Hello bro, That was beautiful, the The Campbell Lockers are legends , I'm a Peruvian locker, thank you very much for uploading this video, I'm from Latin America and in my country I haven't enough information, I hope someone will put subtitles in Spanish because my level of English is basic and I don't understand at all, blessings!

Absolutely wonderful, my most heartiest deepest appreciation to Don Campbellock and all of the magnificent Lockers, I thank you wholeheartedly for making my World a most joyful place to do due to your sensational entertainment abilities, Rest in sweet Heavenly peace Fred, Greg, Don and Shabba-Doo, you are all locking together up in Heaven, to Toni, Slim and Flukie Luke the 3 remaining original Lockers may you continue to be wonderfully blessed throughout all eternity. THE LOCKERS IS WHERE IT ALL ORIGINALLY STARTED, AGAIN THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH, LOVE YOU GUYS FOREVER AND ALWAYS ❤️
I always loved Slim the Robot. He had the best hair ever.. There are only 3 original LOCKERS LEFT. 4 if you count Tony GoGo WHO OFTEN FILLED IN BEFORE JOINING FULL TIME LATER ON. He had the first group the GOGO BROTHERS WHO APPEARED TO PERFORM PROFESSIONALY IN FRONT OF CROWDS BEFORE THE LOCKERS WERE TOGETHER AS A REAL TROUPE. HE ALSO WENT TO JAPAN IN 1985 AND SETTLED AND OPENED A DANCE SCHOOL TEACHING ORIGINAL LOCKING AND LOCKING WITH HIS FLAVOR. YOU MIGHT KNOW HIS SONS . THE GOGO BROTHERS WHO HAVE CARRIED ON TONY'S DANCING STYLES, AND POPING . HIS DAUGHTER ALSO DANCES.. WE LOVE TONI BASIL, FLUKY LUKE, AND SLIM THEY ARE WHATS LEFT TO CARRY ON THE NAME. WE LOST SHABBA DOO DEC. 30 2020, AND OF COURSE GREG CAMPBELLOCK JR., AND FRED RERUN BERRY, and the man who started it all DON CAMPBELL..MAY THEY RIP.. SORRY I DID NOT ADD EVERYONES REAL NAME, BUT IF YOU KNOW LOCKING THEN ITS SOMETHING YOU ALREADY KNOW. I WAS TRYING TO KEEP MY COMMENTS SHORT..MEANT NO DISRESPECT..
Don't forget Skeeter Rabbit. You'll see some other Lockers stand in's on the Toni Basil "Swan Lake Ballet" (Locker Version) that was on Saturday Night Live and UA-cam!
I don’t think anyone or anybody can top the Nicholas Brothers they were definitely ahead of their time .Even Michael didn’t come close and he was a great dancer and entertainer
@roadskare63 You're right, it's nothing like a HISTORY LESSON correct a LIE. Jamaicans created HIP HOP? No! It was PUERTO RICANS n BLACK AMERICAN 50/50? No! It was AFRICANS. Wrong again, it was MEXICANS? HIP HOP is a BLACK AMERICAN MUSIC GENRE, and no one help us CREATE our DANCES nor our MUSIC.
@@AnnaleighTV-ks1bb Oh gee...and I thought this video was about DANCING!!!.... I heard NO claims of ownership of Hip-Hop in the vid........🤔 pay attention.
@@roadskare63 No! It's about Black Americans CULTURAL dance and how the LOCKERS introduce what all of you are STUDYING the way you studied it in the 80's. We have an issue with too many LATINOS, AFRICANS and CARIBBEANS attempting to claim what they DIDN'T create or co-create it and you're MONETIZING it and attempting to help shut Black Americans out of OUR own culture. We have paid attention and what we see are too many of these groups lying saying THEY HELPED CREATED HIP HOP ! We never heard you come out and say NO, we got it from Black Americans! Until then, I and many Black Americans look at every group collectively. None of you would ever allow us to claim part of your Culture's LEGACY and HISTORY even though the BLACK presence in South, Central American and Mexico existed for centuries. We don't intrude in the CULTURE of others to attempt to take anything creative. We don't have to. So yes others studying our culture, emulating it then monetizing it while lying saying they originally created it is definitely an issue. We have people from countries that practice ANTI BLACKNESS in their own lands who come to this country attempting to practice the same ANTI BLACKNESS but want to be including in our CULTURE and our CULTURAL ACHIEVMENTS. Black American HISTORY and almost every MUSIC GENRE in this country was created by Black Americans who descend from those who were captives in this land. It is our LEGACY and if you or anyone else is offended that we are now GATEKEEPING our culture that's your issue. We have proof of what's being done and will BOYCOTT the MUSEM as will address THE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE. I miss this type of dancing, originators creative fun, and rhythmic poetry in motion. Young kids of this present generation know nothing about this. These talented brothers were cool, and stylish in their creative art work, of speed, foot work, fluid body movement's,
What attracted me about the lockers was that it wasn’t a dance that the” COOL Kids” gravitated towards. It was wild spontaneous and comical which appealed to my Creative spontaneous personality. The stuff that boogaloo Sam Was doing was something that the cool kids gravitated towards. You had to be smooth and polished.
