Yo bro! Awesome awesome review on these frames. Informative n no BS. Been looking at this awhile now coz the weight matches my frame of choice, the sabotagerc Dingo. Nice review and frame. I would transfer everything over from a GEPRC crocodile 5, as it has some flaws especially where the fc is concerned with only the single option for mounting. Cheers.

I'm interested in the quadmula siren F5 to see how it will hold up to the Nevada desert weather. I'm looking for durability for my first build. Had to do another comment because I forgot to specify the frame and features lol.
In your opinion what makes the siren F5 mini a viable option over the regular F5? Why would you choose one over the other. I'm about to pull the trigger on the siren f5 split. And I'm wondering if I should go with the mini. I run Tmotor exclusively myself. No sponsor tho
So the thing I enjoy most about the Mini vs the Standard is the fact that it is slightly smaller and lighter. I use mine for more proximity/flow style as opposed to my normal SF5 Split for bigger open field/Sbang flying. Both can do extremely well in both areas but ultimately if you are the Mr Steele style of pilot I'd recommend the Mini. It's extremely nimble. Just be advised that the Mini only works with 20x20 stacks and the normal SF5 Split is for 30x30 stacks.
@@MurdersFPV I run the tmotor mini F7 on multiple quads. So I love that stack. I fly in Alabama. Abandoned structures and landscape surfing is my style. Nothing epic like Colorado or Montana. Creeks and bluffs and the occasional abandoned factory. Not big into Sbang or flippy flops. I love the flowing landscape surfing type of freestyle. Im also all about 4s. Looks like an awesome Lil frame as soon as the fpv shops hear in oz have them I'll definitely do a build. How did the frame perform when doing snapper sbang moves I noticed the quadmula isn't true x like the apex
The Apex isn't a true X design. It's squashed just like the Quadmula frames. I used this exact quad for this Sbang video so I'd say it flies pretty great for Juicy Sbang Sbang. 😁 ua-cam.com/video/2DepzalFOBA/v-deo.html
Awesome video id love to try out the Siren F5 split! Love the arm swap simplicity and the flush top mounting bolts on the top plate! Ive lost two batteries to top plate screws 😅 you’d think button head screws wouldnt do any damage to a battery but they definitely can lol
You know what's funny, I never really thought about that in the past but I flew my OG iFlight Cidora a couple weeks ago and I ended up killing a cell on one of my "newish" Tattu R-Line V5.0 1200mah packs. Trying to see if I can get a warranty replacement from GensAce.
Siren F5 Split just seems superior in many ways, but the C-lock is a stand-out feature for an arm-breaking noobie like me. Although, hopefully it may not be the most used feature if the frame is as durable as you say ;)
The quality carbon mixed with the lighter average weight, which translates into less inertial force on impact, really makes a difference when it comes to breaks. Nothing is bullet proof of course but I've had an excellent experience considering how hard I've sent this quad. I remember the specific moment where I knew I was going to ask them about being a team pilot was when I did a Matty flip at a school and smacked hard af into the pavement ass end first and I just knew something was going to be broken. I was shocked to find the quad was fine and it just kept flying.
Good stuff man, quality content, super helpful as always 👍 I completely understand you on the OCD front 😆, it gets so bad that I fear for crashing my quads because they need to look perfect and clean, which is not a good thing when you are flying freestyle FPV, and something that I constantly need to remind myself of. Quads aren't formula 1 cars, they're more like rally cars, and I'm getting better, slowly letting go and just trying to go out and fly. If I crash then I crash, it's the only way that I'll get better.
My favorite aspect of the Vega frame was the momentum generated by it and honestly the Quadmula feels extremely fast and the momentum is wild. 1. Less expensive 2. Better resonance 3. Easier repairs 4. Better quality hardware Those are the positives in my book.
To me the curved edges on the carbon fiber is a really big deal. The double-sided camera plates is genius. It should be the standard On all frames. If you’re in a pinch and need to swap out cameras, from another quad all the more easier to do so. I’m really that.👍
I actually had this exact situation happen to me a couple weeks ago. I broke the OG DJI camera on a previous quad and all I had was a Nebula Pro. I had to awkwardly "make" longer screws to hold it by cutting some non camera plate screws with my dykes. It was dumb and the camera kept slipping on any impact, even landing. 😒
Quadmula is working on some really sick Session one piece designs. I'm super excited for the rumored GoPro Session 6. I forced Quadmula to design a one piece mount. I currently have one for the Siren F5 Split Mini now. 😁
I like the SF5 split and SF5. The way they give you 2 caps and the way the stack hardware mounts is DOPE. The camera plate is slick af. They did well
I couldn't fit the 2 caps in the split deck frame sadly

