with Darcy, a few more on Earth before the invasion, some more of the build up to the war in Amphibia and at least a couple more within the invasion of Earth, cause that was necessary.
Also we straight up do not know if its all just Newts and or Salamanders inside of The Core; we don't know if any Frogs or Toads or even Olms were part of it.

Maybe Leif Used the box with the idea of hiding it completely out of Andrias grasp, she opened a portal, landed on hearth (it sounds stupid when you consider earth 1000 years ago was crazy different, while in Amphibia Andrias pretty much kept things stale) made some friends, told them to take care of the box. Left and went home. The humans at first took the task seriously, wrote some things (that then inspired the author of the book to write its chapter), made some pottery (after all it was a fumkin talking frog who came from a portal) but then time went by, and the box ended up as a heirloom, and started losing value with each generation and eventually one of the descendants who didn't believe any of their ancestors stories found all this frog stuff on their attic and sold it all to that store, where later it would fall in Anne's hand and go back to Amphibia, completing the cycle.

I never understood the "Hop pop dies" theory, purely because most of the "foreshadowing" moments were basically "haha funny old man look at him he's old"
I think Dipper told that to Mabel off-screen. And I also think that Dr. P is Doctor Pines-Ford or Dipper.
I think the “foreshadowing” towards Hop Pop’s death were really just dark jokes. Amphibia likes making fun of death, and Hop Pop being an old man with a quite a few regrets in his life, is a natural target for the show’s dark humour.
The traveling to other worlds thing interests me in the way how one of the worlds looks like the boiling isles on the top and if that's so and they continue to make shows like toh and amphiba maybe its all one big connection! That would be awesome, and who knows maybe gravity falls is involved too I saw some little gravity fall easter eggs in amphibia so who knows.
We talk about how we never see Sasha or Marcy's parents. But, we never see Sprig and Polly's parents either. I was sure they were going to pull a twist like Leif was their mom, but she was just an ancestor. We never even see what they look like.
*MEGA SPOILER* I have a question: why anne, sasha and marcy couldn't use the calamity powers before using the gems if they already have the powers in themselves and if you think that the reason is because if they use all the power at once they could die that is incorrect because in the last episode sasha and marcy use the calamity power without problem until using it a lot so they can do it before but why didnt they could?
We never got to find out about Anne’s boyfriend. And I wish Sasha and Marcy’s folks gotten screentime. I feel like a movie would be a good idea to help answer the remaining questions

Well I see leaf possibly been captured by humans in some point after accidentally or intentionally going to earth and maybe some early humans thinking leaf is a frog God or some interdimensional creature from another world and after centuries of studying the calamity box and made a secret clut to worship its powers are something like that

Now that Amphibia is over and Owl House is ending, anyone know if there are any good cartoon shows coming out soon or are currently ongoing?
There's still Moon Girl and The Devil Dinosaur which is supposedly coming this summer besides that Kiff and Hailey's on it are coming next year and I'm looking forward on those shows!

Also, in season 2 when they first meet Marcy, Polly asks Hop Pop for a crossbow for her birthday even though it’s said later on that frogs don’t celebrate birthdays or get gifts so
amphibia had probably the best ending for a show that I've ever seen

Amphibia was done so well as far as show's with a narrative story go, almost perfect.....but not just there. The show really needed like 10 more episodes sprinkled throughout it to really wrap up everything the writers put into the show for it to be satisfying, specially when it came to Sasha and Marcy's perspectives.
I also wanna know more about how and why the Core sent so cray cray.
I believe Dr. P is one of two people.
Leif: She likely knew about The Olm Prophecy and wrote the book the way she did to lure the trio to Amphibia. But this doesn't explain why it contained Inter-Dimensional beings such as Bill Cipher (presumably more than that) and also a description of the human body on the other page. She shouldn't have this knowledge because it's presumably kept for Leviathans and other people of power. But she did know about the Moss Men so I'm not 100% sure about that claim.
The Three Stones Deity: There isn't as much evidence for this, but I feel it's the most likely. They probably made the book to end the experiment. That's why the stones were created in the first place after all. This would also explain the human anatomy chart and the Bill Cipher depictions.
Or Stanford Pines from Gravity Falls due to Curator Ponds and Frog Soos.
Another thing that I personally felt unanswered was the thing with the Grubhog and the Vulture. I really wish they went in on that more because all that we really have is just the Grubhog being some kind of lord. If we didn't have episode crunching, I'm sure this would've been answered somewhere in this last season. But overall, Amazing show and for it's 3 year run, and delay of Covid, and the episode crunching, This show really brought me back to cartoons and I'm glad it did. Just wish we got some more answers.

