The true horror of the Necrons is that only the most elite of them can even begin to remember the magnitude of what they lost during biotransference; snippets of memory, momentary flashes of emotion. The rest of them are confined to a mostly soulless existence that I can only describe as late-stage dementia. The worst of them succumb to the destroyer virus or the flayer virus, both of which are looked upon with horror and revulsion by the other Necrons. The Necrons sacrificed so much to achieve immortality only to find the price too steep for their liking, but forced to pay it regardless.
Man of the many of your stories that deserve to be canon, god I wish tiger and hawk was. There is just something about respectful frenemies that is awesome.

I like to think that the "psychic" weapons function by remotely pressing the electrical buttons in your brain to produce the desired affect, bypassing the warp entirely. One could imagine such large AOE weapons were created to counter the menace that is Eldar fighters because there really is no way to deal with those things with equivalent craft.
Those that said peak imperium would stomp out a united necron with Szarekh at the helm hasn't listened to Baldermort's necron videos. I had a debate with someone legitimately said that Szarekh would lose to a Primarch.
The emperor sure, A demon primarch maybe. as to necrons vs imperium it really depends on how much the necrons have lost and if the imperium is still fighting everything else

Necrons, their physics, capabilities and weapons in space, and on land in the written lore: (Bloodcurdling night terror-borne, long; drawn-out scream. And then silence.)

A fully awakened Necron fleet is terrifying in canon, even Scythe class cruisers could take on battle groups alone and their fastest/stealthiest ships can basically ignore the defenses of even the Sol system without much issue, only being shot down because they slowed down to make a landing.
I'v added a bunch of new ships to the Necron fleets, including titans and mega titans like the Throne of the Silent King to Battle Fleet Gothic Armada 2 in my mod, Skalgrim mod. In the upcoming 2.2 version Im adding several new Necrons ships to the other expanded rosters. Make the galaxy quake in the shadow of the eternal Necron race.
Always loved the battle fleet gothic games, the newst one blows it out of the park it just sucks that not many people bought it when it came out, you can get some pretty massive battles in this one ive had a couple go for 2 or 3 hours before when fighting a tyranid hive fleet
