0:41 I don't understand. Obviously there's going to be a conflict if you turn right from the left side of the road. That's what the bike box (ASL) is for, is it not? Personally, I hate going across in front of the cars and I'd just weave through the traffic to the right turn lane or join that road in the right lane.
I was interested in opinions on this. I was still in the bike box and had the pedestrian not obstructed the rider in front of me, I would have got away in time and been across and into the cycle lane. I did consider moving over to the right in the box, but you definitely get cars moving off quickly behind you then, but I think I will do that in future though.
@@zeecycling Yes, you were in the bike box but you're still supposed to make right turns from the right side. I appreciate that having a car behind you through junctions is quite unnerving, but with that layout one is forced to take primary in front of the right lane. It would be far safer if there were a cycle only light that allowed cyclists to go to the cycle lane from the left while holding motor traffic.
Limebike stops for red light !!!!!!😮

Blackfriars cycle interchange doesn't make much sense travelling east to west - v dangerous.
