They played a crucial role in guiding people to safety and organizing the lifeboat evacuation.Fortunately, all passengers and crew members were eventually rescued thanks to the efforts of the South African Air Force, Navy, and other vessels that responded to distress signals.
The MTS Oceanos incident highlighted the importance of crew training, preparedness for emergencies, and the significance of prompt and responsible actions in ensuring the safety of passengers during maritime disasters.
