  • I never tire of emphasizing the significance of the Pentatonic Scale. It's often overlooked by beginner students who fail to grasp its importance.
If you aim to enhance your technique, incorporating various melodies using the Pentatonic Scale is an excellent approach!
In this video, I guide you through a fantastic 10-minute Alternate Picking workout. It's designed specifically for individuals seeking to refine their technique with the Pentatonic Scales.

I've been looking for something like this to expound on my stale pentatonic playing. Great lesson! These exercises will def help me transition from a more classic rock solo style player to a more metal/shredd style, but they can def be applied in other styles.

Very great and useful practice. Thank you. One comment is in some instances the overdriven backing track makes the patterns less clear than would be ideal at least for my ears. Maybe less overdrive and volume on the backing track.

I don't know. The approach of learning someone chops, licks. Anyways through the time, it is not very helpful. Just learning the raw scale im different positions is enough. The talented guys will find out what to do. The way of thanking always as guitarist is turning into a lack of innovation. theres many instruments out there. Learning different approaches just letting us into another way of inspiration.

Here’s the thing, we get some inspiration from somewhere. We don’t have to actually copy our idols, but get inspired by them. They licks came from somewhere, from some patterns, we can create our own patterns, for sure, I think everyone should do that. But understanding where those ideas are coming from is important. Thank you for watching and your great thoughts! I really appreciated it! 🙏🏻
