I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

Research shows that psilocybin mushrooms have promising results for mental health support, particularly in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
My recovery journey was greatly enhanced by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT and LSD have also proven to be remarkable.

Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Yes Mr.Luccas024* ..Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!
Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, dr.sporesss. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
Depression haunted my life from a very young age, and I was put on a bunch of SSRIs as a child in attempt to deal with it. None worked.Psychedelic mushrooms was brought to my attention. It was the first thing that actually had real effects. They should only be used with great care and respect.
I hear this is supposed to be good for people who have mental health issues. I actually just started the research process of microdosing and all that. I'm to the point where I want shock treatment.
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it's just so hard to source out here
I’ve been researching on psychedelics and it’s benefits to individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and from my findings, they really work and I’ve been eager to get some for a while but its been difficult to get my hands on them.
The Trips I've been having really helped me a lot. I’m now able to meditate and I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
@@WalterFair130 I feel the same way . I put too much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels. I am also glad to be a part of this community.
The doctor who is against this new treatment made two arguments. The treatment is expensive as it could take 8 treatments for a cure, and that we don’t know if it might cause harm. My rebuttal: 1. For the cost, if the cure takes 8 sessions with 2 specialists that is expensive for the NHS. If the PTSD patient is 30 years old, should NHS pay for 8 sessions and the patient is cured - or pay for therapy, counselling, medication, GP for the next 50 years (assuming lifetime of 80yrs)? 2. Future effects not fully known. Isn’t that the whole point of the research the other doctors want to do? All medications have side-effects, from slight discomfort to lethal. Grab a bottle of Aspirin™️, Tylenol™️, Ibuprofen🇪🇪, or equivalent and read known side-effects (one of which is a headache, pure irony). We innovate by scientific research, and any doctor that doesn’t agree is in the wrong profession.
3:07 Its true. They heal, a one-off treatment, long lasting and safe. I had my first magic mushroom trip where I ate 5g of fresh Psilocybe cubensis 6 months ago. The trip only lasted about 3 hours and was quite emotional but wasn't too bad. Ever since that day I no longer had any flashbacks that would emotionally ruin my day, I sleep better at night, and had a better sense of love and understanding towards other people. It really does work!
@@jaimerr8826 I had many bad memories from my school to university days ranging from bullying to failures in my studies. I started to notice the decline in my mental health around 2015 when one day I broke down crying on how badly I was doing in life. @@jaimerr8826 yes you can say I had rumination anxiety and depression. As for self esteem. I am not afraid to talk to people when they approach me but I am slightly afraid to approach people, even to just say hello. For example, giving a power point presentation in front of a class wasn't that big of a deal to me but randomly approaching strangers and making small talks is.
I hope I can treat extreme childhood abuse by a Psicopath mother and home violence witnessing till 11 and later adoption. My body hurts , I’m 31, young , good carrer, but .. my health.. is starting to fail. Some days I just don’t move from my desk chair. Having extreme fatigue… I hope microdosing helps me…. Feel you girl and I'm sorry. I also experience fatigues, low moods, and muscle armoring because of ptsd. Psychedelics work. Slowly, surely, together with somatic work and I also visit EMDR therapist. Good luck on your jorney~~~
Thankyou so much! I’m on the journey.. and I’m about to start with a therapist that also use’s mdma so let’s see… all I want is to be myself.. I’m so dissociated that yes.. body hurts.. and life has no to little meaning cause emotions are lacking.. I wish the best for you also
Well.. I keep microdosing. I do cry so much.. so so much. It’s endless pain. I get closer to feelings of rage, revenge, hate.. against the husband of my mother. I am very scared when I get in touch with those feelings.. it’s still touching the surface… and I’m not sure it will work I hope… cause the violence started when I was very young, 3/4 ys old until I was 9, and then same story at my grandma home. It’s too much rage too much pain witness and listen violence home. at the moment it helps but it’s slow , I am scared of going higher now alone.. it used to get very terrifying.
Whatever it takes for our Brave Soldiers who sadly suffer with PTSD to get better is fine by me, just because these substances are not socially accepted doesn't mean they are bad, everyone with toothache reaches for the medicine cabinet for the strongest drugs available to relieve the pain and no one bats an eyelid " But when Science and the Professional medical world Agree that this Pyscodelic drug Can and Does CURE a lot of Veterans and people with PTSD Why Can't the Government give the green light for research to happen ?
I have personally used psychedelics for depression and anxiety. It works and it’s absolutely inhumane to keep this medication from those suffering. Here in the USA LSD and psilocybin and ketamine are healing people. Our FDA is fast tracking them as we speak. What that psychiatrist is missing is that people don’t have decades to wait for people like him to warm up to the idea. Also it’s proven fact that psychedelics are far less addictive than alcohol or hard drugs.
Enlightenment is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. So the bad news is that you don't have parachute, but the good news is that you discover there is no ground. And then you're just endlessly falling and you never reach the ground. So in a sense, what i'm asking you to do is to jump. And you don't want to jump. You're saying, I'm scared. I'm too scared to jump. And I'm saying, jump. God is telling you, jump, jump into infinite love and it's going to be great. But you're like, what if I kill myself and what if something else happens? I don't know. You just jump into infinite love. Take the leap of faith and you'll discover infinite love. And you're too scared to do it. But then eventually when you do it, then you're just going to discover that there's no ground. You're endlessly falling forever and it's great. But yeah, taking that leap is really difficult. It requires you to face your death. So of course, everybody is too afraid to do it. People are just to scared.
Psychedelics completely change how you view yourself, your relationships with others, your traumas, and allow you to reconnect with the child that still lives deep inside.
My Experience on psilocybin has been a profound benefit it erase my anxiety and panic attack, But one ought to take the right dosage below is where I usually obtain mine.
Mdma is the reason I can look at myself and others without being scared. When it first hit me I felt true, unconditional love towards myself and others that I had never felt. I initially took it in means to party, but I ended up going into a room with a pen and a piece of cardboard (I didn't have paper) and wrote down all the things I love about myself. It was right after Mac Miller Circles album was released and the song 'Hand me downs' still gives me chills cause that's what I was listening to when I first felt love, beside my gf of almost 3 years... PTSD made me think I knew what love was, I was very wrong That was 4.5 years ago now. I've only done mdma a handful of times since because it's such a special thing in my life. But I'm also at a point where I could use another session, but where I live makes it very hard (if not impossible) to find a therapist that would be willing to work alongside mdma or psilocybin that I can also fully trust
I remember the first time I ever took MDMA, I had a level of inner peace and connection with the world and people around me that I've never felt before in my life. All my problems were gone. The only downside is that this lasted for about half an hour.
Psychedelics has a significant benefits in human race if they govt will be kind enough to discriminalise it the society's would be a better place, Let me guide you to this renowned specialist who dispense authentic shrooms, DMT and other major Psychs stuff discreetly to any location locally and internationally.
