Nice job on the rebuild! I bought a ‘92 Tequesta about 15 years ago off of the classifieds here in the US. It was the blue version with black and white paint splatters. I wanted a cool old steel mountain bike to covert into a single speed for putzing around. My biggest regret was stripping the paint off and rattle canning it white. What was I thinking??? I sold it last year to someone who was going to restore it but he never did send me an update. Oh well. They’re such beautiful bikes. Enjoy yours!
I remember the Tequesta from when I was young, I still have my Kona Kuku from 1999 that I bought when I started my first job after school.
My mate I used to go riding with had the Kona Lava Dome back in the day in purple, I used to always want a Kona, maybe that’s a future project

Thanks, yeah I recall the blue one, nice paint job that, not very common these days those ones.
Would have been much better watching this if one could actually see what they’re looking at. Please use better lighting on your next one.