Tbh my biggest question is who is Dr p it's never answered in the show how he got the knowledge to the music box unless he is the deity which created the book to triggers the event of amphibians
My guess is Dipper Pines since it’s shown these worlds are all connected.
For the Dr p book there's a theory that the p stands for pines as in stanford pines cause its highly likely that he documented a book on weird or magical items on his adventures with Stanley after gravity falls

Still peeved that half of Season 3 of Amphibia was just Anne and the Plantars “Big City Greens” adventures during the first. Marcy and Sasha were completely tossed to the side until 3B.
Anne and Sasha (the only main human character still alive in Amphibia at the time) Anne and Sasha should’ve had scenes of emotional self reflecting after True Colors only had one solo episode at the time and Marcy practically out for almost the entire final season so Darcy could take over.
At least they solved the Sasha screen time problem in 3B

So the shorter season due to COVID is true. At least there were some good things in this season and the final episodes were great IMO

What I really want to know is: what happened to that yellow slug we saw in the first episode? Was it a rental, was that Bessie in her younger years or what? Also there is a theory going around that the Dr. P is either Dipper or Stanford pines from gravity falls as a few seconds before we saw a drawing of Bill cipher in the book.

When you end a series, you don’t need to answer every question people are asking. You just to need to have more answers than questions. So far, I’d say amphibia did a good job of that.
So if there's possibly a frog deity, what does that make the olms? Andrias once said "Olms have mercy". Well, olms are a species of salamander. It makes sense that newts would have a god of their own species. But if the olms are considered gods, why did Aldrich completely dismiss their beliefs about the stones? Just another unanswered mystery.

Another one would be those weird creatures during the anne and marcy sleepover episode.
a couple things I was curious on was
1. why didn't Marcy say goodbye to Maddie. they had a great episode together.
2. what was the point of bog becoming head of toad tower, only for it to be blown up a few episodes later.
3. And although I'm expecting too much from a cartoon. no police reports had to be filed for the missing kids. And Marcy and Sashas parents didn't here about Anne's return, even though there families have known each other since like kindergarten.
another thing is that one episode about the other plantars, did they ever bring back the pumpkin under their house? what about the plantar that looked like anne?
Probably yes.
They can’t leave the pumpkin because of the humanity within the pumpkin and hop pop and logged probably helped the pumpkin overcome the sadness.
It’s also alluded to that other humans have been to Amphibia before because Anne finds the CD walkmen. How did it get there? The last time the box was used was during the humans’ medieval times. So are there natural gateways that can be used?
On 6:01 that purple and brown one is the demon realm. And 24th comment.

The number 1: The Olms have Leif setting up the prophecy
Number 2: Apothocary Gary/Jeremy found the other mushroom of his kind and are happy in the background of The Hardest Thing when Polly runs 5o HP’s house
Number 3: The possibly of Sylvia’s death or a dark truth so bad that killed him later on.
Number 4: The faces of parents will be revealed later if Matt Braly the Sonic the Hedgehog fan allows the story to continue.
And finally Number 5: Olivia Sundew’s mysterious past. It is unknown of her adventures or her backstory or who is the father of her child but like number 4 the truth will be revealed of Matt decides to.
P.S. The possibility of Wallliam “Wally” Ribbitton being Ivy’s dad is spot on.
To those reading this, the other mushroom can be seen on the right in the background during the scene where Joe Sparrow is landing.
Who wrote the book? Simple, Dr. P is PINES. Ok for real idk, but knowing the universes are connected gave me some ideas.

It makes sense both of them encountered bill cipher on top of that there is Goliath and the weirdness around the country who’s to that either started writing a book after gravity falls.
Last one is obvious: Eda from the Owl House brought them to earth when she was married to Stan in Gravity Falls
The Grubhog: Am I a joke to you?
Huh, interesting and good, fair and valid points and opinions, would’ve been nice to get some answers for these things, who knows we might still get it if there will at least be some sort of last future project at some point, but for now we should be happy with what we got.
Speaking of what we got, if you would still to get a dose of Amphibia in some shape or form, then i highly recommend checking out A Witch In Wartwood, it’s a pretty interesting and entertaining read, that i think does a pretty good job with capturing the style, spirit and charm of the Actual Show, so if you’re interested, give it a read, it could be worth while.