That guy at 9.36 has a deepy-cynical and conservative take. He talks as if what the NHS currently offers actually works consistently when it doesn't. Also, if psychedelic therapy would be more expensive (and there's a strong case that it wouldn't be), then surely it's worth paying more into the nhs. He talks like the NHS being underfunded is a permanent inescapable matter of fact.
Beware lots of scammers on this thread. Direct you to a source on Telegram and/or Instagram. taking money and no delivery. Tell you the product was found by authorities or other excuse. You are out of luck and then they keep your money. Beware of Scammers You were warned! Same group who go by many names
That government needs to let research take place much more easily. Depression and PTSD are vile to live with( if you can call it a life). It says a lot about any government that restricts research that could help with this terrible mental illness. I'm not advercating people should just go and take it without medical supervision. However the research must be done more quickly.
This is Nice. Actually there is this reputable shroom farm, where i get quality shrooms ,got my (lsd & gummies &chocolate bar) from two weeks ago. Still on it
Doctors are not the right people to handle these things they are spiritual medicines not pharmaceutical drugs. A shaman, witch or someone who's experienced should be the ones administering these things. And I'm saying this as someone who's taken part in these things. Other than physical safety a doctor would be useless unless they understand the spiritual side of it and are trained in how to work with it.
MDMA helped me through so much.. it just reminds you that happiness is still possible, that you can still feel good. It’s a life saver when used like this.
I remember the first time I ever took MDMA, I had a level of inner peace and connection with the world and people around me that I've never felt before in my life. All my problems were gone. The only downside is that this lasted for about half an hour.
There is always money for more war, but never enough to fix the broken after. Unfortunately Veterans can’t rely on their government for help, at times it truly feels like they want you to hurry up and die because you are a burden. This is why Veterans helping Veterans is so important! To those who are suffering keep up the fight, and remember the ones that are not with us anymore, use their memory to keep pushing. Happy Memorial Day 2024 🇺🇸
Yes it would, This is Nice. Actually there is this reputable shroom farm, where i get quality shrooms ,got my (lsd & gummies &chocolate bar) from two weeks ago. Still on it
Literally, I never hear success stories from people with cptsd like me. It gets demotivating like what’s the point?? But now I feel hopeful knowing there’s something that can fix it at least
@@summero-my5in The problem for me is that they're generally illegal in my country. Not sure where everyone's getting theirs in America unless it's done illegally
I'm sorry, one shouldn't be able to weigh in on controlled psilocybin therapy unless you've undergone the John Hopkin's/King's College Protocols. 'You' endure/experience it, and then talk to me. I underwent the protocol with a group therapy session in Jamaica. It was the most painful experience of my life, but also allowed me to resolve my PTSD of familial loss. I witnessed it helping others who had lost family members to cancer/suicide etc in our group and the results were astonishing. Note, they consider exclusion criteria: Bipolar & Schizophrenia and severe CV disease.
When you say it was the most painful.. did it still resolve your problems? I guess it was painful in terms of facing your traumas? I would appreciate a lot as I lost my family as a kid and was adopted and the story is very complex and dark and I’m 32 and struggling my whole life with cptsd and memories and so on
@ it was painful because it brought up those deep seated emotions that I knew were there but wasn’t able to access/resolve. Once I ‘re-endured’ those emotions (painful sadness) it helped me process & move on. Prior traditional counselors had gently guided me to do the same thing, but I was emotionally stuck. My retreat (MycoMeditations: I have no direct personal or financial ties) had clinical psychologists who helped (after the dosing: not during) with the processing in the subsequent sessions. It isn’t a cheap retreat but worth the emotional healing. The active ingredient also primes one for change I believe through neuroplasticity: at least that is what some of the research shows (resetting the default mode network).
@ BTW, my mother was hit/killed by a drunk driver on my 9th birthday….that certainly altered my life course. I persisted with life through education, family, hard work, but I was never the same emotionally. The therapy in 2023 definitely helped me reset those negative emotions from all those years ago (30+ years). I wish I would have been able/known to do it sooner.
It easy to access psychedelics products online I get my stuff from a reputable shroom store that ships globally, they’ve got shrooms, mdma, acid, and more
Straw man arguments from the anti-drug professor. The urgent need is to reclassify these drugs in order that academic/medical research can advance without the current severe restrictions. That reclassification would NOT make the drugs readily available to the entire public.
I think any any new miracle drugs should be fully tested & researched before given the go ahead. I say this from being a veteran thats spent nearly a decade getting a grip of my PTSD. I think drugs can help. But it was not until I had intense therapy sessions, using various techniques, that I began to get a grip of my life.
These substances have been used therapeutically thousands of years. They aren't recently manufactured drugs. Entire religions have been created around them. I'd say they've been tested well enough.
Yeah, we're blinded by their own experience. And we, as mankind, constantly spin our wheels as we relearn what we've already known. Mushrooms have been used by man for thousands and thousands upon thousands of years. That does mean we should stop learning, or relearning. It means we should ask ourselves why has this been for so long and what benefits can we get for our own current experience from it and if there are any drawbacks.@@timharper4246
I know a young person who had some issues, went on a journey to South America, came back a different person… far worse in many ways. Much of the life previously known was gone, no longer even a memory of it. No desire to work. Does not like it that work is required to exchange for others to provide basics like food & shelter. Now questions things like if taking controlled substances are bad, after consuming & being in an abnormal state. College educated. Before, used to work as a safety engineer. Now, does virtually nothing, currently dependent upon a disabled elderly parent. Some will call this anecdotal, but the behavior difference is clear & employment history are hard facts. In my youth… we called such people “burn outs” for a reason. Similar behaviors are exhibited. Not wanting to work for food & shelter, when physically able, is not a beneficial side effect of such things. Care must be taken, with powerful chemical agents.
@@andykendall5171 - “we should we turn to nature…” Man made vs Nature made is probably not the best comparison. Apples 🍎 are organic, but eating apple seeds like sunflower 🌻 seeds might kill us. Nature offer figs as well as uranium, consuming uranium & using figs for fuel is insufficient… processing uranium offers ability to create immense quantities of energy, allowing space craft to travel outside of the galaxy! Everything has a purpose and must be used according to it’s purpose. Except for mosquitoes… I can’t figure out what the purpose is for mosquitoes… 😂
Psychedelics can be bad for some people, and traumatised people need support when they do psychedelics. From what I've seen, they only cause big problems with people who were already predisposed to schizophrenia. More testing is needed, and there should be a questionnaire to identify potential risk factors, e.g. a family history of schizophrenia etc. They should only be taken in a safe environment, with friendly people who know how to help people work through trauma. But anyway, this kind of care is needed for all patients. People with a chronic illness are more likely to be abused and traumatised. Abuse can cause chronic illnesses. I read a study that said depression makes diabetes 4.5 times more expensive to treat, and other studies have shown the same pattern. Doctors who aren't trauma-informed can do a lot of harm, no matter what medications they prescribe. It shouldn't be so hard for doctors to just be caring with their patients. It makes such a huge difference in outcomes, it should be taught in every medical school.
@@joshgreen8034Being dependent on an elderly disabled person is objectively doing worse. It’s one thing to question society and try to find alternative ways to living as an independent adult. It’s another to make someone else fund your Thoreau experience.

