I grew up on foreigner and was shocked when I got in the car with my 20 year old son and he had this and jukebox hero on his playlist. Even without my complete influence he had good taste in older music. Lol
Excellent reaction!!! Lou Gramm's voice is beyond amazing!!! Your next Foreigner song should be "Urgent"!! Total banger!! Then travel their rabbit hole!! An exceptional journey!!🎵🎼🎶🥁🎤🎸🎙🎹🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
FOREIGNER was & still is one of my favorite bands! When I was 14 in the 80's I ABSOLUTELY loved FOREIGNER. Can't even express. FOREIGNER is special to me.😊😊😊😊
The 70s = my favorite musical decade. So much freakin talent! Lou Gramm went on to do some solo work in the 80s. Soooo good! 🙂💜 (Jukebox Hero, Urgent, Hot Blooded)
Giving away y age here....I was 16 when this song came out! They are awesome! My all time favorite 70's song is by the group Looking Glass "Brandy"(song)
Just go ahead and download their greatest hits “Records”… I think that is what I listen to often. When I saw them in concert about 5 years ago they were fantastic and used a school choir for “I want to know what love is”
I 1st heard the chorus in a rave song in the 90's and then M.O.P. used it a few years back.I wonder how many times it has been used, original pretty damn banging too of course
Other reactors listen to the studio versions of these rock songs without copyright issues. I think it’s better to know the studio before hearing the live version
Dirty White Boy is about Elvis. I found Foreigner being in 4 th grade & KISS. Lou Gramm is one of the best & Kelly Hanson hasdone a remarkable job keeping these songs Live. 👍
I just saw them in February at the Endymion Extravaganza in NOLA. They played ahead of Darius Rucker at the wildest private Mardi Gras party of the season.
I've never seen this performance. That was epic! 😍🤩😍🤩 My only small niggle is the background singers got a little pitchy a couple of times, but who cares when it's still this good?!. Can you tell us the name of this or link it so we can watch the original? Glad the song gave you joy. That's where it's at.
You can really just pick and choose, because Foreigner barely released a single song that ain’t good! But if you want some suggestions, long long way from home, starrider, head games, double vision, rev on the red line, Break it up!! Urgent is a killer with a killer sax solo, blue morning blue day, blinded by sience. Lou Gram, the singers solo work is also up to parr. If you want a real obscurity Lou Gram was in a short lived supergroup with vivian campbell (whitesnake, def leppard and dio) and two more. They released one album in 1991 the self titled Shadow King! Totally awesome! Check some of that out as well;))
I Love Foreigner. I Love Lou Gramm. But I cannot take the ego of Mick Jones. It's a shame he doesn't know how to be humble and not "toot" his own horn. He could take lessons from Lou in that department. Great voice of Lou never gets old!!!!
Studio version is way better! JUKE BOX HERO, DOUBLE VISION, THAT WAS YESTERDAY, I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS, WAITING FOR A GIRL LIKE YOU. So many great songs to choose from.
Sir a serious serious suggestion to you any of these great great songs by these great bands you don't want to hear it for the first time live you want to hear it right off the studio album you want to hear it right when they wrote it how it sounded in the studio you don't want it 30 years later when they're old man what I'm saying is headphones studio album for every song for the first Time reaction it's a billion times better
i know you like good music, you're very smart and you travelled a lot. So to be honest there is no way that this is the first time you heard that song.....
Yeah it's hard to find a better singer than lou Gramm. And mick jones is one of the best guitarist you will ever meet. They have so many hits. It's despicable that their not in the Rock and Roll HOF. Some of my Favorite songs are. Juke box hero, Head games, Hot Blooded and you can just keep going down the play list!
It's a crime that Foreigner has yet to be inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame. I was 16 when that album came out.

