So a few comments, 1 it's nice to see you all don't get upset easily like drove to glacier and its closed or the road say 21 ft max ( in real life that means 25 LOL ) .2 when you all look at each other you can see you are still in love . nice to see that, as that is how I am with my wife, can't imagine life without her. I believe the key to living long and staying happy is keep the stress down and just live.
It’s impossible for EVERY park/trip to be a perfect experience, thank you for sharing the struggles too. We took a family vacation to glacier in 2017 and it was beautiful. This was before we got a camper so we stayed in Kalispell at a hotel. My favorite so far is still Zion 👍🏼 I want to go back next summer for sure! Another fun video, thanks guys!
You’re excited with me? Wow! We just got word that our LTV has a production date of December 4th! So excited! Last year, we rented an airstream class B to try it out. But we ended up feeling more comfortable to full time in the B+/C- ... five months to retirement and still young enough to enjoy it.
Happy soon to be retirement!😀 That's awesome to get the production date! We completely understand the allure of a B+ and when we are at a campsite for a couple weeks, that's when we really feel the "tightness" of a true B.
95 to snow - yikes!! We hadn’t brought winter coats with us so we hit a good Will a few weeks ago in North Dakota and picked some up. It doesn’t look like Chris likes the idea of a travel trailer! I liked our small travel trailer - it was just so Easy. You guys are so squirrel-Ed - “there’s a Ferrell dog” “ there’s a motorcycle” - I love it and you are making me laugh so hard! I LOVE you are using a paper map - I bought an atlas (much to my hubbies amusement) because I had to have the paper maps to look at! There is just something different about being able to flip through the maps. We were sad to miss out on Glacier this time - had to get to a wedding but it’s on the list! I hope you have caught up on yo sleep girl! But the yawning was hysterical! You got some beautiful scenery footage!! Thanks for pushing through and sharing your full experience! Noelle
When I was editing I also though squirrel in my head and almost put in a joke about it!😂 Weather is definitely crazy and we're glad you had fun on your last trip to ND. Thanks for watching Noelle!
I've been to glacier twice and am going again this summer. I've always gone as a backpacker, arriving by train Best way to go! You're fully immersed absolutely beautiful place. You don't need to take a gas guzzling/polluting small house there. The shuttles are wonderful, take you to all parts of the park, you can watch the scenery instead of white- knuckling it over the pass, and you're not polluting the environment. There are other reasons to go low profile but I'll quit here. Enjoy, don't destroy. ❤ 19:14
Here’s our August 2018 Glacier NP adventure.... I booked the last tiny home in St. Mary’s (eastern entrance) in March all of the other lodging was booked. Some places are fully booked a year in advance. We are traveling in a Corvette and my niece and her husband are in another car. We left Michigan and stayed in Bismarck the first night and visit Teddy Roosevelt’s NP the next morning.... 95-100 degrees. Stay in Great Falls the second night and after checking into the hotel around 10 pm, we check GNPs website and learn that the western half of the park is closed due to lightning strikes that started several forest fires. We arrived mid morning and checked out the visitor center at the entrance and at Logan’s pass, visited what we could, waterfalls, hikes, etc. and decided to depart a day earlier than planned and drive down to Yellowstone and visit what we could in a day, we left GNP at 4am and was in Yellowstone before noon. We left Yellowstone at dusk and drove most of the night to Gillette and then visited Devils Tower , Custer State Park, and western South Dakota before making the run for home. Now we need to go back to GNP and visit the western half. Maybe in 2022. Safe Travels.
I visited Glacier in late June 2016. I went from 98 in Rapid City SD, to cool & rainy for 2 of 3 days in Glacier. They had just opened Logan Pass. It was 35 up there and still had deep snow banks! I highly recommend reserving a Red Bus Tour if/when they're running. A cool way to see and learn a lot and get oriented to the best places in the park. Plus no issue parking anywhere. The day I drove myself around, many lots were full despite the rainy weather.
Leavenworth WA! I am from Washington and can give you all kind of fun towns to check out there when ever you return. Winthrop is another fun area to visit.....lots of hiking, rafting, horseback riding, bike riding.