You clip the plastic tube portion of the antenna away to the desired length. Be careful not to cut the antenna wire inside.
@@MurdersFPV thank you so much! But be honest I know you get sponsored by quadmula, but I am not sure because the mini has 20x20 stack that is something I don’t really like…if this would not be the thing I would go with the quadmula but I think I probably stick to the apex again…. Seems more reliable in hard bando crashes
Any idea whats up with Quadmula being out of stock. Any eta on them. Love what you do thanks.
@73FPV they are supposed to be in stock by the end of this month.
@@MurdersFPV very cool. thank you sir.. big fan of yours. ive built 3 f5s now. you were right about them.. would you get the 3 or 3.5 , under 250 fly like a 5 in?
@73FPV either fly great, and I have had great experiences with both. The SF3 is a little easier to hit the sub 250 goal with. You may have to take a couple extra steps with the 3.5 if you want to hit that mark.
@@MurdersFPV you rock like a big hair band from the 80s. Thanks.
The Siren F5 looks really good. 👌 I would choose this one. ❤
Apex ftw
Where can I find a session mount like these or better?

Looks like an awesome Lil frame as soon as the fpv shops hear in oz have them I'll definitely do a build. How did the frame perform when doing snapper sbang moves I noticed the quadmula isn't true x like the apex
The Apex isn't a true X design. It's squashed just like the Quadmula frames.
I used this exact quad for this Sbang video so I'd say it flies pretty great for Juicy Sbang Sbang. 😁

@@MurdersFPV I saw that rippies entry that was an awesome rip cool thanks for the info I didn't know that about the apex.
@@MurdersFPV All bad 🤦🏻♂️ lol but I guess its the name of the game in this hobby
Would definitely love to learn and build my first quad!
Here's a build video I put together for this exact quad.

3:00 I haven’t broken anything. Do you break motors?
The Siren F5 Split really looks interesting. I might have an extra air unit laying somewhere. 😎 And those profile spacers are on my wishlist now 👍
I like the caps so you don't squash the TPU parts. I like the full sized split frame.
Excellent Video
Might pick one up.
If you do, I really want to know what you think. 💪
Awesome review! Is there anywhere I can buy that session mount?
The homie Mark does amazing prints and he has access to the STLs.

Good stuff man, quality content, super helpful as always 👍
I completely understand you on the OCD front 😆, it gets so bad that I fear for crashing my quads because they need to look perfect and clean, which is not a good thing when you are flying freestyle FPV, and something that I constantly need to remind myself of. Quads aren't formula 1 cars, they're more like rally cars, and I'm getting better, slowly letting go and just trying to go out and fly. If I crash then I crash, it's the only way that I'll get better.
There is a reason why that Apex is so good, split bottom plate, any improvement in design should start from there.
Right, just like the Siren F5 Split.
How about comparing with the vega frame?
Intrested in siren f5 split
My favorite aspect of the Vega frame was the momentum generated by it and honestly the Quadmula feels extremely fast and the momentum is wild.
1. Less expensive
2. Better resonance
3. Easier repairs
4. Better quality hardware
Those are the positives in my book.
@@MurdersFPV bought one on your recommendations.. might buy a siren if i dont hit jackpot.
Yea vega is quite expensive
@@tomblanckaert6055 I love Fred and his contribution to the hobby so I'm always going to be a huge supporter of Vega.
SIREN F5 split nice design🙃💯👌👍
good luck yall 🤟👽
Will the SF5 Split take an O3 Unit and camera?
Yes. Make sure to choose the O3 as your VTX option when ordering.
I read somewhere it can run 5.5” have u tried that out? (Edit)
…never mind u just said it lol
Yoo you're starting a Giveaway today too?! I just started mine for the DJI FPV! All thanks to your DJI Avata upgrade video ;)

Can we get that session Mount🤞💪😃
Quadmula is working on some really sick Session one piece designs. I'm super excited for the rumored GoPro Session 6. I forced Quadmula to design a one piece mount. I currently have one for the Siren F5 Split Mini now. 😁
Apex is more heavy but 0,5 more carbon fiber...i would like have one of thats frames 😎
Man, u can start building and selling quads👌🏾 luap fpv
For the f5 split
Great
That container it comes in looks like a chamois tube lol. Maybe it’s because it’s so clean lol.
Hah! I see it. 😜
So disappointed quadmula is not shipping here in Asia where in fact it's a Taiwan company. This is really weird.
aahh I liked how there is a 3 inch but no 3 inch :( If I win I want the 3 inch lol
Definitely stay tuned. 😉
