Loving the series! All those people saying that artists are “lazy” should watch this video to get an idea of how complicated it is to create art : from the ideation process, to the choice of colors, mediums, size, to the actual painting. Each artwork is the result of intense thought and pouring of the artist’s soul. Thank you for showing your process. 😊
@@Umardoesart People who aren't artists. I've had some parents looking at my artwork which took me over 40 hours to do and say, "My kid can do that!". NO. You're kid can't.
one of the hardest mountains to climb as an artist is being a great colorist. There are many people who can do nice line work, some people can do nice colors on landscapes and stuff like that, but having beautiful colors and have it work together with detailed line art is HARD. So props to Kiptoe, he is a talented guy.
Dude, you could turn any of those thumbs into a MASTER CREATION. Your characters and color pallet always wins with me. The style of your art is amazing and I can't wait for that next short story video you are putting together. Nice work

It's incredible how talented you are and how your mind works!!! Thanks Matt...and all the best to you. You're a winner baby!!! :-). Cheers from stinking hot Fl and a Happy Memorial Day wkend!!
It wasn't until recently I found out that at the heart of most paintings is a sketch. I had always thought people just knew where to lay the paint, I just couldn't imagine how some artist created such beautiful paintings
This is so amazing, thank you for sharing your process, this really helps other artists like me to understand that it’s okay to take your time in the planning process!
This idea has blown my mind and has literally inspired me and has dragged me from the rut I've been in since my mental health breakdown a couple years ago. Kiptoe you're incredible dude, thank you so much for your indirect help.
Love how the colours are getting brighter as they follow the flow of this project, it's like the study is finding new life in he's journey. Can't wait to see this painted up.
I haven't done thumbnail sketches in forever, especially since going digital. What a great reminder that came at a time I probably needed it, and thanks for showing your process.
Your talent and skill always blows me away but equally impressive are your keen insights and ability to explain your thought process along with the creative process.
The amount of passion and work you put into not just your art, but your filmmaking also, is so enjoyable and inspiring to watch. You honestly made 14 minutes feel like 2 minutes and I loved every second. How you don't have millions of views on your videos is just another thing in this world I will never understand. I MUST GO ART NAOW! 🎨
Outstanding video! This shows your concept ideas into creation and without putting a single dab of paint down! I believe more UA-camrs can learn from this video, there is no need to "make" an entire finished painting for every video! This is so well done and you leave your audience anticipating/waiting for the next installment! See ya next time!
I am in love with the movement and flow of this peice!! The colour scheme is so well thoight out and placed so well that your eyes flow through the peice!❤❤
Your artwork crosses so many boundaries of what is possible. Your color choices are so inspiring and helpful. Your videos are perfectly edited and narrated. You are one of my favorite artists and unofficial teachers. I have been an artist too, professionally for over 30 years and yet I still learn something new everytime I watch your content. So, I wanted to give you props and say a huge thank you. 🙏 Thank you sir!❤
This man is incredible, i envy so much his skills and his lifestyle as a full time artist. Well deserved, great talent and a lot of dedication led to succes🎉 an inspiration for all us small artists on yt 💯👌🏼
THANK YOU so much for showing your process. this video & the previous companion video have been incredibly inspiring for me. i was inspired to draw some great pieces & think of things from a new perspective, after watching your last video. now this one comes along & it's a long holiday weekend -- this is gonna be great. thanks again. your work is fantastic.
Old school, I do the same. I think its good to let the next generation know because my friend who's an artist, says that next Gen doesn't do research like this. I really like the pics..ppl don't relize how much work is put in when doing art work. Great work! Thanks for the inspiration 😊
This was my first time watching your channel, and it was awesome! I really appreciate you putting the effort into sharing your process. It was a quick but intriguing ride and very informative.
Absolutely love how you’re taking us through the story but taking us through your process. Loving the series and would definitely love another one in the future. Looking forward to seeing what you create in CC. Stay on that grind! ❤❤❤
Thx u so much for inspiring me to continue one of my about-to-be-abadoned drawing and showing me that it's indeed possible to tell a thousand words in a canvas! 🙏 May ur future works be smooth
Thank you so much for sharing your thought process and design progression with us. Not many artists do this and I love it! Can’t wait for what is to come.
awesome triple BC. sound assessment of the energy (and chances) near the end, though i of course hope for the three. I airlayer relatively rarely but it is inspiring to see you getting after it. 😎
Good job. The thumbnails remind me of my graphic design job at a Utah coins/badge company where police department clients and state departments all wanted western themed paraphernalia 😂😂 after two years, I was so sick of cowboy hats, mountains, bison, horses, trees, sunsets and cacti. 😂
Really loving this series. You have a cool way of mixing beautiful art with filming (like watching a little movie). Very inspiring plus I think it is funny/cool to hear that we have the same favorite artist KLIMT !!!!
Really nice work their kiptoe! I really appreciate seeing your process and how it all comes together Inspirational stuff brother! Keep up the good work!
I am excited to see what all three are looking like. I really liked the leprad haed with the moon in the ey...anyways it is going to come out great for sure. Soooo amazing (haven't watshed to the end jet, but I am sure) Huming birds have a deep meaning in esoteric and animal orakels they stand for wishforfilling, luck and happines. He is a messenger for love and hope.
Late to this video, but love your style and how you explain your process. While also making crazy insane art and videography. All your videos, even when you're doing a simple to camera or showing a wall when you're doing a mural, are all very film like
Fantastic !! So inspirational, love the thumbnails had to stop myself from grabbing my sketchbook until the end. Videos are great, really cool productions !!
Dude this is sick. Love peaking behind the curtain to see the method. Also KipToe said he loves film so we gotta find a way to get him in some TV shows and movies.
Lovely! Can't wait to see more. I'm loving the greens in this one. You're so great with aesthetics all around. And to note... something has been very weird about youtube noti's for a long time now. I have the bell set to ALL for you, yet nothing appeared for me until it showed as videos to watch in my newsfeed 5 days later. so frustrating.
Can you do a video about how you use procreate and utilize layers and color pallets? I’d really like to know some of your favorite tips and tricks to creating an ideation for master piece creations
I was just thinking, “I haven’t seen a new Kiptoe video in a while.” Pulled up your page, and there’s a new day-old post. Thanks, stupid UA-cam algorithm, for not showing it to me.
Can't wait to see the finished piece! I was concerned what you were saying might come true, perhaps realising the first was going to be the easiest/best. But this one looks so sick, I think it will out-do the first one
Thanks. That was awesome, fun to watch. I totally enjoy watching you create your art. I too am an artist but no where near as good as you. Thank you for sharing.
Epic series! It's very interesting to see your thumbnail process. ... I've been watching a lot of your videos from around the world lately. I think it would be cool to see you use Google Earth to revisit some of your murals around the world and see if they’re still there. I hope that wouldn’t be a bummer for people if they’re gone. I remember you mentioned in a video that the video is the work, and it’s OK if the mural itself gets painted over by the next artist who comes along.
Love it think your thought process is brilliant, but if I may, your character in the first painting is riding away from the second and the 2nd cowboy is facing toward the third, would the first look better turned around? Just a thought keep up the great work, have fun in Texas

The artwork looks amazing and totally awesome too. Thanks for sharing the process and can't wait to see it done on a canvas.