Welcome to Washington! Yes, indeed it's still busy out there. We live on the Olympic Peninsula and spent a few days at Mount Rainier last weekend. Really busy on Saturday, but Sunday evening things settled down like in years past. Good for you guys slowing down and taking the time to visit Leavenworth. If you keep heading west across Washington, let me know if you have any questions. We have only lived on the Peninsula for 6 years, but we've experienced many wonderful places here. Thanks for all you do to educate us!
Hey there! We haven't been to Mt Rainier...looks beautiful. We are thinking about going to the Hoh rainforest as last year we only made it to Hurricane ridge. Any recommendations on the West side of Olympic area?
@@IreneIronTravels Sorry I missed this question but looks like I answered it in my comment on your last video. Unfortunately there are not many camping spots for this area listed on Campendium or iOverlander. But, the campgrounds at Mora and the Hoh are both decent and not too expensive (20 bucks). Looking at the tides, one thought would be to hit the Hoh early in the morning, then head over to Ruby Beach or Rialto for a sunset beach hike. Although, looking at the forecast, it may be hard to catch a sunset.
Chris yawn #1. Aaron: "Oop." Chris: "We're gonna keep on truckin' I don't care how tired either one of us are..." ... Chris yawn #2. Love your videos! And you two are the best couple ever period.
I hope you do give Glacier another try, and really recommend the Highline Trail hike from Logan’s Pass. We watched your video and Van Life’s video tonight - both of you in Glacier! Small world. We were in that Labor Day snow going over the Chief Joseph Pass to Cody, WY.
It IS a small world! I just checked out his video.... very peaceful and cinematic.😃 Crazy he's been in a van for almost a decade! I bet Cheif Joesoph Pass was beautiful and scary in the snow!😬
GNP is definitely one of our favs. We did it 10 years ago in a VW Westfalia when our girls were only 8 & 11yo - an absolutely blast. If you make it back, do the Highline Trail hike from Logan Pass along the continental divide out to Granite Park Chalet and then spend a night or two - it is spectacular. 8 miles out and 4 miles back via The Loop trail.
Pulling over in a small town, when you didn't plan for it while driving a Class B makes it all possible. Slightly more difficult with a travel trailer. Thanks for the videos !!
Very true! It's funny how almost two years later we are still getting more and more comfortable traveling around the country. Lot's to see. Thanks for watching!
Probably Leavenworth. Unfortunately Oktoberfest was cancelled. You two should hit Port Townsend and the rest of the Olympic Peninsula. The weathers been nice. Class B’s Rule. After 12 RVs of all types we keep coming back to the Class B. It’s the best fit for us. Our 3rd CB, a 21 AS Interstate, is on order.
Leavenworth! Yes, too bad about Oktoberfest! We haven't been to Port Towsend yet, and will check it out. We went to Olympic NP last year, but didn't make it to the other side by the Hoh rain forest. How exciting having a 21 AI on order! We actually just walked through one this week........WOW. Love the new Interstates!
We did our 5,000 mile road trip to Glacier NP from Austin, TX and got there the day after Labor Day. It was tough with all the COVID restrictions!! We went to 5 national parks on our trip and Glacier was probably the worst, however we were able to make the most of it. You would have been fine on length for going to the sun. I took my 21.75’ crew cab dually pickup, width was much more concerning than length. They have some pretty hairy spots with not a lot of room between the drop off and the rock wall and drivers on the drop off side like to hug the yellow line. Thanks for sharing your story, sorry this one didn’t work out. Glacier is truly beautiful so...next time!
That's a nice big trip! Fun. We agree that Glacier was heavily restricted this year and it was tough to fully enjoy. Good to know on your Dually making it no problem. We find the narrowness of the Sprinters to really help even if we are a tad long at almost 23 feet. NEXT TIME! 😀
Hi, we have a 23 ft class B, and plan to camp at Apgar Campground, walk to the visitor center, and hop on a shuttle next summer, hopefully. It will be our first time there! Now, an entry reservation is necessary, as well as a shuttle ticket prepaid in advance. So, no pushing limits here....this time. Lol!
