😂😂😂
Sohyang's supported range is acually F#3/G3 - C6/C#6 I think, but I'm not educated or anything lmao. It just sounds like it :)
It's incredible that she still improves by the age of 40, when most singers would slowly get worse. The wonder of technique!
TheHufflePug
Recently, she supported E3 but it's safe to say she supports consistently in F#3/G3 - C6/C#6 - E6
Oh My Jinnie
Ohmy Sohyang supported an E6? :O At which performance?

@@justanobody8709 I think they mean a supported E6 in head voice, not mixed/belting.
@@justanobody8709 her highest support is F6 in head when sing Mariah Carey song (i forgot)
Sohyang support range :
E3 - C#6 - F6 (best and not consistent)
3 Octaves and a semitone
Her vocal support is even larger than some singer vocal range🤣
Ailee & SoHyang
Our queen Sohyang
I loved this vid ! It is really well explained and you didn't try to oppose the singers to each other (creating sorts of dilemmas for us lol, or even little fan wars) and I rly enjoyed it!
Goosebumps from start to finish! These women!! Really!! There are so many talented singers in korea!
I never knew wendy's eb5 was strained... It sounded so supported.
LAWR
It's audible that she was pushing and her voice compared to her D5s are very tense
It’s still sounded nice maybe that’s why
Me too
I just wanna say Taeyeon has supported several Eb5s in recent years
I had to keep on replaying Sohyang's high notes because they were just SOO godly and amazing!😍
Sohyang please don't do this to me 😂 i'm being addicted to your highnotes 😂
the way wendy supported and f#5 in "la rouge" !!!!!!! can't wait to see her level in the next years!
Wait, what?!
Sohyang is a monster ! To be honest I don’t like her tone when she goes above a certain note but those skills though, nobody can deny that 😍
Soyhang is a real queen. She so amazing
1:59 I SWEAR THIS VIDEO SHOWS UP IN EVERY VOCAL SUPPORT VS STRAIN VIDEO ITS AS IF IUS STRAIN IS HAUNTING ME
Hate to be that guy, but to me Ailee's F5 at 8:58 and Haeri's F#5 at 9:21 don't sound quite fully supported/resonant. Correct me if I'm wrong but apparently those notes for them can be a little inconsistent at times, mainly for Ailee. They're still exceptional vocalists regardless!
Jared Hoshikazow Haeri's vibrato is really weird, it's not controlled... But aside the stylistical pushing, the note was actually fine
Ah fair enough
Kpop producers need to be told just because you can doesn’t mean you should
Look at the real queen in the last video lol😂😂😂 i think Lee young hyun should be here. i want to know her support rang.
jean ja and i want park ki young too.
Manh Cam Nguyen wait she has supported up to Bb5? O_o
& I agree, PKY is really overrated.
Manh Cam Nguyen oh i see. thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Manh Cam Nguyen ohh I know that MV & I already know that note was LYH, I just thought it's unsupported. How about the live version tho? Did she support that Bb5?
@@resurgingflame The studio version could be just really edited, who really knows. The live Bb5 was not good though.
Haeri&Son Seungyeon❤👍
How could you not include sohyangs amazing lean on me high note!!
I literally don't know what you guys are talking about... I'm just enjoying
I just love how Lee Haeri rarely jumps away from her supported range. Although she still needs to improve her vibrato.
Damn, a lot of these unsupported notes aren't even THAT off from support (mostly C5-D5s). Koop girlies shit on Western singers
Cos Mendez *Kpop *girls
Cos Mendez KOOOOOOP GIRLS YEAHHHHH HAHAHHA IM DYING
Lol SoHyang in her late 20 (28,29) and her early 30 (31,32) she already support Bb5/B5
Bb5 from Old Dream (Ending is the Upon This Rock Ending)
B5 from cover Mariah Carey Hero
I don't know much about octaves but the supported ones just sound... fuller? Like there is much more sound to it. But like there is also plenty of room for playing with it, smoothly going up and down in notes.
I FUCKING LOVE YOU FOR THAT ENDING OMG, AS A SOHYANG LOVER I AM NOT SUPER HYPE LMAO
I still have a really bad time at distinguishing strained and supported but these videos help a bit, thx!
Minah's supported notes were so nice 😍 still one of my favorite performances she's ever done
not fully supported belting does not mean yelling.
theres a long spectrum between supported belting and yelling
What a GREAT way to end the video xD LOVED it xD SOHYANG!!! xD
Taeyeonnie 💗
Best kpop generation ever.. full of love to all this real singer ..
I love how as the list goes one the skill of the vocalists increase until reaching sohyang who's perfect
sohyang & ssy are literally insane
Lee Young Hyun is also a great belter. I think she will be right behind Sohyang in this video.
Sohyang is my ultimate bias
Wow Shannon is at such a young age!
