Thank you for this video. I agree that water logging is a big challenge with container gardening in the rain. I planted some seeds and they were not sprouting only to realize they were rotting in side the soil becauaw of too much water. The soil smells so bad , I'm conIdering moving to potting mix as a growing medium.
Good job. Spinach is also being affected by the excess rains. So I keep moving it to the shade on alternative days. Another challenge is I can't use manure tea because it will be washed away by the rains so it won't benefit the plants. As for muddy plants, mulching helps
I have historically been an over-waterer... so water is always a problem 😅 That said, my solution is using cloth bags instead of solid/hard sided containers... They are also very helpful in our constant fight against slugs and snails... 😊
