Nice idea. I already ordered a bunch of C603-967 to have on hand for just such an emergency, because parts like these are good at hiding. I always consider it is essential to have spare parts on hand - especially those easily lost, broken, or hard to get fast. But, if for some reason I don’t have one, this trick could come in handy!
PJ put out this video to derail us from discovering his top secret year long project. Please let his top secret #Lockboss product be the brass magnet we all need!
That’s a really great idea I never thought about those pins being able to work. I had some brass rods that was the same size as standard pins thickness, then used my Dremel tool as a lathe and filed it down to fit. #Lockboss
Thanks! I have lost these and found these after searching the floor and now have a better plan than just grabbing a new lock. Now, I'm all ears if you can come up with a cheap and easy replacement for the expensive miniature Primus sidebar pins that think they have a better place to be than your bench anytime you go near them... #Lockboss
Good tip for fixing a real-life situation! Luckily, the first time I lost track of one of these pins it was found on the pinning mat! Thanks, PJ! #AccessLockKeyLLC #HaulinBrass #LockBoss
Accidentally losing Manufacturer specific pins and pieces is a specialty of mine. I keep well-stocked kits because of it. You have to lose it once, though, before you think to keep extras. 😂 #lockboss

It would have to at least a four depth padlock pin if small enough to go in the hole
Great to know. I hope it dose not happen to me but im sure it will at some point #Lockboss
Not a bad hint PJ. #Lockboss
#LOCKBOSS Because of a mistake is how we learn. Either our own or someone else's.