Fun video! This reminds me of myself and my husband. We have a 16ft airstream and pull it around everywhere with zero plans or planning really. Most of the time everything works out great but occasionally, our lack of planning is a bust! Just gotta go with it! :)
Yeah you never know!! June 24 going to the sun closed due to another avalanche OMG!! PLANNED FOR EVER😥 So I am going back again planning was was crazy.
We were there on Sept 22-23, 2020 in our Roadtrek 190 Popular. Was that when you were there? With the continental kit our van is 21'3" and it was a little tight going past the cliffs on Going-to-the-Sun road, especially with so much traffic, there was no chance to wait and go out to the middle when the cliff wall was so close. I don't think your 22' would have been a problem, but our van is 8.5' tall and isn't your 10' (which is another limit)? We stopped at one pull off that had no other cars to get out and stretch. Immediately it filled up as other drivers must have assumed we saw wildlife or something interesting. Most people were maskless.
Hello, thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience driving on the road! We were there in the beginning of Sept so a couple of weeks earlier than you. Beautiful park and we'll have to go back!
You guys really couldn’t be any cuter! Sorry you had a rough time this go-round, but at least you rolled with the punches. Thank you for another great video!
Hey Sel! Same cameras we have been using for a little while. The "current" scene in the back of van was our Sony A6400, but we were using a key light, because the van can be dark at times. If that was the scene you were talking about that's probably why it looked a little different. We also use the Sony for the front van scenes, but the light is usually pretty good up there. Driving B roll is the Gopro 8 and hiking/walking was my Samsung s10 phone. Hope you guys are doing well!
Glacier National Park is on my bucket list so this video has been very helpful. I have to agree that the absence of planning can result in a disaster. Yosemite is also a park that planning is necessary as I hear you have to have a ticket to even get in that park, if it is not closed due to fires! Can you tell me what you use for internet on the road and how it works for uploading videos. Thanks
Hey there, thanks for watching! We don't like to plan too much but it can definitely help. We went to Yosemite last year to see the giant sequoias and they are just something everyone needs to see in person! We use a unlimited Verizon plan that they no longer offer with a jetpack modem and a MIMO antenna attached to it. Pretty simple set up and it works great for all of our work needs and the uploads to UA-cam are great.
Have been enjoying your adventures. Sorry for your mess-up with Glaciar N.P. As for the "get by" length restrictions on the Going to the Sun road, our Road Trek (similar to your Interstate) was "refused" ... and then the shuttle busses were the same Sprinter 3500 vans! (We paid for the "red car" tour for the trip over Going To The Sun Road and enjoyed ourselves.) "Shoulder season" (spring or fall) is always "iffy" for Glacier N.P. They take some time to dig out the road over the mountain in spring... and an early snow in the fall can shut them down (as you well know by now!)
That's what we thought about the shuttle as well!! We do look forward to going back and seeing more of that beautiful park. So many people say it's their favorite!! Thanks for watching!!
Too bad that you were unable to visit Glacier more! Someday when you return to the park, take the Red Bus Tour (not the shuttle). We enjoyed our driver's commentary when we rode the Bus. It was nice to enjoy the view without the distraction of driving. The driver made several stops along the Going-to-the-Sun Road so that we could enjoy all of the beauty. The Red Bus itself is interesting...1936 White Motor Company. Unfortunately, the Red Bus Tour is closed for the 2020 season. Thank you for your video!
Thank you for the suggestion! We will remember the Red Bus for next time! It would be nice to just enjoy the scenery and not have to worry about driving!
@@IreneIronTravels We did the Red Bus last summer for the first time, and it was a lot of fun. We started out with the top closed but after the first stop at Lake McDonald Lodge, the driver rolled the top back, because she said it was now above 40 and that's when she opens the roof. And it was freaking freezing the rest of the way to Many Glacier. So be prepared. Fortunately, it had warmed up considerably by the time we drove back to Apgar. Only bad thing was that my favorite Soggy Dollar Bar hat blew off my head and is probably still sailing around St. Mary's Lake. Hang on to your hats.
It is SO much fun watching your adventures! We laugh and laugh at your good sense of incredible humor. We can tell ya’ll are soul mates! So we are east coasters. I know where to “beat” the cold weather in the southeast, but I do not now anything about traveling to the “warmer” destinations in the southwest in January or February. Why not do a clip on your top ten warm weather destinations for the winter months? Very cool indeed! Keep smiling and laughing. BTW I have lost ten pounds following your meal plans!
