As an 80s baby from LA it was very surprising and really inspiring to know that the man who originated the pock locking dance not only at my old college but in my hometown too! Which is more surprising to me because this whole time I thought this style of dance originated in New York! Very cool thank you for sharing ❤

What's up Maryanne Danehy Campbell? The best most down to earth boss I ever worked for way back in the day at Physicians of Greater Long Beach / Managed Care Innovations in Seal Beach. She used to tell me stories about Don and Campbelllock all the time. So awesome that he finally got the major recognition he deserves for his place and contributions to Hip Hop over the years.

WoW so sorry for your loss, I thought he was still alive, last time I saw him in 1981, at a dance club in Harbor/Lomita CA. He was tall and Handsome, I use to dance with the Soul Train dancers, at Maverick Flats on Crenshaw Blvd. In LA. I was much younger than the Original Soul Train dancers, I was 21, and he was early 30's so he told me I looked very good. I just smiled and said thank you. Oh how I wish I would have danced on the show, and listen to Mother, she used to say, go on Soul Train, so your family in New Orleans can see you on the show. I was a very good dancer.and Don was a great dancer. May he rest in peace, I will see him again soon, in the new Paradise, and I hope to talk and dance with him, and we'll have a perfect Soul Train dancing all the time. So glad I got against to run into you then, I Never will forget your nice smile.. 😘😘🙏🏽🙏🏼💗

Único estilo que me faz parar e assitir. Infelizmente ate robô do Elon musk danca melhor.

That was my only issue with this the people he was introducing should’ve been upfront and center they should’ve been on stage to begin with, and they should’ve been given some type of plaque for years of dedication for your show, I hope this man was financially rewarded for making the TV shows he made more popular 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Shouldn't the original have been seated in the front not the dam back.

Stop spreading bullshit about Puerto Ricans and Jamaicans created Hip Hop 50/50 .
Hip Hop is a Black American culture invention and all others participated in it .
