I really love how skz's mv editors match also the energy of the group. Their editing fits so well in the choreo and overall performance of skz.
The editing and video production is amazing and needs to be hyped more. The creativity and imagination of it really matches the song. They always match the stray kids’ energy so well in every video.
I was so excited for editors to react to this mv cuz damn the amount of effort, creativity, time, and money that went in to this mv is 🤌
Stray Kids blows my mind more and more each time. There is no way they are going to top this masterpiece and if they do, I may just break down crying in the next video 😂😂

the fireworks are real. they needed to get it done in one shot
I really think the fact that they said "no thank you" to green screen and filmed that cityscape in such a publicly accessible site right in the center of Seoul was a statement. They were announcing themselves in a big way, saying "we've got the budget, and we're gonna use it."
You should definitely check you their behind the scenes video that just came out today for this MV. It shows how much of this was actually practical effects, they really said "lets use a green screen as little as possible" and it is honestly crazy how much work was put into making this music video a reality!
What i love about their editing is that Bang Chan specifically makes this intricate sounds that correlates and gets visually seen in the MVs and how their choreos are built.
If you watch it with all the intricate details in mind, you can see how well the song fits in both the Music video AND choreography. Like they didn’t just make a song, they built it with choreography + music video in mind
Yes like the glass sound!!! The director heard that and translated into the music video as a mirror shattering. So thoughtful

Also the falling car is not cgi. They dropped it. And the fire in sky in the alley with the red sky is a drone on fire

Those fire crackers are real even the Car falling most of it is real. Only the helicopter, editing, and kraken are cgi though

Thanks for this. You're awesome! I just watched the making. The explosion at the back was done live. Same with the huge fire effects. Love SKZ for being experimental, rule breakers, disruptive and an overload in audio in video in a good way. Nobody in kpop is like them.

I haven't heard BIBI, but I just watched Animal Farm now and the song is literally a BOP. I'm surprised I've never heard of her before because her videos/songs get a lot of views. Ill add her to my list of reactions ❤

Idk if someone has mentioned this in the comments already but they actually set off the fireworks in the alleyway at the beginning and end of the mv while filming. Luckily, I believe the members said both required only one take

You can see in the behind the scenes video that the fireworks weren’t actually post processing but live and it was quite cool imo!
I wish skz lore was as simple as how your describing it 😭😭 its so much more complicated than it seems it messes with my head so much.

I loved your reaction. What a way to start with the whole '5 Star' Album is truly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ especially the title track S Class . The other MV's are also top tier as well: Topline, Get Lit, DLC, Flora & Fauna and Youtiful (which is fully animated). Felix is the guy in the middle (yes he is) is the one whistling at first. Hyunjin is the the one in front of glass wall that breaks, the behind it was a glimpse of their past MVs. Fun Fact: A fellow stay (@mx.confused) mention that they are actually doing more than just saying the same word over and over again with the little hand dance. They are also doing a wordplay on the words star: “byul (별)“, all: “byul-ae (별의)“, and odd: “byul-na-da
(별나다)” in Korean. They really can give a masterclass in lyricism.
SKZ have amazing music, STAY's (fandom name) biggest flex is that they create this music themselves (lyrics, composition, production) and they are so chaotic and fun as people. I hope you were able to watch the BTS for this. They all can rap, sing and dance very well and are one of the best groups at performing live in any genre with their raps, dancing, singing and transitions. I am hoping they win the MTV 2023 VMA award this year for this song. FYI: They will be performing on the show.

I mentioned Teamin in one of your MJ vids and Hyunjin, the Kid dancing in front is huge fan of Taemin and has taken lot of inspiration from him. So I'm again recommending watching some Taemin dance vids, hehe. (rec: Taemin - move, criminal, idea, advice)

You should def watch the 'making of' mv. You would enjoy it. They were on a barge in the middle of the Han, used pyro, drones, etc... and took 5 days to shoot. I would enjoy your commentary.

Im not sure what's happening, but another Stay pointed out that maybe Lee Know was spoiling us with his lives, they always start with his eyeball. Then you see a single eyeball on the monster... hmm.

Este MV tiene referencias a sus videos anteriores (God's Menu, Thunderous, Maniac). Y probablemente algun otro que no advertí. También aparecen bailando en la luna en la parte del estribillo, donde se ven "dobles" de ellos mismos, otra referencia también usada anteriormente.

3:02 us, STAY, can't follow the story either. It's one whole huge lore that goes back to 2018, sooo you probably won't understand most of it because it all is stuff that goes way back and is connected with everything that's happened on 5 years so far.