Ahhh thank you for the nice comment! It helps to be soul mates while living in 90 sf! 😂That's a good video topic idea, thanks. We might need to ask you about the East coast when we get back over there. 10lbs!👏 That's amazing, Chris is ecstatic to hear that!
I could see on the map where I live in Canada, they were right does get very cold, sometimes -49 at worst in the winters. I hope you are enjoying the Cali sunshine right now!
Thanks for following along! We try to have fun with this and I'm glad it comes across. I literally just looked at Chris while watching this episode and said " I wonder if anyone else finds this funny. We're just weird sometimes!" Thanks for the comment!
If you head out really early and get on the road before they are checking you, your length would be fine for the drive. But, the GTS road also gets really busy and parking could be hard with length also if you wanted to do hikes or anything. Just go really early and aim to be done with the busy spots by 11 am or so.
Thanks. We figured we probably would be ok since our Sprinter is fairly narrow and not much longer than a 4 door long bed pick up. We look forward to going back and really exploring. We feel like we just didn't get to see the real Glacier!
If you go back - I have some info on my website that you might find helpful - www.wealwayswander.com. You have been really helpful in cooking tips so I would love to be able to repay the favor with something valuable that I know about the PNW. Enjoy your travels and let me know if you have any questions I might be able to help with!
Oh thanks, we'll check out your site! We are trying to plan just a "wee" bit more to maximize our fun. 😃 I'll let Chris know you like her cooking tips! Stay safe!
just a guess, but in my experience when a road is labeled with a max length like 21ft it's because of tight curves. ( like Chris ) .. on a side note Aaron, does anyone mess with you by saying your name as A-Aron lol don't know if you get it or not but funny if you do.
Another amazing enjoyable video !!! I really enjoy the your journey and I hope you two never reach your destination. The reason I really enjoy your videos , always something interesting comes up with you two. Love smiles and the 🥱 yawns from both of you. There was some very beautiful scenery and I love the small towns . So slow down and enjoy because in a blink of a eye in a new destination. Thank you for sharing this fantastic video . Be safe and be kind.
Ahhh thanks Larry!😃 Such a nice comment. We really do appreciate you watching! We are having fun on the road and this is only the beginning! Although.... two years is almost here.......
Another good one. Thanks. You guys need an attitude adjustment! (No you don't, of course.) I've had my Interstate GT for about a month and a half now, took a Labor Day weekend shakedown trip up to Mammoth (June Lake), hightailed it to Lake Tahoe the next morning to a far better campground where we met a friend in his Class A. I was lucky to find a coach to buy. I'd been researching about a year and decided on what would suit me best about the time COVID hit. As I was looking for one to buy, the market went kaboom. I feel like I got one of the few remaining ones out there. And according the Airstream dealer I bought it from, I did!. Your videos were a big contributor to my choice, and your improvements/upgrades/adjustments pretty much match my thinking as I researched, and still do, as I get out on the road. Right now it's back at the dealer, ironing out some wrinkles that showed up in the shakedown. Oh, and I left the Lake Tahoe campground and headed back south only to hear a few hours later that everything there had closed because of smoke and fire danger. Let's hope the western fires are extinguished soon. Be safe.
😂 Exiting maiden voyage! Yeah, I would say you did have pretty good timing as the inventory is very thin right now! We did just happen to see a 21 AI GT on lot near Seattle and loved seeing it! We did pause in eastern WA as the fires and smoke seemed to be everywhere. Really appreciate you watching our videos and enjoy the new coach!
The F350 we tow our 5th wheel with is 22', just too long for Going to the Sun Road :-(. It's a crew cab with a full 8' bed. Normally we love the room although parking is a bit of effort. Fortunately we've driven that road several times in smaller cars so we have not missed it completely.
We were wondering about the long bed crew cab trucks. We often compare our van to them as we are just over 22 feet. Glad you got to see the entire road and we look forward to next time!
Yea Leavenworth is our guess. Very Quaint. You guys need to at least pack some eBikes with you. A B is nice but still toooo big for all the nooks and crannies. Yea this one may not be a home run but its a solid base hit. Keep it up your doing great.
