You have a 7th century book that apparently is perfect. It talks about everything from law to economics to governance. Deviating from that book will take you to hellfire. Yes, we believe it to be perfect and true that religion is a big part in our lives. However, the issue is that we aren't following that either. Everyone just picks and chooses interpretations of whatever suits the narratives, with their eyes and ears shut for any discourse.

3 of the biggest issues of Pakistan are Islamic indoctrination, dominance of the army and backward education system. Unless Pakistan cleans up these 3 things, there is no hope for it
The denial of separate electorates (instead having minority reserved seats) was Mk Gandhi's greatest contribution to India. It would have been catastrophic, plunging the government into anarchy. Having Minority Candidates still having to appeal to a diverse electorate would mean future leaders having to subtly manage concerns of all groups. This may cause dysfunction in the short run, but also causes more inclusive policymaking.

That view of progression is transgression. I suggest the people of Pakistan learn more about Islam. So they can practice it outwardly, and slowly, you will see the change in society from the ground up! We Muslims we just need to practice, submit, and trust in our LORD, and everything will be alright regardless of what happens!
I am bjp supporters here . ..Pakistan need democracy ....secularism is also important but its not that important to make country peaceful......Pakistan is dictator state ...arm chief is king of Pakistan....
Pak was founded for protection of Islam and Muslims. How can Pak not become a theocratic state? Why would anybody expect an Islamic state to be democratic?
This bro is the charecteristics of PK Muslims - of being forever stuck in the past. Whether it is partition or a 7th century religion or the glories of the past. While the present simply sucks....
It's an easy question to ask: whether Pakistan was supposed to be a democracy or dictatorship? The trickier question is: What is central to the creation of Pakistan - Islam or democracy? A convenient way to avoid that question, which people generally do, is to suggest that Islam supports democracy. That's perfectly fine. But then when the push comes to shove, political parties would seek shelter in religious values instead of democratic ethos. Another example of playing intellectual gymnastics is to confuse ordinary folks in the debate of Muslim state vs Islamic state. This works well in academia. People who voted in favour of the creation of Pakistan, or ordinary people of today, don't see that difference. Once again we come back to the original point. If there is a tussle between Islamic value vs secularism, Islamic value vs democracy, Islamic value vs any state policy, we know which value will prevail. Nobody since the creation of Pakistan has said that Islamic value can take a backseat in any matter.
Abrahamic religions like Christianity and Islam are militaristic, imperialist ideologies. They're all about unitary systems. It can't function with the notion of pluralism, which is the bedrock of democracy!
It was made in the name of Islam because a lot of Muslims left there native land not just to be in a almost same country they already left but it also cannot be secular as EU countries. Matter of fact it depends on people how they want Pakistan to be. Until They realize and made it clear that they are done with the experiments and want to be the Pakistanis they meant to be.

There is an old vedic saying in the Adwaith philosophy. Everything is just one - e.g What is darkness ? It is just absence of light - there is nothing like light seperate or darkness seperate Similarly Why is Pakistan suffering ? It is just the absence of Hindus. Please ponder on this.....Muzzamil has figured out and is much wiser. I don't have any hope for the majority of Pakistanis to understand this truth till the judgement day which is fast approaching Pakistan.
Advait vedant tries to rethink the nature of consciousness and relation between actual reality and perceived reality. It's should not be used to equate societies with metaphysical entities.
Unless we don't accept the mistakes of the founders of Pakistan, we cannot proceed further. Our problem is that we idolize the founders of Pakistan and consider them infallible. Quaid e Azam clearly played games to gain support from everyone to gain independence from British India. In one speech, he declared Pakistan as a secular state but in another speech he declared Pakistan as a state where Islamic laws will be applied, to appease Islamists in Pakistan. And unfortunately, he died so early that we couldn't decide what Pakistan is really gonna be and we are still in that phase.
The utter confusion of Pakistan. If you're created based on the theory of homeland for the followers of one religion, how can followers of other religions ever live there especially when the majority religion is Islam which doesn't accept any other religions. Political leaders in Pakistan will use religion as it is the foundation of your country. Politicians in many countries have always used religion even if the foundation of those nations is not based on religion. It is because people will follow god than a man or woman. But if the politician says he is the representative of god, people will follow him. But is the Pakistani politician honest? That is the main question. He's not and he doesn't care for the people. So a politician will always use religion but if he's not sincere, the country is doomed like in Pakistan.
Bro you need to read Dr. Istiaq Ahmad's book "Jinnah: His Successes, Failures and Role in History". You are saying in the video that Jinnah wanted to separate church from king, which has no evidence to back it other than one speech in constituent assembly as Dr. Istiaq showed in the book. Moreover if he wanted a secular liberal country then whole partition movement, massacre of Hindus and Sikhs (which btw continued even today's Pakistan) displacement of millions even "Two nation theory" just doesn't make scenes

