Fun little fact, there’s actually ANOTHER secret in Memento Mori! If you knock on that picture of Madame Leota, *something* will knock back from behind the wall. My mom did this last time we were at Magic Kingdom, honestly scared me a tiny bit.
So last time my husband and I went to the Tiki Room we had a male cast member wake up Jose. When he went to tap the cage the cast member went "C'mon Jose it's time to wake up! and please don't call me 'Senorita' again!" Cue Jose calling him Senorita. It got a good laugh out of the audience.
I'm genuinely curious if the bird at Walt Disney World is "Hose" and not "José". Either way, that is a hilarious story, and I bet it is also a treasured memory.
I’m super curious what your actual, personal _top_ ten secrets/details at the parks are! Like, your ten absolute favorites out of all the ones you’ve covered. There are so many really great ones
I think my favorite would have to be number 7 because every time I see the Disney characters on the mosaic it just looks so pretty. You can tell that the people did a fantastic job with hiding this secret by blending the characters in with the mosaic. I mean it took me a couple a seconds to spot Pluto at 6:05.
Can you guys imagine a revamped Tiki room? With a mantinece to the animatronics so they can move as smoothly as the country bear jamboree now will be amazing 😭❤️

Also there is another hidden detail in Memento Mori that you did not mention. It involves the painting that is there, if you knock on the painting, Madam Leota may just knock back. Which I think is pretty cool. That's my favorite hidden detail.
Extra bit about Momento Mori. If you’re lucky like we were last year, we got the opportunity to “talk” to Madam Leota in the portrait. If you see a Cast Member nearby, she might just be in there!

I love the little things that Disney puts in there to put that cherry on top to your Disney day.
The Grand Floridian fact is something I knew, because as a kid I always looked at the floor at Grand Floridian lobby! 😂