Leavenworth! We are actually in the process of checking out ebikes and are excited for the extended areas and adventures we can get to. We had fun at Glacier and look forward to next time! Thanks for watching!
We are planning to go this autumn after September 6 than the daily pass of thing expires. Were actually trying to get condo rental and work remotely for more than a month... We are planning like crazy now!!!
I’m so sorry. Glacier is my favorite national park but then again, the last time I was there was when our kids with in Elementary school - in the 1990s! Looks like the pure numbers of people were a huge part of the disappointment.
Nice video. I have a question. What does a couple do when they have an argument living in a class B? I’ve always be curious about this it’s not like one can go to another room.
Good question Henry! Chris and I are a slightly weird couple that only argued once or twice a year when we where back in a house. Working together and living in a tiny van has changed that somewhat with more little arguments or bickering... probably form stress and short tempers from all of the change. I think in a small space you are forced to "get over it" more quickly, because otherwise you are just staring and stewing over it. But, if either of us needed to really cool down we would probably go for a walk or sit outside. But, generally we do everything together and it's really nice to share this with someone you love and are fully compatible with.
lived in whitefish for 30+ years. it was a friendly, small, undiscovered ski resort town next to the most beautiful national park in the U.S. made over 100 mountain summits in Glacier park. hiked nearly every trail. fished dozens of lakes. had my share of grizzly encounters. up until 2012 or so, the park had some busy times - but you could work around them (early rising or less popular trails). then all hell broke loose...way too many people. the flathead valley exploded with newcomers. way too many. rude, arrogant, pushy, uninformed, in-your-face a-holes with big city attitudes and big city habits. the friendliness disappeared in response to that rudeness. i stayed for another 8 years and finally had enough. couldn't take it. loving Ecuador now - the people are nice. best move i ever made was leaving whitefish. stay away from whitefish and the flathead valley.....
If you guys go back! I definitely reccomend doing The trail of the Cedars & Avalanche lake hike! This year isn't great for it, but next will be much better!
That's right! We saw the museum, but it was closed that morning! Chris's brother also had a collection when he was young and she really wanted to see the museum!
Thanks, Shelley! I can picture you two on a sportser :) We are ready to get some sort of bike and are currently weighing our options. We will have something sooner than later !! Thanks for the support! - Chris
Your set up is awesome . My wife and I wanted something like what you’ve got but being that we are contractors with several heavy duty trucks a truck camper seemed to be a better choice for us.
Guys my wife and I love your videos you two are so cute and we are looking forward to doing the same o e day at least half time if not full time, question for you both? What camera do you use and what program for your editing? As well as computer? Thanks and God bless you both Brian N Marta
Hello, nice to meet ya! Thanks for watching and following along. We hope you guys do get to experience this lifestyle in some capacity...it is amazing! We use a 4 camera system now, that consists of our main camera, Sony A6400 with two lens, 16mm 1.4 and a 16mm-70mm 4.0. We also use a Gopro Hero 8, DJI Spark drone, and my Samsung S10 cell phone for B-roll and action shots. The editing software is called Filmora 9 and I use a Dell XPS 15 laptop.
Love your videos. My current idea (after selling Airstream), is to take half the $$$ and build out a 7 x 20 cargo trailer and do it right. Although, I am not crazy towing, having your home set up after exploring is a plus. Installing locks and a good tracker, so if it is borrowed, I can find it... maybe. Maybe the truck can carry a RTT at the same time... we'll see. Oh, run to the Sun... no way I would try it with a Super Duty loaded with a 7 wide truck camper. I.m sure many towing mirrors are lost on that road.
A built out cargo trailer sounds pretty cool! We have had a lot of people recommend that to us as you can do them pretty nice and pretty inexpensive too! We'll have to make sure to hit the Sun road next time!
