Some say that Picasso’s sexuality fueled his art, and in this first series of videos, we explore this by looking into the six most essential women throughout his life. Picasso was the most prolific artist of the 20 century. In 1932 Christian Zervos, in partnership with Pablo Picasso, published the first volumes of Picasso’s catalog raisonne, which became a massive undertaking for Zervos and a lifetime of work on this renowned artist. Christian Zervos presented 16,000 paintings and drawings in 33 volumes, and of course, we will take an in-depth look into these works. Our channel will also explore 19-century Impressionist, post-impressionist, and 20-century modern European masters, American post-war, pop, and contemporary fine art.
