Have been by those statues in Place d'Armes countless times, and never grasped their meaning - thanks!
I was just in Montreal last month for two weeks for work. I've been there several times. Every time I go back, I am amazed at how awesome of a city it is. The best mix of people, the best culture, restaurants that are mind-blowingly good and just such a good vibe.
I've lived in Toronto for 38 years, and I can safely say that Montreal is the best city in Canada!
EXCEPT! Hockey. Go Leafs Go! :)
Habs or Leafs!
@@cnlicnli Go Leafs GO!!!!
The leafs are truly record setters, unfortunately it's for the longest drought between championships in league history.
I can't wait for those surprises when I visit Montreal. Today's my birthday and also the anniversary date when Montreal was founded.
3:02 RIP whale
Summer is short in Montréal. Gotta have fun!
Thanks for including me in your video!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Oh this is gonna be another amazing video!
Very cool video about Montreal
Aw two days away. Thumbs up anyway because I know it will be good.
I currently live in Montreal. I loved it when I was a tourist, but living and working here is quite mediocre. Having grown up in London, and lived in Zurich, Los Angeles, Milan, Rome, Boston, Malaga, and Toronto, I have seen things far more interesting than Montreal. I guess if you’re from Moncton or Halifax, then yeah, Montreal is spectacular 🎉
great vid
You danm right!!!! Montreal is one of the best city for urban exploration 😎😎😎
Another good one
Surprenant!😮
I live montreal and you should check bell center and orange julip if you havent
A place I really want to visit. Need to brush up on my French. Parle vous Francais?
👍
Are the swings still there?
They’re usually put up every spring before the summer festivals :)
The world's most aggressive squirrels live on the plateau.
I lived in Montreal my whole life and having traveled to other countries I often find it very underwhelming on a design, history, culture and lifestyle compared to cities like Stockholm, Saint Petersburg, Delhi, Tokyo and many more. It Isn't bad but feels like it is too young yet and falls a bit flat. With construction and abandoned buildings often breaking beautiful views to nothingness. only a few handful of places are worth visiting. In my opinion if you have money to spend on a place to go, skip it and go somewhere else even if it's 1k more it's worth it
Hmm it feels like you haven’t properly explored the city then! Montreal is hiding so many spectacular treasures that few locals know about unfortunately. Also fun fact: Montreal is older than Saint Petersburg and only 39 years younger than Tokyo.
Everywhere I go nobody speaks English.....
Les invasions barbares...
WE LOVE OUR GREAT CITY AND WE LOVE TOURISTS FROM ALL OVER THE GLOBE. BUT A WARNING THAT THE FASTEST WAY TO LOSE THOSE GREAT TOURISTS IS TO SAY "I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH" IT TAKES MONTHS TO FIND GOOD CUSTOMERS AND SECONDS TO LOSE THEM!!
Il y a des relents de francophobie dans ce commentaire!
Bullshit! Few people speak English in Paris. Yet customers keep coming. You anglos will never learn!
@@user-mrfrog You are an idiot. Any business person who deals with the public SHOULD speak whatever languages are common in the area or they DO NOT deserve those customers at all.
What if they don't speak English? Is that wrong or something or is everyone on the globe obligated to learn your language?