My dad was from Montana born and raised there but moved to California after world war two. I remember as a kid going up to Montana and glacier park every summer and having the best time ever. Boy thinks I've sure changed since then now you have to have reservations and pay fees and plan way ahead. Way too many people and restrictions for me👎🏻👎🏻
Enjoyed the video! Sounds like planning is the key if you don't care for travel surprises. As you guys seem to enjoy, spontaneity is fun too; just have to go with the flow a little more. 😎
Thanks! I think when we find that perfect balance between the spontaneity and planning we will be golden! We really do have fun with just winging it as too much planning can take the fun out of it! But this trip thought us that a little bit of planning can go a long way.
Understandable! When we used to just take a couple trips a year, I loved the planning part. It was just as fun as the trip itself! But, we found it to be kind of exhausting with full time travel now and it took the fun out of it. We are trying to find our happy balance between the two. Thanks for watching!
We love traveling without specific plans! That in NO way means we are not prepared. The bumps are always the most fun part of the road! Only boring people tell stories about their perfect day! GNP is on our two year hit list ... ! Just need for the world to get healthier.
So true! We really enjoy that way also, and found planning to be the stressful part early in our travels! I think we'll find a medium place in between. GNP just felt like we missed a lot there, but we also didn't stay long. Hope you guys make it there!
You guys are awesome... I just wonder why you never show any of your workouts... all you guys do is hike etc... but Christine is jacked and I am sure she does a strength conditioning routine etc. Just curious - I figured they would show their strength conditioning workout + cardio (which they do) etc. Apart from that, they really know the right way to travel the US. Huge fan ... keep it up guys :)
Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting! You are right we need to show more of our workouts and fitness routine. The popular content on our channel is the fulltime rving and travel, but we will sprinkle in the workouts too! Thanks!😃
Good Morning ☕️ Another great video! Um....Aaron knew ?? _wags my Nono finger_ Might wanna share info with the cutie in the glasses *winks* Take Care ~ Safe Travels 🐂❤️
Good morning!😀 A little bit of planning will go a long way I think. We've gotten away with winging it, but this one got the best of us! Thanks for watching Jannie!
You will love visiting the Canadian side of the park, Watertown Lakes National Park once your medical and political crisis is over. Thanks for another great video.
Great video guys!! SO SO bummed that Glacier wasn’t what you expected. I was born and raised in Kalispell so I hate it when visitors don’t have a great experience. Like you said, hopefully next time will be better. I shared a few weeks ago that we were taking delivery on our new (to us) Airstream Interstate. We’ve had if for 3 weeks now and LOVE it!! At one point in the video, you mentioned towing behind the class B. Have you ever tried it? We’re headed towards the WA coast in a couple weeks and thinking about pulling our friends R-pod travel trailer. The towing capacity would easily handle the trailer, but just curious if you’ve had any experience pulling something behind your van. Hope you enjoyed Leavenworth. Such a fun little town! Take care!!
Oh, fun.. what a great area to grow up! We are already looking forward to going back and seeing more! We haven't towed anything ourselves, but read this Airstream article a ways back and saw a family towing a 22ft Airstream trailer with there Interstate. www.airstream.com/blog/ambassador-kevin-clabert/ So, ya I think you guys should be good! Leavenworht was great! Enjoy your new AI and the upcoming trips!
Leavenworth!!! I was there in the summer of 2018 and there was smoke everywhere. I hope your encounter was filled with clear blue skies!! Head on over to Whidbey Island. Have some Penn Cove mussels!
Going into the mountains unprepared is ignorant. Actually going anywhere unprepared is dangerous. But the mountains pose extra challenges. From wildlife to not having service and emergencies. This year with Covid makes it worse. Staying in certain areas is not the safest choice.... Hint, hint. Glad you didn't have kids with ya. Just Sayin'!! Please continue through our state and be safe.
We traveled to a National Park that 3 million people visit each year and were not going into the mountains. We are self contained in our RV and are well prepared for emergencies, wildlife and are also quite isolated. The "not planning " part is referring to the actual visiting of the park and activities we would do. Thanks for watching and for your thoughts.