We will probably have more issues if we legalize alcohol again. If people of a nation just happen to be of a religion, they can think of being secular. However, if a nation is created for people of particular religion, how can you expect them to be ignorant to their religion, especially when their religion dictates every aspect of their life and directs it's way as the only way of God? The fundamental basis of Pakistan is wrong, only when it changes the basis from being an Islamic republic to a secular republic that happens to house Muslims and accepts the Hindus, Sikhs at same level of citizenship; pakistan will continue to go under. appreciate you starting back from history. I agree the problem is on what basis the country was formed - religion I know i can say it in comments but you cannot, otherwise you will be banned. But on the same lines dont you think the much maligned army (ayub khan) saved the country from becoming talibanized? because if he had not intervened at that point, there were religious riots - and the mullahs/fundamentalists were already killing again based on religion just like during partition. And although he again had to placate to religious mullahs, his intervention atleast stopped from pakistan being talibanised right away. There is no point blaming leaders when the population has tasted blood with religion during partition. Until the population is again convinced that religious partition was original sin, the country will keep going in loops and comeback to religion.

Nice presentation !!! Pakistan did not produce World class, far sighted leaders like Gandhi, Nehru, Patel , Indira , Vajpayee, Modi etc, barring Mr.Jinna. Pakistan never even attempted to stand on its own feet ever since its inception and depended on the alms from the USA , middle East,China etc. The downfall of Pakistan is also due to hatred towards India / Hindus starting from the birth of a child and making children hate India with incorrect and wrong history throughout their lives. The main reason for the downfall is Kashmir. Rather than utilising the resources of the country on Education, Industries, Health , Pakistan invested more than 50% of its resources on the military only to lose all the four wars fought against India !!! Another important reason for the failure is the Islamisation of the country including Blasphemy and Sheria laws, duly forgetting their origin and Ethnic cleansing of all minorities !!!

Blaming separate electorates for our current political woes does not make much sense. I think Muzaammil was passing a causal remark not backed by evidence. Did the Muslims really voted in pre-partition elections by selecting the most religious candidate? You provide the evidence. It would also be naïve to ignore marginalization of Muslims in Hindu majority areas. This still happens in present day India. For example, did people who illegally demolished Babri Masjid faced any consequences? What about lynching on allegations of cow smuggling? Do we have an equivalent of extremist like Yogi Adityanath as CM of any province in Pakistan?
You're asking an impossible questions. A better question to ask would be did people start campaigning on the basis of Islam/being better Muslims/being the right representatives for Muslims? Yes
TBH Muslims marginalise themselves. In order to "protect" their distinct identity, they live a separate and segregated lives. That's just another name for marginalisation. If you want to mainstream yourselves, you will have to be one of the rest. That does change you into something different from what you are from today. In order to resist that they segregate themselves. And I can see this behaviour abroad as well especially in Britain. No one can help id you don't want to help yourselves. Few years ago there was a report from Sachar committee which puts Muslims at the bottom of all sections of the society. On the day I read that report, I did few comparisons and I found that Pakistani muslims are as at the bottom as Indian muslims. The real issue between both our communities is a civilizational conflict. That's the fundamental issue. Cow lynching, forced conversions, mandir/masjid demolitions are all side stories.
TBH Muslims marginalize themselves. In order to "protect" their distinct identity, they live a separate and segregated lives. That's just another name for marginalization. If you want to mainstream yourselves, you will have to be one of the rest. That does change you into something different from what you are from today. In order to resist that they segregate themselves. And I can see this behavior abroad as well especially in Britain. No one can help id you don't want to help yourselves.

Sahi baat! Jo nation bana hi religion ke basis pe ho vo kaise democratic or secular ho sakta hai!

