Seriously this comeback is wild and fire. It feels very dark and horrific. It just gets better every comeback. Stray Kids be really frying pan us every time they perform. I always love how Mr. Jordan teach us the details while jamming to the song.
Hello Jordan, first I love your videos. Second, actually the song is about the fight within yourself, if you wanna be trapped in society and not be yourself just to fit in, or being trapped in your own craziness (yourself), that actually isn't being crazy or maniac, but being yourself it's just that society doesn't accept it, and that is also why you can see 2 egos fighting (Lee Know on the mirror and Lee Know walking away), and they started to accept who they are because they reached a point were they exploded from being within the expectations of society (raging hurricane), and it's when you see them playing dangerous games and enjoying and that is what they are talking about being "trapped" and not wanting to get out because they are finally being themselves. Venom is the continuation of the maniac song/story.

Both are alright ways to say it, and whether your a native speaker or not, not all your sentences have to be exactly grammatically correct with every word you say and with the placement of it. She did amazing for someone who isn't a native speaker, and it all made sense.Even native speakers say sentences that aren't correct with every detail. I know she said to correct her, but not over dumb stuff like that. Again, don't be ignorant.
I kind of took venom as social standards/expectations and social media being the “venom/poison” with how it says we let ourselves be trapped and addicted. So we interpreted it in a similar way! Loved reading your perspective 🤗💙

I really like the difference from Hyujin's quiet "yeah Spider" rap to Han's (as usual) loud epic rap. It was a really nice Contrast. But also lets talk about Bang Chan's vocals though. (sputters)...I have no words.

I love all their referances to the Red Lights music video, with the mirror scene and the rope scene. also the songs are both about being trapped in love, yet they sound and feel so different.
I love how you analyzed the door closing part at the end! However, I do believe that this video is not necessarily about love but rather, it can be an obesession about something that's toxic but you still want. Could be alluded to Red Lights which is being preoccupied with things such as work..

Don't worry Jordan!! I'm an archer and at 2:28 I can tell you that if I.N were to let go of that arrow the ABSOLUTE worst thing that would happen to Bang Chan would be a small bruise (If it hits him at all). He's not pulling it back far enough to cause any damage and the tip/arrow they used is about the same ones they give 12 year olds at summer camp (in the U.S). Not to mention the way I.N is holding the string tells me that most likely he's just holding the end of the arrow between his index and middle finger and griping/pulling the string with the rest of his hand, however the arrow and string are in no way connected. That or the string was extended so when pulled back it looks real but there is not actual tention on the bow. Both simple tricks that can look very real but poses zero threat to the artists.

I think the song is about a toxic love. Because its about the other person having full control of you, i think this is the part of '' i cant feel my fingers... you got me wrapped up around your fingers''. Also, the consept of being the prey of the spider. Spiders usually suck their prey until its empty and dies. So maybe it represents a relatioship, were the other person just takes away from you and gives you nothing back in return. The venom represents the ''love'' that the other person gives you. You feel adicted to it, even if you know is a toxic love, you feel like its all you have and that its ok. You could get away from that relationship but, love makes us blind and dumb sometimes, just like poison, so you stay in that toxic relatioship. Sometimes you think about scaping but never do so. We see this when he discovers the exit at the end and just gets in again and closes the exit. Also we never see the members happy, they even fight each other in some scenes. This could mean that toxic love never brings happines, it creates a lot of violence and recentment inside. ( this is just my theory and what i understood from the MV and the lyrics )
Very interesting. Could this love be referring to their "love" for being an Idol? For some lyrics and footage would make sense to me, but maybe I'm trying to see more than it is.

Your interpretation of the meaning is so interesting, I hadn't thought of it that way! I thought Felix (the one controlling the spider) was like hunting the others and then at the Exit sign at the end he closes the door to trap them in so they can't escape!

I don't know if someone has already pointed this out, but actually the bow - arrow situation between I.n. and Bang Chan is a reference to Marina Abramovic and Ulay, two European conceptual artists that performed that in 1980! I was so shocked when I saw it, this really reflects how amazing the mv directors/writers are!
