Absolute below white belt here, but im gonna try a couple of these in my classes next week just to help with movement and to get used to moving in guard. Tjanks andcgood stuff
I recently started training consistently and I'm not connecting with submissions yet which is okay because that will come with time, experience, improving fitness, ect. I thought to myself that, instead of getting down on myself because my submission game will take time, I can focus on aspects of my game that are currently strong such as escapes, and getting into control positions. If I had to win a comp I can play the point game. Which led me to the hypothetical question of whether or not it is possible to go from white to blue belt by having an excellent point game even though ones submission game was lagging behind?
Karate > BJJ Muay Thai > BJJ Any other fighting sport > BJJ You strange some one and their friends show up, what will be the outcome: BJJ = Dead Any other sport = alive and knocked out anyone. Wait till you get roundhouse kicked with karate or Muay Thai or taekwondo’s hardened shins. No offense, but BJJ is useless.
more of this please
Awesome video. Going to try these with a sparring dummy. Thanks, Chewy!
Really enjoyed this format chewy! Keep em coming!!
