what's more interesting about this song is that if you type: "BANGCHAN ALREADY SPOILED VENOM ON AUGUST 2020" you would get the clips of bangchan making the beat for this song while live steaming 😂so everyone was watching venom beat making without knowing it's gonna be this

Whoever thought of the plucking sounds to use with this song was on a different level. Spiderweb silks makes a plucking sounds and vibration when insects get trapped moving around. Plucking sound in this video represent spiderweb sound.

I thought you as editors might be interested in looking at more than just skz music videos. You've probably already heard about the comeback trailers. But there's another thing I admire, and that's VCRs of concerts. I suggest you check out the VCRs from the Maniac tour if you liked Venom and Maniac. There is also a VCR where they parody Guardians of the Galaxy and where they are American soccer players. And the last VCR is from the 5 star dome tour.

Venom is my absolute favorite song and I'm so glad you like it! The nasty beat, complex lyrics, and insane flow INSTANTLY had me hooked and I cannot get enough of it. It's so well produced and orchestrated and I think the MV couldn't have been any more perfect. It's an absolute masterpiece from start to finish🖤

Also, yes, - and maybe Skz confirmed this somewhere but I don't know for sure - I've seen a few Stays say that this song is about them being caught in the industry's web and they understand that they're caught but because they love what they do, they're willing to stay in the "web".

Edit: The chess was showing that he was in checkmate - basically, the goal of chess is to take the king (known as checkmate) and the shot was showing the last move before checkmate. It looks like (from what I can tell anyway) that it was I.N (black hair) checkmates Felix (blonde hair).

The story is that they are trapped in a spiderweb and they can’t get out but at the end they can escape but they don’t want to cuss they eat food that was poisoned and now they are oddenary😅

The best Kpop videos I have ever seen (keeping in mind that I am a Stay, an ARMY, and an Atiny) are IU- Love Wins All and Oneus Come Back Home. Maybe honorable mention to Ateez Halazia and Stray Kids Case 143 (which you have already seen) and Stray Kids Thunderous. Also, I don’t know if you’ve heard of DPR Ian? He was a professional Kpop music video editor who one day decided to become a Kpop star, but to this day he continues to edit his own music videos. He even writes the songs sometimes with the music video edits in mind. He was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a teenager and so his music videos have 3 main characters. DPR Ian. Mito, who represents him during his depressive episodes. And Mr. Insanity, who represents him during his manic episodes. (Mr. Insanity also has a side kick called The Green). Anyway, it’s interesting watching his videos to try to figure out which one is Ian, which one is Mito and which one is Mr. Insanity based on what his happening in the video.

If you haven't watched any of their album trailers, you really should. They often have two, a teaser trailer and a main trailer - it's the main one you want . They are sometimes lore-heavy and can be like mini movies. I HIGHLY recommend 'Stray Kids "ODDINARY" Main Trailer'. That thing is a masterpiece. The 'Stray Kids "NOEASY" Thunderous Trailer' is also amazing. If you haven't watched it, I definitely think you should watch 'Stray Kids "樂-STAR" Prologue'. It is a direct prequel to the Lalalala music video.
Honestly, I recommend watching ALL of their trailers, starting with the 'Stray Kids "I am NOT" Trailer' that is great before watching the District 9 music video.

Would love to see a guide reaction! There are a lot of good ones, but I highly recommend a series of three in-depth guides by SavagekingZ on 3racha, danceracha, and volcalracha. Each is about 20 mins long, and introduces and highlights the members based on their roles/talents. I especially love the danceracha one (about felix, hyunjin, and lee know). Tyty for this reaction to venom! I love this song! Did you catch the Last Supper references, too?❤

I would love a Skz guide vid. Best to go for the longer ones tho, the shorter ones are all older & rly aren't that informative tbh, seriously we don't mind. I haven't personally seen the newest 2024 one, but there's a great 2023 one by Teanosuga, still long but less so than the 2024 one. It was made right before 5-Star so it won't be completely up to date, but that's kinda how it goes w/ guides.

If the guide for 2024 is too long for you, than i would recommend the 2023 guide from TeaNoSuga. It's not really up to date anymore because stray kids did a lot after that guide came out but it still has good information on the individual members and of the group in general✨