Everything is just one - e.g
What is darkness ?
It is just absence of light -
there is nothing like light seperate or darkness seperate
Similarly Why is Pakistan suffering ?
It is just the absence of Hindus.

Unless we don't accept the mistakes of the founders of Pakistan, we cannot proceed further. Our problem is that we idolize the founders of Pakistan and consider them infallible.

As an Indian I always hated Pakistan, I still do it to some extent but that hate is not towards the normal citizen of Pakistan but the Pak Army and the government, but today when the normal citizen of Pakistan is suffering just to fill their stomach, I feel bad for you guys.

It extremely sad to see that our national identity has been purposefully attached with one's Islamic Identity :(
But how can it not be? The nation's creation is rooted in being Muslim state. Some new leader can always come along and say I'm a better muslim than [insert current leader]
@@biggusdickusss9377 yeah, but the problem is that it has been turned into such a Islamic State where the rights of minorities and women are not respected.
I must say, you are doing best.

@@Ghostrider78927 - Re how trade with IN can help PK: Today PK imports IN goods via UAE at 5 times the cost. If it traded with IN - they can for the same money get 5 time the amount of goods. More goods means lower costs. Simple enough for you? So the cost of not doing business with IN makes goods in PK in short supply and increased cost to the masses. Cars that you can get for INR 3 Lakhs (10 Lakhs PKR) - now cost 25 lakhs in PK. Simple enough for you? I can go on.... Indian IT companies can start offices in Lahore, ISL and Karachi. That means jobs forex, etc. for PK. Want More?? I guess I will stop here. All that it means is that the PK public is paying a huge price for sustaining the PK's elite's contrived, meaningless and unsustainable enemity with IN. 🙂
Bro you have thre wrong map of Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir is India’s territory.
Love your podcast though
@3.10 if you take your narration of “same tactic “ furthermore to the beginning it was “same tactics “ used by Jinnah to create Pakistan which was funded by wealthy Nawabs of Bengal and Punjab today their grand kids are using the “same tactic” now they are known as Elites
Sometimes I think if there were no Afghanistan and Indo-china relations were great, where will Pakistani get their survival from?
bro do one about Maulvi Tamizuddin case it literally shaped the future of Pakistan judiciary ,
Good idea
Shahzad, accusing Muslim League for the demand of separate electorates is biased knowing the reason of Congress's approach towards the equal share of representation.
appreciate you starting back from history.
The military was using the clergy to create the unrest to begin with.
ua-cam.com/video/ZDqAxVwTTp0/v-deo.html
Ayub Khan strengthened the clergy. He was no secular man.
We confuse peoples private beliefs with their policies. Musharaf had a Liberal lifestyle but after ZiaulHaq he promoted religious fundamentalism the most in Pakistan.
@@ThePakistanExperience Yaayyyy!!!! shahzad reads my comments!!! agree Ayub was no secular man. Never meant to say that. But atleast he stopped fundamentalists from coming to power - because that surely would have talibanized the country a lot more and a lot early. The issue was he had to placate to mullahs again to gain legitimacy - which again brings me back to the same point - populace needs to be reoriented rather than blaming leaders/institutions. And i truly appreciate you and @syed muzammil on this point. Hopefully someday the tide will turn.
@@ThePakistanExperience agree the dictators after Ayub, i have no sympathy for them. They were just using any and every shortcut to gain legitimacy - and whats easier than religion in Pakistan to gain legitimacy. It is too easy because population is still very much electrically charged with religion. Until that charge is neutralized there is no way out. (and i dont mean making them neutrals, kyunki neutrals tho janwar hote hai!!! hehehehe)
Separation of Church from the State in Pakistan? Bhai, kya bol rahe ho?
Please keep it in English, plenty of trash available in Urdu.
What you said can be seen among the common people of Pakistan. No easy soln.
Muslim state vs Islamic state new sosha by establishment 😂 that every youtube Mujahideen has latched on to.

If not secular, atleast not hindu hatred India mindset

In other words Sachar committee report is valid for Pakistani muslims as well. Don't believe me. Read the report yourselves. It's no body's business to reform yourself. It's your duty.
The real issue between both our communities is a civilizational conflict. That's the fundamental issue. Cow lynching, forced conversions, mandir/masjid demolitions are all side stories.