It's kind of corny.
Another example of how much better music was 60s-90s. ❤❤❤❤
like the macarana

What better to follow this with than "Hot Blooded"? Every bit as good.
Giving away y age here....I was 16 when this song came out! They are awesome! My all time favorite 70's song is by the group Looking Glass "Brandy"(song)
Lou Gramm is one of the greatest rock singers ever! This band has tons of great songs.
Foreigners 1st album is straight fire, top to bottom. EVERY song is a banger. And 80%+ of everything they did until the later 80s is fire too!
I'm a day-one Foreigner diehard Foreigner fan and I've always considered their debut album to be an instant classic.
Just go ahead and download their greatest hits “Records”… I think that is what I listen to often. When I saw them in concert about 5 years ago they were fantastic and used a school choir for “I want to know what love is”
Foreigner is one of my favorite rock bands. Jukebox Hero is one of their top songs
The surprising thing is...the studio version is even better!!
I 1st heard the chorus in a rave song in the 90's and then M.O.P. used it a few years back.I wonder how many times it has been used, original pretty damn banging too of course
Next from Foreigner needs to be Juke Box Hero, also Urgent if you enjoy saxophone.
I grew up on Foreigner and knew they could write a hook/hit.... but in my 30's I realized on top of songwriting hits the man can sing.
Love Foreigner but never heard a live recording before. This was awesome!
Foreigner is a legendary 70's an 80's rock band, they had alot of great songs, do more
Other reactors listen to the studio versions of these rock songs without copyright issues. I think it’s better to know the studio before hearing the live version
The studio version is many levels above this recording.
100 % agree. This was bloody awful-way to fast. The studio version was amazing.
studio version please
April wine, foreigner, so many 70s pop rock monsters
77 what a year debut album amazing song
Love Foreigner! Lou Gramm amazing 🎉
I learned this on the keyboard when I was younger and it's a constant theme I play at parties. So glad I grew up during this era of music.
Foreigner continues to be overlooked; the band has never even been nominated.
One of my favorites growing up and still today. Love it.
I'm no foreigner to Foreigner!!! It's been awhile, but YEA!!! Got all happy when I saw this vid on playlist!!!
Welcome to my teen years. Had this song on cassette in my car regularly back in the day.
I was at their Foreigner 4 Tour in earl 1982, when I was in college. Great memories.
Fabulous music 🎶
Yeah, you won't miss with Foreigner. They have a lot of great songs.
Jukebox Hero, Urgent, they've got a great catalog of hits and B-sides
Classic. Must be hundreds of remixes of this song.
Knew all the words to all their songs, never ever saw them on television. No TV at boarding school 🍀🇿🇦
Great Song 😍👍😊🎉
I learned of this band from a commercial that used Jukebox Hero 😊
❤❤❤
Dirty White Boy is about Elvis. I found Foreigner being in 4 th grade & KISS. Lou Gramm is one of the best & Kelly Hanson hasdone a remarkable job keeping these songs Live. 👍
Juke box hero!!!!!!!
❤❤FOREIGN!!!
One of my favourites, another is woman in chains by Tears for fears.
I just saw them in February at the Endymion Extravaganza in NOLA. They played ahead of Darius Rucker at the wildest private Mardi Gras party of the season.
9 top 10 hits...80 million sales and still not in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
This was my theme song for my first wife. Digging for gold and throwing away a fortune in feelings. Yep.
Urgent, Jukebox Hero, Dirty White Boy, the list goes on.
I've never seen this performance. That was epic! 😍🤩😍🤩 My only small niggle is the background singers got a little pitchy a couple of times, but who cares when it's still this good?!. The greatest 80s band. And there was some stiff competition.
Juke Box Hero! Studio version please
Being a fellow Brooklyn repper you should recognize the sample as used later by M.O.P. on the hood classic by the song of the same name
song came out same year as Smokey and the Bandit did ,I was 4 :)
Yeah, as said below, gotta do Urgent. Whole album is 🔥
Welcome back brother!

All I'm thinking is the story Carl has about going to their show. You know Carl from ATHF
I Love Foreigner. I Love Lou Gramm. But I cannot take the ego of Mick Jones. It's a shame he doesn't know how to be humble and not "toot" his own horn. He could take lessons from Lou in that department. Great voice of Lou never gets old!!!!
So sorry, sir! Been watchin' a long time, just now subbed. 😒 You're always gold, brother!
Peace
Studio version is way better! JUKE BOX HERO, DOUBLE VISION, THAT WAS YESTERDAY, I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS, WAITING FOR A GIRL LIKE YOU. So many great songs to choose from.
I'm not sure why you would want to listen to the live version first. The studio version is far superior and what they play on the radio.

Mommy's Dearest. 😏
Once again watching a band that's way past their prime!! Why??
