I got confirmation email same day, but till now I didn't get my file number and I didn't hear back from IRCC.

The five years for federal self employed starts from the date of AR , TFN or AOR.

Hello Ms. Hsssoun. Generally speaking the temporary file number represents the AOR, unless they decide to return the package to you. It's a tricky situation though.
Hi Parsai, I have received the Application Submission Receipt in which it says valid till Oct. 09. or till the decision is made by IRCC. But one of my friends also applied two months earlier but he said, he did not receive any validity date on the letter. Kindly guide.

My spouse application submitted in March 2021. I submitted with an consultant. It's been 8 months now. I didn't get Aor. Is that normal time delay to get an Aor?. I have doubt about the consultant they submitted the documents on time. Is there any way to confirm the ircc received my documents.

Ielts expire date september 9th 2019
Ircc asked for new ielts TRF on January 4th 2021.
I tried scoring/achieving the same Or higher score but unfortunately I am unable to do so.
How can I legally ask ircc to not ask me for new ielts TRF Or withdraw their ADR for new ielts TRF.

I have a temporary application number and my UCI number, can I find out about status of my case without having an account information that created by my lawyer?
My UCI number starts with the letter T and my temporary application number starts with the letter XE
and my application is start up visa
Checking the status of an application without a permanent application number is useless. At this stage they have not initiated processing.

Hello, I submitted My application ( start up visa) , and IRCC sent me temporary application number.
I know this temporary number only means that My file was received and picked up by the IRCC to evaluate if it error free or not.
my question is If my file is accepted and there is no error, will a new and different application number be sent to me or will the letter X be removed from the temporary application number beginning?
what are the PR options for someone who holds a spousal Open work permit (deriving from wife study permit) ? Can this Open Work permit holder apply for the Owner Operator LMIA and or IMP code C11 ? I got SINP nomination on May 2021
I've sent my paper based to IRCC / CIO Sydney NS & they have received on 1st June 2021, tracked by DHL international courier.
Respected Parsai, could you please tell me any estimated time that when should I expect AOR if there will be no deficiency in my send paper file.

Unfortunately, nobody can predict the processing times due to drastic changes affected by COVID-19.
U had similar case as mine.
I had applied paper based application in jan 2021.and mailed through dhl courier. It was recieved at sydney NS canada on 26th jan 2021. But till date i had not recieved any acknowledgement of reciept from cic. Still waiting for AOR.

During COVID-19 nobody can predict, but CIO has hardly issued any permanent file numbers in the past 12 months (with the exception of sponsorship applications)

They usually issue it in 60 days, but during COVID-19 pandemic nobody can predict.

They currently have pub many applications on hold. They have not announced how they plan to move forward.
