Just a hint. Shift and L click gives you multitude of 10 when crafting at the bench and assembler. It stacks up to 30. Have fun. And yeah, when you place a building, it cuts into the higher levels. Terraforms its own space. Handy when you get to the larger buildings. If you feel this spoils things for you, let me know. And it's funny you do what I do. Click LMB instead of E at the bench. I'm quite a way into the game, and I still do that.

Purely speculation here. I believe your drone's maximum range is from where you are operating it from, so if you went to your miner at the Iron Deposit, your drone could go X distance from you. If you launch the drone at the entrance to your habitat, your drone could go X distance from that point. So if you then ran to X distance from your habitat entrance and launched the drone from there, your drone, in one direction, could travel 2X distance from your habitat and all the way back to your habitat, but not to the other side of your habitat. Of course the risk is, the further you are from a habitat, the more O2 you need to get safely back. Unless you test out something that you did in Planet Crafter (which this game very much reminds me of) of creating a habitat as an "extension stop off point to replenish oxygen" ? (Which I do not know if that would work, but would be worth the experiment. This would be "take the materials out to where you want to drone operate from (say 60% of your oxygen remaining, build the remote habitat, see if it allows you to recover your O2 inside. If not you still have the oxygen to high-tail it back to your base. If it does work, repeat this process in all directions you want to travel at a range of 40% oxygen remaining, you'll never be too far from oxygen, and you can literally "step out at full oxygen and send the drone to collect remote materials. Setting one up near where the temperature was over 50C would allow you to be at full oxygen, step outside and send your drone into that intense heat instead of you, drone mine until you're getting low, revert from the drone and step inside.
You had me worried about you there for a moment GE. I was wondering when you were going to put it together that you could use the Drone, to go up the hill and get the stuff you couldn't.😅🥴
the game is turning out pretty good but he really needs to work on the skies. its a space game, the skies should look awesome and make it feel like you're in space. the lasers need to line up better also.
This is the game that a big wave of water would come through after a set amount of time, on the free demo. I guess they changed it up. Or just switched starter planets.
@PhailRaptor you say that but barren planets don't have water And yes I know what the game said about 0% water but that likely means usable water Those giant clouds of gasses are lakes with water

I like Planet Crafter, i like Satisfactory, this is kinda a blend of those.
This one's interesting feels like you can truly terraform the world too unlike planet crafter

Different plants have different conditions. The demo took place on the ocean planet. This one would be considered a barren planet.