@@IreneIronTravels not knowing that an entrance was closed and having to stay in the area that you where in is the not being prepared. That area is not known for its safety factor.....you kinda need to know what " area of town your camping in" especially when you just pull over and aren't in a "campsite type area" With other people around. Safety in numbers in some areas. Good luck, stay safe. Be prepared, and keep moving. Montanans love tourist that keep moving on through. PS. Glacier is the mountains ;)
@@IreneIronTravels I've been there (from Midwest). :). Keep saying that there will be a "next time!" to visit. Also was fun: - visiting Olympic NP - stayed on a lama ranch between Mt Adam and Mt Hood (got to pick a lama and walk it) - rafting
Me and my wife went through week after u did We were told To make sure we had enough gas and no tolet breaks in reservation Hiway 2 goes round glazer to west entrance part of that in reservation Enjoyed your video
@@IreneIronTravels Yes we like 80 during day 40 at night Sunshine every day thought maybe still have snow on top must had melted must had lot warm weather before we got there
The Glacier “documentary” was pretty much an epic failure, but those things are part of the “for real” equation. Note to Chris: I just lost some needed weight using the Keto low-carb regimen, and it looks like you could do the same thing. At any rate, you guys are providing us all with some very fun “ride along” experiences.
Well...this video explains why you messed up the trip. The first 14 minutes had no real content and the rest did not really provide any lessons learned or detail why the trip was messed up. Your a nice couple but this video matches your trip. Take care.
Thank you for sharing!

No worries! Thanks for the suggestions. Hoh and Ruby beach are calling to us! Thanks!
Chris yawn #1. Aaron: "Oop." Chris: "We're gonna keep on truckin' I don't care how tired either one of us are..." ... Chris yawn #2. Love your videos! And you two are the best couple ever period.
Thanks Benjamin! I didn't think Chris was gonna make it that day!😆🤣
I hope you do give Glacier another try, and really recommend the Highline Trail hike from Logan’s Pass.
Fun trip in a Westy! Thanks for the info... we definitely will be back to explore the area. Thanks for watching!
you need to check reservations for the chalets... they can be full for months in advance
Thanks!👍
Pulling over in a small town, when you didn't plan for it while driving a Class B makes it all possible. Slightly more difficult with a travel trailer. Thanks for the videos !!
Very true! It's funny how almost two years later we are still getting more and more comfortable traveling around the country. Lot's to see. Thanks for watching!
Really fun, well done video!! Your music selection made the video so enjoyable! You both are very creative!
Thank you so much! Appreciate you watching and nice comment!😀
😊 thank you! We always look forward to next time! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video as usual!! Did you guys get a new camera or filter??
You guys are the happiest 💖...I always smile watching your videos.
You are so kind! Thank you for watching!😀
@@IreneIronTravels Thanks for the info
Irene Iron Fitness Incredible camping places in the southeast starting with the Outer Banks in NC to the GA mountains!!!
I could see on the map where I live in Canada, they were right does get very cold, sometimes -49 at worst in the winters. I hope you are enjoying the Cali sunshine right now!
❄ Brrrrrrrr, winters coming! Yes, we are happy and warm in 80's right now.😎 Thanks for watching!
I was thinking Leavenworth before the word of the day. Hope you had fun!
That's right! And we did! Thanks for watching!😀
Where do you fill up for fresh water tank?
You can find fresh water at gas stations, rest stops, rv rumps, campgrounds, etc. Sometimes it's a hunt, but it gets easier as you do it😊
New subscriber and loving the videos. Love both of your humor and Chris struggling to not smile and giggle.....cracks me up. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks for following along! We try to have fun with this and I'm glad it comes across. I literally just looked at Chris while watching this episode and said " I wonder if anyone else finds this funny. We're just weird sometimes!"
Thanks for the comment!
Irene Iron Fitness well it sure does come thru, keep up the fun and trips. I enjoy it. Will be waiting for the next video. Later guys.
😀
( like Chris ) .. on a side note Aaron, does anyone mess with you by
saying your name as A-Aron lol don't know if you get it or not but funny if you do.
@@IreneIronTravels Thanks. The '21s have a lot to offer. Mine's a 2016 (2015 Sprinter).
Love Glacier but had a 22 ft Mini Winnie and took the shuttle. Glad I did with 3 girls 10, 7 and 5. LOL
Sounds like a fun time!! We look forward to going back!
We are planning to go this autumn after September 6 than the daily pass of thing expires. Were actually trying to get condo rental and work remotely for more than a month... We are planning like crazy now!!!
Sounds like a fun trip!
