I love blue inks.. 💙💙🩵💙💙 Diamine-Sargasso Sea. Monteverde-Horizon Blue. Namiki-Blue. Just for starters. Tsuki-yo is a sublime blue Jean blue. Iroshizuku inks do not disappoint.
@@julia-here It really is. I just love that blue! So much so I bought Nadeshiko as a place holder back when Troublemaker was so hard to get. Now both of those bottles are half way empty.
The Wet Pen Rainier Blue is like Kon Peki with the bright pink sheen turned up, and KWZ X Galen Leather Sapphire Blue is an amazing vibrant blue with a slight dual shade to fuchsia and a very well mannered silver shimmer.
Ooh! Thank you for the tip of using a clear spoon to help with the swatches. I had been using a clear cylinder shaped acrylic stamp block but I found it difficult to control, especially when the ink starts to warp the paper. I tried the clear spoon as you show here and you get total control and is so much easier to shape your swatch. But time improvement! Thanks for that!
I love Tsukiyo! I was surprised how much I love it but it leans so wonderfully green while still keeping the blue-black identity. I love bluerples: Diamine Bilbery and Lamy Crystal Azurite my favourites or the darker Herbin Bleu des Profondeurs. Pelikan Tanzanite for darker blue black. And my number one blues, it's a tie I think: Diamine Majestic Blue and Diamine Polar Glow. Beautiful shades and so well behaved. And affordable.
Thanks for sharing. Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo and R.O's Fire & Ice are both top favorites, and I always have at least one pen inked up with each of these. Wasn't familiar with POTO, looks interesting, but quite pricy. I am just checking out a sample of Rohrer & Klingner Blue Eyed Mary, and it's quite lovely. Reminds me of Waterman's Inspired Blue (another great ink).

No problem! I’ve been loving the spoon for swatching all year; it’s really been a gamechanger. Hope you enjoy and happy holidays! 💕

Haven’t heard of that Blue Eyed Mary and I need to try Inspired Blue at some point as well! Great additions! 🩵
Colorverse Nasa Blue a Drumgooles exclusive
Gorgeous! 🤌🏽
Another vote for Milky Ocean / Nadeshiko!
Nadeshiko would be in the top 10 for me absolutely! It’s so complex looking when it dries down 😍
