This whole game was sad, really. I felt so sad for the Gorons expecting the return of their hero, or the Deku Butler mourning the loss of his son, or the Zora Band awaiting their guitarist to come back and play with them. Each song and mask has its own special meaning in the game, strung with mourning and sorrow.

But you gotta remember. Termina and Hyrule are complete different worlds. The inhabitants of Termina refers to the 4 Giants as deities in their eyes. In this case, gods. The Triforce? Judging from the past peoples and species Link sees back in Hyrule, he sees in Termina, it’s all the more likely they have no knowledge nor history of the Triforce at all. Plus everything and everyone that is known are doing something completely different or doing something similar but not the same than what they would’ve done in the world of Hyrule. It’s like comparing one nation’s god to another nation’s god.

So that seems to clarify what is meant by "parallel world". Since "similar to and yet different from" is one definition of the word "parallel" and since MM uses the word "world" to mean nearby lands (i.e., MM says that the Southern Swamp, Snowhead, Great Bay, and Ikana are all separate worlds), it seems Aonuma's interview is meant to clarify what they always meant. Ive been doing some Majoras mask art work. Trying to get better at shading, lighting, hands, humans, and just drawing in general. Have had some of these songs stuck in my head for days now. I really love MM. My favorite zelda game. So dark, full of story, and a lot can be learnt from it. Such a good game.
One of the songs between those that really captivates me is the Oath to Order. It has such a tragic and melancholic tone it hits me pretty hard. The voice of the giant while singing the song makes me think it's almost crying while singing.

The second phase involves a fictional cult called the Moon Children (hosted at youshouldnthavedonethat.net which has recently been brought back as an archive of that phase) and fans could actually post videos of them playing ocarina songs in Majora's Mask (though OoT could be used as a substitute if the song was also valid in that game) and direct those videos at the ARG; if they were lucky, the plot would incorporate it. For example, when the Song of Time was accepted, the site went down for a bit before coming back up as though for the first time, with minor or major differences in how thing would play out compared to the cycle before. It didn't fix what that player had done it in an attept to fix, though (a common theme in these reactions). The third phase revolved around a forum called Within Hubris, and is the one that got so sorely cut short. Not much seems to remain of it.

Something I like about Majora's Mask compared to Ocarina of Time, since you can replay time and you can resee the cutscenes like the ones used in the game minus the few of them such as Song of Healing.

Something I like about Majora's Mask compared to Ocarina of Time, since you can replay time and you can resee the cutscenes like the ones used in the game minus the few of them such as Song of Healing.

Tenía un 64 prestado con el caset mi hermano mayor jugaba mientras yo le ayudaba traducir como no era muy buena con los movimientos yo era la traductora y el jugaba entonces hacíamos un trabajo en equipo:3 siempre que llegaba de escuela ya sabía que traduciría nunca fui buena jugando pero si para los asertijos en un momento de tensión de mis padres vieron la canción de modo deku recuerdo que mi papá y mi mamá acordaron que les gustaba la canción le decían a mi Hermano que si apoco el la podía repetir no se ahora mis papás no se llevan muy bien que digamos y mi hermano ya se junto solo puedo decir que cuando oigo los songs recuerdo a mi familia reunida en ese momento siempre me causan una enorme nostalgia que me hace llorar muy en el fondo