There’s a song about Cut Bank MT and how cold it is.
I’m so sorry. Glacier is my favorite national park but then again, the last time I was there was when our kids with in Elementary school - in the 1990s! Looks like the pure numbers of people were a huge part of the disappointment.
We've heard it is many people's favorite. We'll have to go back and see more for sure!!
Hello! Thanks, we will check out that hike for next time!😃
It happens guys! Great video.
Hey guys, thanks! You gotta roll with the punches in this life!😃
@@IreneIronTravels Ain't that the truth!
I'm guessing Leavenworth WA. We spent a couple days there and loved it. Plus my wife is a nutcracker collector and there is a great nutcracker museum.
That's right! We saw the museum, but it was closed that morning! Chris's brother also had a collection when he was young and she really wanted to see the museum!
Thanks, you guys. Waiting my Class B and I’m learning so much from you!
Exciting! Hope you don't have to wait too long! Thanks for watching!
You would love a bike to scoot around on. We had a Harley sportser and loved exploring on it. Another awesome video!! ❤
Truck campers are very cool. We could see ourselves in one! Enjoy the journey - Chris
Some days just don’t go the way you want, 😊
So true!😃
I’m not sure I could travel without planning in advance 😉
Understandable! When we used to just take a couple trips a year, I loved the planning part. It was just as fun as the trip itself! But, we found it to be kind of exhausting with full time travel now and it took the fun out of it. We are trying to find our happy balance between the two. Thanks for watching!
So many of our best trips were impromptu trips. It’s crazy what you find out there.
question , how come we only see Chris driving and not Aaron ??? she seems to handle that class C well just did know what was up
If Leavenworth is the town, I enjoyed it completely. Was planned as one night and I stayed three last summer.
Yes! Cool little town!😃
So are you in Leavenworth, Washington? That's our guess!
Yes, you're right!
We did it with our 22ft caravel and our Raptor.
Oh, wow!
Thanks!😃
What a good videos guys, thank you for sharing

Yes! Coming out on Sunday!😃
You will love visiting the Canadian side of the park, Watertown Lakes National Park once your medical and political crisis is over. Thanks for another great video.
We do look forward to visiting Canada one day! Thanks for the tip!😀
Definitely Leavenworth, WA!
Yes!😃
We haven't towed anything ourselves, but read this Airstream article a ways back and saw a family towing a 22ft Airstream trailer with there Interstate. www.airstream.com/blog/ambassador-kevin-clabert/
So, ya I think you guys should be good! Leavenworht was great! Enjoy your new AI and the upcoming trips!
Or Leavenworth?
Leavenworth! 😃
Leavenworth!!! I was there in the summer of 2018 and there was smoke everywhere. I hope your encounter was filled with clear blue skies!! Head on over to Whidbey Island. Have some Penn Cove mussels!
Leavenworth yeah! Too bad about the smoke for you...... the skies were really clear for us. Chris loves mussels! Thanks for watching!😀
Leavenworth !
🎯You're good!
@@IreneIronTravels I've been there (from Midwest). :). Keep saying that there will be a "next time!" to visit.

- visiting Olympic NP
- stayed on a lama ranch between Mt Adam and Mt Hood (got to pick a lama and walk it)
- rafting
😃 Next time!
Lama ranch sounds fun!
Leavenworth of course 🤩
Yeah!😃

Hey hey captain!😃 Thanks for watching!
Feral dog? You must be on the Rez :D
The Glacier “documentary” was pretty much an epic failure, but those things are part of the “for real” equation. Note to Chris: I just lost some needed weight using the Keto low-carb regimen, and it looks like you could do the same thing. At any rate, you guys are providing us all with some very fun “ride along” experiences.
wow telling someone to get on keto to lose weight .. not nice
Well...this video explains why you messed up the trip. The first 14 minutes had no real content and the rest did not really provide any lessons learned or detail why the trip was messed up. Your a nice couple but this video matches your trip. Take care.
Appreciate the feedback, thanks!
Terrible! You guys gave about 2 minutes worth of information in a video 22 minutes long! Terrible.
Waste of time if you want info on Glacier National Park.
😳
Leavenworth!
Yes!💃😃