more kind and loving is exactly why they made it class A , The goverments want fighters for their armies like back in Vietnam times not spiritually calm and loving people, Governments need warriors to do their dirty work
Could've done without that numpty at the end who was completely anti-drugs. Your profession failed this man, he went to Peru on a spiritual journey with a shaman instead and it worked. Modern medicine as a whole is great at some stuff, and terrible at admitting when it isn't so great. It's like they want to right off traditional methods as mumbo-jumbo or "dangerous" because they can't brand it, charge us or our country for it or use it to get people hooked.
Unfortunately the stigma has been sewed, and many men will die due to people like him preaching about something they have no understanding in. Under the correct circumstances, psychedelic therapy can do incredible things
Thinking outside of the box, why don't war veterans travel to Netherlands to take DBT and have this group of people be treated and use this group for research. Why can't funding be provided especially when governments send people off to conflicts but have poor strategies for war veterans returning to their own countries.
I can give you a good reason to live....from a outside perspective looking in. I see a absolutely beautiful woman. That's a veteran which means your a true hero a true fighter, when I look at you I see a absolutely beautiful woman with a Valkyrie soul. You don't meet people that has a heart of gold anymore. Be happy for who you are... I wish I could be happy for myself but dmt isn't gonna save me. I don't think nothing's gonna save me. Stleast be happy you made it out.
Its amusing to watch these fools in the medical community try and get between us and the plants. You don't need a therapist. You just need to trust the plants.....they make life possible and they certainly know how to show us the way to heal.
And still preferrably have someone as trip sitter to look after you. It is also what these therapists do too but the difference is that their time is not cheap.

