  • I've lived in Montreal my whole life, and even though I think I know everything about this city, I don't. There are things in Montreal that I've always wanted to do, but for some reason just never done, and now that the weather is beautiful in the city, I'm challenging myself to finally do them! Give it a watch to see what I tried, and hopefully to inspire yourself to do the same thing in your own city!

Next time you should bike Notre-Dame going east toward Longue-Pointe, where the port of Montreal ends you will find one of the nicest park in Montreal, Parc de la promenade Belle-rive. There are beaches along the park and alot of nature. Also at the far end of Rivière-des-prairies and Pointe-aux-Trembles there is a natural park called Parc nature de la pointe-aux-prairies. Also in the summer, you can take a ferry boat from the pier of promenade Belle-Rive to the Boucherville Islands or Dowtown montreal and bicycles are allowed on the boat.

Wait, you've never been to the jazz festival, and you've lived in town your entire ife. How is that? It's kind of hard to miss if you go downtown. Also, the Japanese Garden has been around for a very long time. The best time to see it would be in the evening, actually, when there is a light show. The Lantern Festival at the Botanical Gardens is great. The beach in Verdun was only opened a few years ago, in 2019, so it wouldn't have been around before then.

    • @fleecystheking

The absolute best spot : walk up Jacques Cartier Bridge. It’s closed for cars between 8:30 and 10:30 on fireworks nights for this exact purpose.
