    A 4148 won't help you for long as it is designed for small signal currents, not rectifying or flyback. Use a 1N4007 or UF4007 for proper diodes. The mechanics are great, I'm currently designing a simple locking mechanism for uni.

    That's a very cool project! I've never seen anyone 3D print a rivet and melt the other side flat before, but it's actually such a clever little hack!

      hello! i dont know.. this coils are from an old laser printer the voltage is 24v DC

    Diodes are WRONG. 1N4148 do not last much. Use 1N4007 instead.
    Plastic case is too wimp.
