Anna popplwell is so underrated, she’s an amazing actress and I’m surprised she and the rest of her Narnia costars aren’t bigger celebrities. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was one of the highest grossing films of all time, and Reign was a huge hit

This is a very thoughtful movie offering a glimpse into the lives of a family that was so brutally snuffed out.
Anna popplewel is soooo beautiful
One of the few movies that actually dives deeper into the relationships of the Romanov siblings.
This was done beautifully. The actors and actresses were right for the roles and had amazing chemistry. As someone who has researched the Romanov family for years, I'm impressed with the accuracy. Not necessarily appearance or location-wise, but in the relationships between these siblings.
I loved that the prayers were performed as monologues. Few things are as intimate as prayers, and the most intimate thing for an actor to do on camera is speak to the camera. Alexei's disease was brought in beautifully and I cried during Gus Barry's incredible delivery of those lines.
This is film is beautiful mainly from Anna Popplewll, as well from the other girls too.
Anna Popplewell was 29 Almost 30 in this video but she looks like a 16 Year Old.

@@hansrover3492 okay so I looked back through familysearch.org (an ancestry website) and it says that Anastasia is actually my 10th cousin 4 times removed (so I was wrong, my bad) and our common ancestors are my 13th great grandparents on my dad's side: James VI and I King of Scotland, King of England and is wife Anne of Oldenburg Queen Consort of Scotland and England. They are her 9th great grandparents on her father's side. :)

Why do the daughters of the former Russian tsar have the surname Romanov and not Romanova?
They were IRL. Romanov is the Americanized or Anglicized version. But in Russia they were called (name) Nikolaevna Romanova
@windyellis8292 It indicates the male or female member of the same family. It called a patronym, I think. In other words, Marie Romanova, Alexei Romanov.
