#diyprojects #girlpower
I must say I do like Mike n Meg video's better than just Meg video's. He adds balance to the equation of humanity. God bless you both.
Wow a big day(s) for you and the new 'old' homestead. Wee done all 😃😃😎😎
Many people do not understand how nice a manufactured home can be made and many times more affordably.
Congrats! It's a beaut, Clark!
I think that skid steer was an awesome purchase.Congrats on the house you guys!
Interesting little peek to the 2018 :) Nice project and looking forward to the house tour in next episode.
Frankly I didn't expected a prefab home. Suddenly you guys have your home standing proud on the property in this beautiful surroundings. It is finally taking shape. On to the next one.
Wow this is awesome the progress you and Mike are making.
I ❤ you guys!!
Keep on keeping on🎉
The backhoe/frontloader International is now like a great farmer. Outstanding in its field.
Brilliant! I'm more than slightly impressed! The highlight of the video, though was you two shouting "Hello!" at each other down the convoluted tubing! You're both as mad as a box of frogs!
I have to admit that I shed a few tears when I saw your new home settled in place under the beautiful evening sky...
🥰🤣😂😎
20 minutes.. so short. :P I've gotten so used to your long videos. They are so meditative. :) Nice job Meg
I always wondered how they got those homes off the transport rig, thanks for the updates Meg and Mike. Have fun!
Bonjour Meg. Je suis très heureux que vous ayez votre maison ! Comme on le dit en France " Petit à petit, l'oiseau fait son nid" A bientôt pour la suite de votre installation.
❤ congratulations,
Nice job on your first home! I'm sure your new home will be great as well!!
You guys are remarkable, an inspiration. One day I hope to accomplish something close to what you and Mike have. Great job😊
Somehow I had the feeling, even when others were bombing your site selection, that you had even that well thought out and well in hand.
I know you can’t really afford to take a break yet, but you guys deserve a spa week!!
Another big step forward 👍
Wow!!!! All I can say to you both, is you are living the DREAM!!! How fantastic to see your house get set in place, best wishes!!!!!
Meg, you and Mike never slow down. As a couple, you two are so enjoyable to watch. Work so well together. Great purchase. I can't wait for the tour. Definitely no shortage of projects 😁.
congratulation !
Enjoy your new, old home !!
Congrats getting a home on site!
It's wonderful to see such a big but fragile structure travelled on country lanes for so much without any damage or even a scratch!
How exciting, awesome video guys ,you have such a beautiful spot .
What a great, and fulfilling adventure. Hope you can make use of the "fertile" topsoil you spent hours moving!
doing groundworks on that scale is no easy thing to do especially when you have such soft top soil and not much experience i think you did a fantastic job !!
Great video, and it's very interesting! 😁 👍
Am from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I found your channel the other day I love you'd video
I'm over the moon happy for you guys. I can't wait for the day the inside is done and you move in after everything is hooked up. I'm looking forward to your next video.🏠
Great Job !!!!! , you should be very proud. 😀
thanks for making this video atleast i saw what it looks like under these homes
Congratulations!
Cool video Meg -N- Mike. I live in a 1973 mobile home that a nice lady payed me 850 dollars to move off her property. I went early on a Sunday morning with my farm tractor and towed it the 8 miles to my lot. That was 20 years ago. I’m still living in it. Life is good.
Hi you two,
Have been drawn into your peace of our cake and could not believe it´s possible to buy such a spot or view.
Some say you have to really live in a home for a while before it can feel right, yet I have always been an emotional
sponge and move for the area and feel of the location.
The views are always so large in America and it´s what that land has to offer.
I emigrated to Sweden and was hoping to find a similar spot. Yet it took me 15 years!
Yet also have an amazing home here next to a forest and with warm people to lean on.
Was surprised that you made your supports out of simple soft timer, Deep treated timber would have lasted 5 years.
Yet maybe you have to count your cent´s?
Also amazing having to go so far to find a basic home to meet what must be standard standards! I speak of a bare minimum
of 1.5 meter snow, yet even that is easy to fix, as you just raise higher. So wonder what was lacking in other homes that you had to travel
for 14 hours?!
Looking forward to your efforts to make it look warm and cozy. Take it slow, remember it´s all about the journey and not arriving clueless
that´s important 🙏💕

Aww Meg and Mike that looks so cute. Looking forward to the tour
What a ride! ❤️
Amazing video again. So happy for ye guys. Cant wait for a another vid. ❤❤
I hope I find my Meg soon 🥰
Nice. Enjoy the new place.
You know I was wondering what you would be up to now that winter is knocking on the door and I thought there's no way they are going to try and build during the winter. I should have known you had something up your sleeve, you're the master of pre planning.
Nice work! Cant wait for the house tour 😊
so awesome, I vote for a mandatory wrap around deck/ porch build with second floor area :)
loved the video x
very nice!
I'm currently in my first home with my wife that we had to tear down the whole inside ourselves and rebuild to save money. No turn-key stuff for us!
I reckon you should make videos of fixing everything wrong with the international FarmCraft101 style. it might take ages but by the time your done you will love it. you will learn alot to.
i lived in one of those types of home most of my life
Love You!
Woh, lots of work.
It might have been easier and possibly more efficient to just drive piers down to bedrock? I'm sure you thought of that option already.
Hey, consider getting in contact with RR buildings, those dudes seem to know quite well what's up - could be a cute colab or something?
there i was thinking you guy's were going to build your own house..
Is it a Canadian thing to use wooden cribbing? I've only ever seen concrete block used in the US.
You too are remarkable!
What did all those truckloads of rocks cost?
You got a house delivered?! Hope you tipped the door dash driver 😜
Wait, is all those "trailer park houses" in US same as these houses? I didn't know about that! I thought they all are made in the spot. Carrying whole house for hours of driving is wild idea to grasp. Also how's the main structure isn't rotten for these wooden house there?
Great work guys, everything came out great. But oh my God, I was cringing, watching those guys working underneath the house, suspended by That old light duty looking crane with no safety jacks. Yikes!
Love your channel just added it to my list of interesting videos. What state are you in or what country???
Muy poquito video, queremos mas!
I don't understand why you said you had to go buy water from your neighbor, but yet I thought you just said earlier in the video that you dug your own well and had crystal clear water
Why a huge travel trailer and a manufactured house ? I assume you will sell the trailer ?
Ok, backhoe can’t be used due to soft soil.
But once you had a pad of fill rocks put down, why couldn’t you use it?
Both of you could have been spreading rocks.
Did you buy or lease the CAT ?
So it's your house or yours and mikes? Mike is a business partner? 😂
I don’t understand whey The cribs are wood? They are supposed to be concrete so they don’t rot.
5:57 August Scenic Design Can you give us the contact information about them?
Your partner
i am curious if it would have been cheaper if you had dug pylons?
I though u guys were going to build the house not get one delivered ? And have the truck problem u mighty has well have built it ? Do u think it would have been better if u guys built it in stead ? That would have been cool to watch u build it and not have to wait for the house to show up on and truck ? But I understand that u guys did not want to do that .
These video noting but joke