No it wont cure it. At least not in my case. Just relieved some hellishness from Afghanistan, and thought the docs were taliban interrogators. Or soviets from the 80s. 😂 Than yelled at a lamp which I thought was the devil for 5 hours. Other times i just talked to garden gnomes. One good thing was, i had a good night sleep afterwards. But PTSD is still there. And i still take other stuff to help me sleep. And i have many veteran friends who regularly use it, with similar results.
It takes more than 1 time mat e the Shaman I worked with had to take it 16 times to fully heal from trauma. That being said it isn't for everyone but they do work. You have go go through the pain first and that's what people don't understand about these things.
@@EyeOfTheCat2002 And doctors don't always have the skills or the right personality to guide people through trauma. You need a good guide, and you need to do some work inside your head. You can't just expect it to go well if you don't have an environment conducive to healing.
Legal psychedelics have helped me immensely whenever I have experienced a severe PTSD episode. Note: I don’t experience flashbacks, I experience invasive memories. Invasive memories are like flashbacks, except only *most* of my awareness of the here and now gets hijacked by my trauma memories. During an episode, I do experience these brief blip moments of cognitive clarity of the here and now but they only last half a second.

Golden Teacher mushrooms has been quite therapeutic for me and I’m using PE for spiritual and mental gratification.
I've been looking to try shrooms. Can someone direct me to a source?

It's amazing how they work better than antidepressants and serve recreational purpose as well
Can Doctor.jeremyy post to me in PA?
Absolutely, he sends anywhere and discreetly.

The trips I've been having have really helped me, I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future.

The doctor who is against this new treatment made two arguments. The treatment is expensive as it could take 8 treatments for a cure, and that we don’t know if it might cause harm.
My rebuttal:
Mushrooms are about 10$ a gram in Canada. Not expensive.
They want that pharma money

3:07 Its true. They heal, a one-off treatment, long lasting and safe. I had my first magic mushroom trip where I ate 5g of fresh Psilocybe cubensis 6 months ago. The trip only lasted about 3 hours and was quite emotional but wasn't too bad. Ever since that day I no longer had any flashbacks that would emotionally ruin my day, I sleep better at night, and had a better sense of love and understanding towards other people. It really does work!

Alcohol sales would drop, they're big donors.

Guess this Psychiatrist hasn't been suffering from Ptsd or anyone in he's family.
PTSD made me think I knew what love was, I was very wrong
That was 4.5 years ago now.

The psychiatrist against may sound all rational but he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I wish I would have been able/known to do it sooner.
i think this is probably only true with 1 trauma, not with inherited stuff. or multiple things

They aren't new miracle drugs they are the oldest form of drugs we have and are making a come back.

We should turn to nature more and what it supplies rather man made?
@@andykendall5171 - “we should we turn to nature…”
Man made vs Nature made is probably not the best comparison.
Far worse by your standards, how does he feel he is doing?
